Hi,
I’ve used Block 2 on Homepage for a category and changed the Excerpt on all modules to Word —> Content length 20. (I’m using Thai) 
It turns out that on the homepage, the post shows all the content, not just 20 words.
When I tried changing from Word —> Letters, it barely shows any content description and the post title.
How can I fix this? I just want the Homepage block to be like yours in the demo here —>
Please tell me how to configure. Many thanks in advance!

Love the new features on this theme. I have a few questions.
1. I use a lot of video that is not from the normal sites like Vimeo, YouTube, etc. I use brightcove and the like. Can I place the video in the same place as this YouTube video on this page? http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/td-post-shooting-with-the-gopro-hero-action-sports/
2. Is the theme compatible with buddy press?
3. Am I over looking the full width not boxed example?
4. Mobile sidebar? Since the sidebar is often placed at the bottom of the articles on mobile, does this theme have the ability to show a different sidebar for mobile?
The top menu is not floating well while we browse on the bottom of the site. When we go to top it is working fine.

I don’t think there is a “tab widget” with Newspaper ? I don’t see one, nor in the demo?
There might be something in Visual Composer, where you can add something.
You can also use the WooDojo plugin to add a tab widget, but I’ve not yet actually tried this (it’s on my to do list …). 🙂

I went with the default Newsmag Theme and originally it was showing the same layout as the demo. Now it is configured weird and not sure what is going on. In addition to that I am not sure how to control posts with specific categories. If anyone has advise or tips please advise.

I will try to explain again: i dont want to click, to see the sub-itens in MENU…i want to rollover, to see this sub-itens.
The click on menu itens is default in this theme. You can test it at the demo.

Unfortunately theme doesn’t have an option to have different header on category page, you will need custom work for that. We would have gladly made it for you but we work very hard on the updates and features for all the users, sorry for this.

It is not an easy task to do that for each category and if you don’t have basic php/html/css experience I suggest that you hire a professional developer to make this custom modification for you.
After you install the Demo Data you can import 6 different styles (Stacks).

I was looking to actually have each category feel like they are separate sites. So the Logo should also change at the top of the page. Is this possible? The Demo makes it seem like it is all on one wordpress install, but is that the case or are they all separate installs on the Demo?

Unfortunately this is full width(1021px) that you can use the slider: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/slider/ You will need custom modifications for that and it is not an easy task. You can get someone to help you with this as unfortunately we cannot offer custom work because we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support.

When you use background the features image doesn’t display at full width anyway, so please try to use post template 3, it has a big image and work fine with background: http://screencast.com/t/fMeXbRdR

I think so too. Sahifa has issues, especially when viewing it with javascript disabled. None of the images appear if javascript is disabled!
I was initially planning to go for Newsmag, but I found that if the resolution is very, very high, the demo version of the theme goes haywire. In the sense, the second row of the main section organizes itself at the end of the first row, instead of beside it. So I decided to go for Newspaper instead. It costs about $10 more, but it is worth the price, especially with Newspaper 5 due in just a month or two.
I can say that I am actually happy with the theme I purchased, thanks to Tagdiv.
I think Newsmag looks much nicer than Sahifa, personally. 🙂
They have lots of issues, too, like their menu falls behind the video on video demo pages.

The site doesn’t have a 3 column layout by default, as far as I know, nor do I recall seeing that in the theme demos, so it looks like you’re asking it do something it’s not designed to do out of the box.
However, as many have already mentioned, *you* can setup the home page using the Visual Composer to create three columns using the column creator, which has already been shown to you as in this example

I have not uploaded any background-image (Theme panel -> BACKGROUND). And I’m not able to find a place to explicitly turn off background-image for the entire site, I thought it was turned off if no background image was uploaded to the Theme panel.
For the page itselves, I am using the “Homepage – bg – no article list” setting (have tried others too, but as I said with the same result). When I install the Theme locally (xampp) with the demo-content, I see the page “td_d_slug_4” has achieved the result I want – and it uses the “Homepage – bg + with article list” (using this on my site does not work either).
I must be missing some information here 🙂 Hope you are able to help me further

Unfortunately there is no option to simply switch theme to a dark version. But from Theme Colors you can change to a dark color different parts of the theme and general theme colors: http://screencast.com/t/oNonPS4YEz Of course you can use also css code to reach to the desired result.

I´m trying to set the theme. What i want is something similar to the default demo homepage, but with some changes. I need to know if it´s possible to make what i need.
I´ve been trying to do it with block 2 and block 3, but when i select a category and set 2 posts, the blocks set the posts horizontally, not vertically. Also I don´t see an offset option.
I need help please.
