Blocks don’t have a numbered pagination. Only ajax pagination is used for the reasons I mentioned above. If they would have a numbered pagination, that would be done with ajax as well probably.
Only the latest articles section, category pages, tag pages etc have pagination with numbers.
Blocks and grids are the main elements to display posts. Some users prefer simpler blog like pages like this demo page containing only the latest articles section

Hi,
1. Maybe you mean the breadcrumbs? – https://www.screencast.com/t/FlefA6Ysj1V
If that is the case and you want to color them differently, I could give you a code. Something like this maybe – https://www.screencast.com/t/y3giLh8v7NL
The code can be entered in Theme panel->Custom code (CSS section).
.entry-crumbs a,
.td-bred-no-url-last {
color: red;
}
If you want to modify the font or font properties this can be done in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QuivQEug
2. An author role would be suited for that. Authors can create and publish posts having access to the post settings. No user role other than the admin have access to the theme panel.
Check some guides in the matter however, for a better understanding of all the roles. Then make a decision
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/wordpress-user-roles-and-permissions/
– https://wpsmackdown.com/lexicon/wordpress-user-roles/
3. Every social can be customized with your own accounts. For example social links in the top bar and footer correspond to the account links you enter in the Theme panel->Social networks section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hSkuCFvxjxq
Remove the demo links and enter your own.
The social counter plugin can also be customized with your own data

I have a sticky menu set up that I want with a black background, white text and orange when hovered over. I selected the gadget demo theme so the hover over colour is black and basically I cant find a way to change it from black. I go to the theme panel, theme colours and change the active and hover colour but it has no effect. I looked all through and cant find where it specifys the menu hover colour is black. I’m not talking about a hover over box I mean the actual text changes colour to black and I need it orange. Anyone know where the option is?
I would attach a screen shot as my site isnt live yet but theres not an option too.
After reading through the forums I’ve used the process to drag / drop a new element to delete it and it’s still there. I’ve checked all my settings in WP as previously advised and it’s still there.
I’ve also sent a note off to the support team because I have other issues I’ve not been able to resolve.
One thought… I installed one of your demo theme’s thinking it would help get me started :(( are they built using tagdiv or the previous composer? I saw in your announcement from a year ago that a conversion was needed.
Could it be something that dull causing my issues?
Help!
Omg, it’s from demo ((
Please show me how you finde? (I have inspected your website source and I saw that your date is hidden.)
Hello Catalin,
I just checked this on one of your demo-websites and the bug happens there, too. So it’s definetly a bug in Newspaper and not on our side.
See here:

Greetings,

Hi,
The empty page template does not display the entire header, there would be no menu to hide there with a code, or make visible. You can use a hero element but there will be no header with the empty template.
Maybe the menu overlay template is what you are looking for
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yqg7JXgbl
A demo using that page template – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_spa/
Thanks
Recently I purchased Newspaper theme and installed default demo with content. But later on I notice that I cant find out where to modify the last section (Latest Article) at the bottom of the page. I have tried out all the possible setting in Appearance > Widget and “Edit with TD Composer” but still no lucks.
Could you please point out where should I access to make changes for the last section? Thanks in advance.
Hello,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for this, sorry! You can check our demo and you will see that the menu does not remain underlined as you wish because this functionality does not exist in our theme, sorry!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Ads cannot be disabled on specific posts or pages. Once entered in the theme panel ad spots they will be displayed at all times. They can only be disabled by device
– https://www.screencast.com/t/tMZQsVie
If you require more advanced ad options, many users recommend the Adrotate plugin. Based on user feedback this works with the theme, more about it here if you want to take a look
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
– https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/
The mobile menu will be accessible when the page is fully loaded. So if the page takes a long time to load, the menu may not respond. Our demo would be for demo purposes, we will try to optimize it more however.
Thanks
Hi,
That is specific to the Craft demo, an image is used as a background of the block titles. These would be some similar topics, they mention how to change it or remove it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-achieve-this-effect/
Placing an image as a block title background is not a theme option, but that demo contains design that allows this.
Thanks
Hi,
Installing a demo will import it’s specific theme panel settings, custom design etc. Unless you made an export of the theme panel settings or a general website backup, there would be no way to return the previous settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Glad you could sort it out in the end.
Hi,
The best way would be to simply install the demo
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
This will import theme panel settings and custom design specific to the demo. If you install it with demo content, the homepage will be provided.
If you do not want to install the demo, you could try to re-create. We have no guide for that at the moment however. These would be some similar topics
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/getting-started-from-demo-best-practises/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wish-about-the-demo/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/is-it-possible-to-change-the-website-demo-from-one-to-another/
If you have any problems or this is not what you meant, please provide some more details about what exactly is not working or if you are not sure of something, and I will help you.
Thanks
Hi,
Stretched blocks will use the same thumbnail as non-stretched blocks. So regenerating the thumbnails would have no result in quality. We recommend that either full grids are used when full with is needed
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Or flex blocks (there are many more to come in future updates)
These flex blocks allow you to choose thumbnails size, so the quality would be more proportional to your original images
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5Ucr6Hwkk
This demo homepage is built using only flex blocks for example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/
Thanks
Hi,
No, those are predefined blocks. That block will always look like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-24/
The 1 column look will be the mobile look. What you could do is to hide the block on mobile, and display block 15 instead if that is what you want.
The tagDiv composer allows blocks to be removed per viewport. Check the CSS tab of the block, while selecting your desired viewport
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PduFaZaQn43
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1UJ6WiPGcqXl
So for example hide block 24 on mobile, and block 15 for desktop and the other devices (to display it only on mobile).
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe something like the theme Dental demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_dentist/
There the menus are links to section of the page. More about that in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/one-page-site/
Hi Team,
I lost all my theme settings after accidentally installing a demo theme, how can I retrieve my old theme settings?
I installed a demo again and it’s working now
Hi,
That would be how CSS works, in cascade. For example in the header menu, the initial background color is white, also the default underline color is the blue color. The settings you made in the theme panel apply over these initial default colors
– https://www.screencast.com/t/10R6rLaE2mEE
So those will be loaded first and then the ones in the theme panel. Depending on website loading speed the effect may be noticeable or not. Try to install a caching plugin if you don’t have one, for better loading speed. We recommend the WP Super Cache.
I could also show you how to remove the initial colors if you should consider that.
Note that this is also somewhat browser dependent, note the difference between loading on Chrome and Firefox.
That block should display an excerpt, like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-2/
Check your settings for module 2 – https://www.screencast.com/t/VOeieHDugmfl
Check in the tagDiv composer as well – https://www.screencast.com/t/4tTsRZSXKjQ7
Check if you entered something in the manual excerpt for the posts, that will replace the default excerpts
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2F1VB9qTQC
Hi,
There are many image elements in the tagDiv composer, choose the one you want, there are also title and text elements. Be sure to check multi-purpose elements as well.
For example you could use a title over image – http://prntscr.com/k5118v Set an image and a title of your choosing, and style theme with the available options.
Or if you want the page to display a post, use the homepage post element
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-one-top-post/
You can choose from which category the post will be shown, also the sorting.
Thanks
Hi,
1. There must a module selected, for you it is module 15 from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EifsPOsIve
If you want to keep using a blog homepage and change the module, you can do it there. Change the module and the blog homepage should reflect the changes. Maybe clear your cache if there are no changes, to refresh the page.
2. If you want the same in your category page, select the same module. Each category template can has a module section option as in the screenshots I provided above. Select module 15 for the same result. Also if you don’t want a category page top grid, disable it like in this example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xWwvLvmwEQ8D
3. You can keep using a blog homepage, there will be no problem.
4. Module 15 shows the whole content of a post. This is different from module 18 you use for that category page
Module 15 – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-15-layout/
Module 18 – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-18-layout/
So if you want the same result for the category page, modify it accordingly.
Module 15 does not require a featured image, it shows the whole content of a post, module 18 needs a featured image to create a thumbnail
– https://www.screencast.com/t/FtQpH8on
The images are shown in your homepage are not thumbnails, they are images in the post content. Almost all other modules require a featured image to be set for the post.
5. Please change the category page module to module 15 for the same results. Module 15 will show the whole post content as I mentioned above. There are different settings for the blog page and category pages, not a global module selection. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.
6. I don’t know what you are referring to, provide more details about it. What cloning is that exactly?
Thanks
Hello,
It is possible to have something like that (with the background ad going above the header?

Thank you
Is it possible to use a logo larger than the standard 272×90 px? I just purchased Newspaper, tried several Demo Installs, and my wide, landscape-oriented logo looks like crap. Edit the CSS somewhere?
Hi
I would like to get beautiful headers on pages, just like we can do on posts.
That would be for instance to have featured image + Title in it ( for instance : https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_medicine/td-post-fda-approves-new-treatment-for-inhalation-anthrax/ with full width image)
How can i do ?
Hi,
@hari The inline single image is a different element than a block. These are blocks
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
The inline single image is a multi-purpose element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/LdQxMnMIbm4
So an inline image element cannot be inserted in a block element. Please correct me if needed and also provide more details if possible, for a better understanding.
