It was not yet centralized. I do not know if I understood well. I put the custom CSS and stayed that way

http://prntscr.com/asmzhk

/* INICIO Mostrar TOP Menu Mobile */

@media
(max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display:block!important;
}
.td-header-sp-top-menu{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display:block!important;

}
.td-header-sp-top-widget{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display:none!important;
}
}
/* FIM Mostrar Menu Mobile */

Hi,
As I understand this, you want to hide the ad on the homepage but have it display on any other pages. You can do this with a bit of css like so:
.home .InMargin_Top{
display:none!important
}

Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi,
You can use this css to center the top menu:
@media(max-width:767px){
.top-bar-style-1{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display: table;
}}

Thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately this information will not suffice. Our theme has 12 header styles to chose from so please specify which one you use and provide a link to your website so I can create the css code directly. Please note that there already are a few header styles with a centered menu: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
Thank you!

Hello Manfred,
1) Unfortunately the mega-menu was not designed to work on the mobile version. The menus are different and the mega-menu cannot work on the mobile menu.
2) The login widget cannot be added in the main menu so easy especially in the mobile version, but it can be activated in the top menu. Please provide a link to your site so I can provide the p[roper css code to have it display on mobile.
Thank you!

Hi,
Please provide a link to your site so I can try a few css tricks but I cannot promise anything since the theme has no support for this type of ad.
Thank you!

Hi

When I set “full post width” it displays well in desktop but in mobile devices it always shows very short formats in height… I need it to be centered in desktop and with square style in mobile devices. If float right or float left is selected it shows well in mobile devices but not centered in desktop.
This is very important for me to maintain a competitive CTR.

What css code could include to solve this?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.

Hi

Try this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css:

#td-header-menu .td_block_trending_now{
padding-bottom: 0;
}

I have spent hours of searching, but nothing worked. I need to center the main menu – as I understand, I have to do it through CSS. I used couple of codes, but any of them worked.

So, how do I center the main menu in Newspaper? Thanks.

Hi,

In order to add your city to the top menu you need to add this code:echo '<div class="city">Paris</div>'; in this file: http://screencast.com/t/QLxrD1aBbJ
The you can add this css in the theme panel -> custom css box:

.city{
display:inline;
margin-right:5px!important;
}

Hello,

The linked in solution provided will not work for the newspaper theme properly. Please add this code instead in td_module_single.php: http://screencast.com/t/nQ0Tj5O1

<a class="td-social-sharing-buttons td-social-linkedin" href="http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=' . urlencode(esc_url(get_permalink())) . '&title=' . htmlspecialchars(urlencode(html_entity_decode($this->title, ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8')), ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8') . '&source=' . urlencode(get_bloginfo('name')) . '" onclick="window.open(this.href, \'mywin\',\'left=50,top=50,width=600,height=350,toolbar=0\'); return false;"><i class="fa fa-linkedin"></i></a>

I added a font awesome linked in icon so you need to install and activate ‘font awesome 4 menus’ and then use this css code in the theme panel – custom css box:

.td-social-linkedin{
margin-left:8px;
background-color:
#006699!important;;
}

Hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hi

To add trending now block on search page you need to edit search.php file and insert block’s shortcode like here: http://screencast.com/t/ls8yiAI9InRK

Also I’ve used this css to add a margin between the menu and the block:
http://screencast.com/t/SKubTMMSS

.search .td-header-menu-wrap-full{
height: 48px;
margin-bottom: 20px;
}

Hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi,
Css positioning cannot move one html element inside another container. You can position it absolutely if you want, but it will still have to be inside the specific container you want it to be in, this being the main menu container. I see the dropdown is added with a raw html code so you can probably ad it inside this file: http://screencast.com/t/FiNFLqodwi
You can create a div element and assign a custom class to it so you can later apply css for positioning.
If this is too difficult for you, we suggest hiring some help with it as we can only guide you in the right path. We cannot offer any customization services at the moment.
Thank you!

Hi Andrei,

Thanks for your help with this. However my desired outcome is still a bit different.
What I want is to have my image instead of the rest of the header.

In this case you still have the logo + the ad bar above that. What I want is:

Header image (the one I want to add myself)
Navigation
Content

So there should not be anything else than the image in the header. I can manage the html / css edits, but hope you can point to what I should remove in that case to make sure it is not with the headerlogo etc.

Hi,

I’ve just set up the child theme for Newspaper version 6.7.1 but getting an issue where the default sidebar now appears in the footer.

This is despite the fact that I have yet to make any changes in the Child Theme…I have literally set it up as I normally would do with just a style.css to check it works and got this result. I then used the child files from the latest download on Theme Forest and get the same result.

Any ideas?

Hi

The code must be added in theme panel > custom code > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/HZPGkhBRXFUn Make sure you clear the cache memory after the code it’s added then test again.

Thanks!

Thanks for your speedy reply. I’m not a coding expert by any means, but do you think this could be as easy a solution as using CSS positioning?

Hi

The theme it’s tested and works fine on Chrome. For Internet explorer try to use this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css:

.td-paragraph-padding-2{
display: block;
}

Thanks!

Hi

Your goal can be achieved only by editing the code. You need to edit the file corresponding with the header style used and insert a new container which will contain your image. Here is an example for header style 1: http://screencast.com/t/mZEAIPcer38lhttp://screencast.com/t/tnMMRgKX

For image’s layout I’ve used this css:

.custom-img img{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}

This is just a basic example but you can customize header’s layout as you want by switching the elements position and changing theirs style.
Note that this task require basic html/css coding skills and some tests in order to achieve the desired rezult. We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard my advice is look for someone who can help you or hire a freelancer to do it for you.

Thanks!
