There is some styling added by the demo you have installed, for the top bar. That is why they appear like that. I could give you a code to make the top bar display normally, in it’s initial position

Then you can set a background color if you wish, similar to the one you have on the header or different

This is the code you must enter in Theme panel->Custom code->Custom CSS section

Hello,

The code you are using only applies to header style 7. Please use header style 7 for that code to work. Also you use the gadgets demo which also applies style to the header. Please provide a link to your site so we can inspect the code.

1. I see you have installed the black theme demo. Note that the demos consist of custom design as well. A custom stylesheet will be imported, when there is no theme panel option to be used.
The default background can be set like this

But the demo uses custom design instead of the default background. The general color is defined in the demo stylesheet

So you could change it there if that is what you need.

2. Please check the elements present on the page. Edit the page with the tagDiv composer and inspect it. The page will not display extra elements, only what is placed in it.

Also I see there are some thumbnail issues, please regenerate the thumbnails

I don’t quite understand what you are doing, what are you copying. The post loop you are referring to would be the Latest articles section, this will be displayed in the bottom of the page when the required template is selected for the page

So simply select this page template for the pages you wish, new pages or previously created. Then update the page and the post loop will appear.
The demos are created with tagDiv composer. The theme does not have any Under construction feature, that could be added by a plugin you have.
Please correct me if I misunderstand the issue.
