Here is talking about two different elements and the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to create a mix between them, sorry! If you want to add a new button over the single image element, you should create it yourself or another alternative, in this case, would be to use the button element under the single image and customize it with some cusotm CSS code. Hi,

The lazyload from theme pane do not have anything to do with the slowly load of your header.

I see the problem there . It is happening because of the same 1 second opacity transition. Try to enter this code in the theme panel custom CSS section

.td-js-loaded .td-element-style {
transition: none!important;
-webkit-transition: none!important;
}

Then check if the same happens. The transition should be removed from all elements. Let me know.

I think that from “front page” you are referring to homepage, if is so then yes this one have a special class name .home

Yes those are usually the icons for social media, arrows, stars, user … a part of theme can be found in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/includes/less_files/font-icons.less also you can find those in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/font-newspaper.css
