Hello !
1.We get that often, googles measurement is not very accurate. Sometime it doesn’t load the style.css so that’s why you will receive that error.
2.To increase your mobile page speed we recommend using the Mobile Theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
3.You have to add that code here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LD1QfMGq3
Thank you !
Hi,
1. If you want to set the Newsletter in category page you can get a category template from tagDiv Cloud Library edit it using tagDiv Composer and set the Newsletter in sidebar.
Or you can create a new sidebar and go in widgets set the Custom html and set the code that you set in Newsletter in custom html.
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/L1gXiWkp7n3n -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pQft8xFSXI9f
2. You need to go in theme panel > Translations and search for those words -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sfgxFW2rG
3. You can import a category template from tagdiv Cloud Library and set on content a border or you can use this custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FD4DjugU
.td-pb-span8{
border-right: 1px solid#e8e8e8;
}
Set the code in Theme panel> Custom code > Custom css and you’ll have that border on full website.
4. If you want to remove the show comments from modules/blocks all you need to do is to go in Newspaper>Theme panel> Blocks Settings > Meta tag on Modules/Blocks and deactivate the “Show comment count”.
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/P64OrKwQ
Thank you!
Hi
it seems to me that the mobile version of the theme only uses
…mobile/style.css
how to delete in mobile versione
…block-library/style.min.css
…td-multi-purpose/td-plugin-multi-purpose.min.css
that slow down pagespeed results from google?
thanks!
Hi,
The number of products can be changed like this
– https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/change-number-of-products-displayed-per-page/
Modify the number as needed – http://prntscr.com/nxu4po
For woocommerce fonts there aren’t many settings – http://prntscr.com/nxu5ep
Maybe it can be done with some CSS. Mention which fonts you would like to change and how.
Thanks
Hi,
If you want to change the margins for a post you can use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library edit the single post template -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pnHNvnEeVi
If you do not want to use the above method you can try a custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3NDntyONe55K
.single .td-container-wrap .td-container .td-pb-row{
width: 80%;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
Set the code in theme panel> Custom code> Advance css> Desktop
Thank you!
Hi,
1. The booster will not be active it it detects plugins that are not part of a predefined list, set in the plugin code – http://prntscr.com/nxtt2m The check could be disabled, this is a similar topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
2. The mobile theme has it’s own functions file, try entering it there
– http://prntscr.com/nxtv2a
3. There is an issue in the latest theme version, the sub-menu arrows that should appear in the mobile menu modal are hidden. The fix is to enter this code in the theme panel custom CSS section
.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: inline-block;
}
Then they should appear – http://prntscr.com/nxtxu0 Sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Dear Support,
I followed your instructions and it seems now home page is appearing properly except Social Networking tags.
Please have a look on https://abitfar.com/ and have a look on these tags:
[td_block_social_counter custom_title=”STAY CONNECTED” facebook=”aBitFarIN” style=”style4 td-social-colored” twitter=”aBitFarIN”]
This is appearing on home page, right corner.
Current tag set of this page is like this:
[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][td_block_trending_now sort=”featured” limit=”5″ category_id=”66″][td_block_big_grid_3 td_grid_style="td-grid-style-1" sort="featured"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class="td-ss-row"][vc_column width="2/3"][td_block_1 limit="5" custom_title="Don't Miss" header_color="#e29c04" td_ajax_filter_type="td_category_ids_filter" td_ajax_filter_ids="" td_filter_default_txt="All" ajax_pagination="next_prev" sort="random_posts" category_ids="" category_id="67" tdc_css="eyJhbGwiOnsiZGlzcGxheSI6Im5vbmUifX0="][td_block_2 category_id="" limit="6" header_color="#4caf50" td_ajax_filter_ids="" td_filter_default_txt="All" ajax_pagination="next_prev" td_ajax_filter_type="td_category_ids_filter" custom_title="ALL AROUND"][td_block_15 category_id=”59″ limit=”3″ header_color=”#607d8b” td_filter_default_txt=”All” ajax_pagination=”next_prev” sort=”random_posts” custom_title=”ENTERTAINMENT”][td_block_1 category_id="26" limit="5" custom_title="Tech and Gadgets" header_color="#f44336" td_ajax_filter_type="" td_ajax_filter_ids="" td_filter_default_txt="All" ajax_pagination="next_prev" sort="random_posts"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][td_block_social_counter custom_title="STAY CONNECTED" facebook="aBitFarIN" style="style4 td-social-colored" twitter="aBitFarIN"][td_block_ad_box spot_id="sidebar" spot_title="- Advertisement -"][td_block_15 category_id=”” limit=”4″ custom_title=”MAKE IT MODERN” td_filter_default_txt=”All” ajax_pagination=”next_prev” sort=”random_posts” category_ids=”21,26″][td_block_1 category_id="" limit="3" custom_title="LATEST REVIEWS" td_filter_default_txt="All" sort="random_posts"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][td_block_11 limit=”5″ custom_title=”PERFORMANCE TRAINING” td_filter_default_txt=”All” category_id=”68″ sort=”random_posts” tdc_css=”eyJhbGwiOnsiZGlzcGxheSI6Im5vbmUifX0=”][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][td_block_ad_box spot_id="sidebar" spot_title="- Advertisement -" tdc_css="eyJhbGwiOnsiZGlzcGxheSI6Im5vbmUifX0="][td_block_6 category_id="" limit="1" custom_title="HOLIDAY RECIPES" header_color="#e91e63" td_filter_default_txt="All" tag_slug="" sort="random_posts" tdc_css="eyJhbGwiOnsiZGlzcGxheSI6Im5vbmUifX0="][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1" spot_title="- Advertisement -"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/3"][td_block_19 category_id=”” limit=”4″ custom_title=”TRAVEL & RECIPES” header_color=”#4db2ec” td_filter_default_txt=”All” sort=”random_posts” category_ids=”30,31″][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][td_block_19 category_id=”29″ limit=”4″ custom_title=”HEALTH & FITNESS” td_filter_default_txt=”All” sort=”random_posts”][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][td_block_10 category_id=”28″ limit=”3″ custom_title=”BUSINESS” td_filter_default_txt=”All” sort=”random_posts”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][td_block_big_grid_5 td_grid_style=”td-grid-style-6″ category_id=”” sort=”random_posts”][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1" spot_title="- Advertisement -"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Hi,
I have checked the main menu and there is set transparent background, but the header have set a background color ( also the header is separate from content, in this case the menu will not be set over the content ) ->
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/3kb0hTl0
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/K1FVK9QVzM
For sticky menu you can use this custom css
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/mbLrDl8iriSe
.tdc-header-wrap .td-affix{
background-color: #152d3f;
}
Set the code in theme panel> Custom code> Custom css
Thank you!
Hi,
You can try to add such a custom CSS code in Mobile theme from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/kcRaWEy4p
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Thanks, but is saying that it only works when you deativate tagdiv composer isn’t that a bit strange, because I thought that after the updates VC only works if you have tagdiv composer activated?
Thanks for the tips with the CSS.
Hi,
Regarding the issue, note that the old API plugin will not work anymore. You can use the new creative plugin for this purpose – https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/
After the 9.7 update many of the theme files were moved in the tagDiv composer, due to the new Envato requirements
– https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
As a consequence the child theme is quite limited now, only a few theme files can still be used in it ( functions.php and style.css ).
Also please make sure that you do not overwrite the theme when you make the update, please delete the current theme and only after that install the new version of theme.
Please make sure that all the settings are as in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Unfortunately, I can not say for sure if this issue will be fix in the next update, sorry!
If you want to use these options -> https://www.screencast.com/t/MT3LVFSh these will work only if you do not have the tagDiv Composer activate.
Using custom css, is no need to create two classes, you cna use only one to hide the content on specific device, for example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vyWBI5xHi and set the css code in Theme panel> Custom code> Advance css on device where you want to hide the content -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6WUT0Hu8y
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Now they aren’t white anymore, maybe you solved the problem. There was some CSS that made the paragraphs white when I checked previously, but I can’t say exactly from where it came.
There are too many CSS loading… what can I do to reduce the loading time. IT#s a theme problem…
I have changed the color code in td_legacy_main.css file and Works!!!
Thank you!!!
I bought this nice theme and installed it on gadget-freakz.com.
But I went from a high score to a very low so I did all the tutorials on this site to improve the speed.
but a lot of loading comes from the almost 1mb css file: td_legacy_main
is this needed? what does it do and can we improve or workaround this?
I can’t make the header manager work. Right now the main menu is solid, and the sticky menu is transparent. I would love it to be the other way around.
Here’s my website: https://kopenhagenkonsulting.com/
Can you help me with custom css?
Hi,
From what I can see it doesn’t fit there. There is a margin left set in WPBakery I believe, on this column – http://prntscr.com/nxfuj9 which pushes the element next to it down. Removing that margin left should align those two elements correctly
– http://prntscr.com/nxfv5d
Also I see there are negative margins set in WPBakery for that whole row
– http://prntscr.com/nxfwde
Those shouldn’t cause problems, just that it looks wider than the other rows.
The footer does not appear in a couple of pages, because of code entered in the theme panel custom CSS section – http://prntscr.com/nxfy7c
if you modify or remove that code it should appear.
Thanks
Hi,
Most of the theme files were moved into the tagdiv composer plugin as per the requirements of envato: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements.
We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Moving forward with such requirements, a child theme will only work with functions.php, and style.css as there are very few files left in the main theme as envato requires all functionality to be added through plugins.
If you are using child theme, you need to replace the child theme that you are using with the one that came with Newspaper v9.7.3, or you can edit the functions.php from 1001 to 11 and it should work: https://image.prntscr.com/image/LJgOPaseQeWx88hn-pSKGQ.png just make sure that you clear all cache after you make those changes.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
Hi,
If you want to change the color value from the root, you need to edit the td_legacy_main.css core file from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/44phap82H Also, you can try to disable the speed booster to avoid that delay.
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Thanks for your reply, but I want to use ‘hide on device’ option in Visual Composer. It’s weird that it doesn’t work. Will it be fixed in a update?
I can try it with CSS, but its not ideal. What would the css be if I make two classes. One that shows the row/element on desktop and tablet landscape, and one for everything below that resolution, like the options in VC?
We narrowed down how this issue occurs.
The Custom HTML Block in TagDiv Composer is stored in the database as a form of hashed code, like EtuvXkcz etc. However, the staging tools on our server take advantage of Apache mod_substitute and mod_headers in order to prepend the staging domain when we’re working on it, and strip it when we’re done.
Mod_substitute is able to trigger on content in the editor, so while we’re editing the pages, mod-substitute works its magic and prepends the staging domain so that our site is functional in staging.
However, mod_headers works off of information in the database and is unable to read the code that is stored there by the custom HTML blocks created in TagDiv Composer, so it is unable to then strip the staging domain out of our content.
In our use case, we write the entire site in custom HTML blocks, taking advantage of the speed and versatility of your theme to easily rearrange blocks while keeping load times to a minimum and customization to a maximum with custom HTML and CSS for most everything else (on top of your base CSS).
The way TagDiv Composer stores information in the database prevents database search tools and PHP can not be used to target the many links throughout our site.
A workaround for us is going through every section of code and manually changing all links to relative links. This is not an ideal workaround, but it is getting the job slowly but surely done.
Is there a way this kind of thing can be changed in the future to prevent hashed data being stored in the database instead of the code itself, or is there a better workaround you could recommend for us?
Hi,
Please try this custom css for remove the blurred from your website -> https://www.screencast.com/t/D70LARZUWh0 set the code in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css

.td-pb-span4 .td-ss-main-sidebar {
