Hi,
I’ve been trying to change the style of my links on single posts. i.e. I want my links to insert this code on the css section of the TagDiv Composer (bottom right corner of the left sidebar), but every time I hit the save button, changes are not respected, with the following code:
a {
color: black;
text-decoration: underline #fcc843;
}
a:hover {
background-color: #fcc843;
}
Also, I want to change the thickness of the underline, but unsuccessfully so far!
Thank you Catalin for your prompt reply.
I doubt there’s a problem with this plugin. The “WP Google Map Pro” is the most widely used Google Map-based plugin in the Envato inventory, and for many years!
NewsMag 4.7 is the active theme on my website: delrayhub.com. When I disable its style.css, the Google map on its home page DISPLAYS CORRECTLY!
A faulty CSS declaration within the NewMag’s style.css file seems to be causing the problem. In fact, some time ago we found that if I commented-out the following rule:
.td-pb-row .wpb_column {
position: relative;
}
from style.css, then the map displayed well. This time, however, that fix doesn’t seem to work.
I’m not a programer, so it is hard for me to figure this one out. I need help from you guys at TagDiv!
Please try again, Thank you so much!
The ad that is visible on that specific page has been added via TD composer. The header ad was injected via Theme panel. While i can hide things with CSS, i would like to remove it completely from specific pages..but the code as used above still displays the Theme injected ad in the header of the page. Please help
Hi,
Please check our documentation for how to using the tagDiv Composer Front-End Page Builder -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
You need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer click on the element that you want to hide, go to css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/e1pMHsTyCJMB you can chose on which displays to show/hide the elements -> https://www.screencast.com/t/rvZmyLPtqRU
Thank you!
Hi,
Here is talking about two different elements and the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to create a mix between them, sorry! If you want to add a new button over the single image element, you should create it yourself or another alternative, in this case, would be to use the button element under the single image and customize it with some cusotm CSS code. As a hint -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iqp8Uv3j
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Hi,
In order to remove the footer logo from mobile theme you can use this custom css
.td-footer-wrap .td-footer-logo{
display: none;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
In order to remove the “About Us” section please set this custom css in Theme panel>Mobile theme>Custom code>Custom css
.td-footer-wrap .td-footer-description {
display: none;
}
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/3kvF3IwD
Thank you!
Ok, but I have added some custom CSS, background image, text, and other adjustments to the theme will those be lost during the update?
Hello,
You can try adding this css code in your theme panel under custom code:
.td-post-template-1 .td-featured-image-rec{
float:right;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that your logo is big enough -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nOYgrlms -> https://www.screencast.com/t/SPCqEQCi -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HwJjOtco8
If you do not have a logo with that size, please use this custom css
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/Xe2HBiKkxsz7
.td-header-sp-logo .td-main-logo img {
margin-left: 0;
}
Set the code in Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try this custom css ->
.wp-block-embed{
height: -webkit-fill-available;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
you can add the form in a div element and give it a CSS positioning code like for example:
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
But there are multiple ways to center things with css:
https://medium.freecodecamp.org/how-to-center-things-with-style-in-css-dc87b7542689
Thank you!
Hi,
The lazyload from theme pane do not have anything to do with the slowly load of your header.
I see the problem there . It is happening because of the same 1 second opacity transition. Try to enter this code in the theme panel custom CSS section
.td-js-loaded .td-element-style {
transition: none!important;
-webkit-transition: none!important;
}
Then check if the same happens. The transition should be removed from all elements. Let me know.
Thank you!
Hi,
I checked your website and that background change seams to be only for a very short time if the page/post is not full load ( in that time is loading the css color for background ), this will not affect your website.
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that from “front page” you are referring to homepage, if is so then yes this one have a special class name .home
Also please check our documentation for how to Create custom code with the browser’s Inspector or the Live CSS Box -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-custom-code-in-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try this custom css
.home .td-footer-page {
display: none;
}
set this code in Newspaper>Theme Panel>Custom code>Custom css
Hope this will help better!
Thanks.
Quick question: is there a similar template in the cloud library for pages?
I tried to find it but didn’t see the right one.
It would be easier to directly modify a template for pages rather than modifying them with CSS.
And it would also probably improve the speed.
Still talking about http://www.coupdepoker.com
Thanks
After changing from the classic I get lots of amp error. And my website loads without CSS. What should I do?
Hi,
Yes those are usually the icons for social media, arrows, stars, user … a part of theme can be found in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/includes/less_files/font-icons.less also you can find those in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/font-newspaper.css
You can also check How to add an icon in menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/
Or if you want to set with tagDiv Composer some icons in a page -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6ZKtcsVkzhlf
Thank you!
Hi,
You can change this with a custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xO2xSBD6f3I7
.td-category-header .td-page-title {
text-transform: none;
}
Set the code in Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
Thanks!
Updated to 9.6.1. Then I installed tagdiv mobile themes but getting huge CSS issue:-https://www.screencast.com/t/LmwRpYj5
Dear Tagdiv, in the next few month we are moving to a new server company, what should I do with the pages, css & content I created with Newspaper theme..
Never did it before.. this is first time.. I am afraid going to crush it..
How is it possible to not have td-composer plugin rendering on every single post?
These jqueries seem to load on all the posts:
js_files_for_ace | https://www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/assets/external/ace/ace.js
js_files_for_ace_ext_language_tools | https://www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/assets/external/ace/ext-language_tools.js
js_files_for_ace_ext_searchbox | https://www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/assets/external/ace/ext-searchbox.js
js_files_for_live_css | https://www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/js/js_files_for_live_css.min.js
js_files_for_plugin_live_css | https://www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/js/js_files_for_plugin_live_css.min.js
and these styles
td-plugin-multi-purpose | https://www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-multi-purpose/style.css
td_live_css_frontend | https://www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/assets/css/td_live_css_frontend.css
I only need the td-composer to load on the home page and the archive pages.
Can this be done (to optimize for speed)?

Hello TagDiv,
I’m using your NewsMag theme for my website delrayhub.com. The home page has a Google map that’s loading incorrectly. The map displays as a static graphic, with non-clickable elements in it, instead of a live map.
Seems to be a CSS problem. When I try the page, without the style.css file, the map loads correctly.
Thank you for your help,
Lulio
