Hello,
Do you mean because you use the point review system. I’ve tested from our demo and work with points review.
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/sony-tablet-p-just-went-on-sale-in-the-uk/
You have installed the SEO by Yoast plugin? We will inspect your issue, to not be a general issue.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
I’ve tested on Iphone and works fine. I don’t have a Lumia to test the theme. Please could you check if our demo is the same on your Lumia phone http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Could be this issue only with that phones with Windows. You have tried your site on other smartphones?
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
DO you use some plugins? C9ould be a conflict from one. On our demo the rich snippets works fine. Please deactivate some plugins and test again http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets
Also please try with SEO by Yoast plugin to have it installed and activated.
Thanks
Hello,
Great! Please feel free to contact us anytime!
Have a nice day!
In contact form 7 block the title doesn’t work, as shown on demo page: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/contact/
(the title should be eg. “LEAVE US A MESSAGE”)
Thanks Marius for all your help. 🙂
Everything is now removed and working again.
Would have loved to use the theme though

Hello,
@livingsmarttv
Most of your validation errors come from this text widget where you entered html by hand & has to be encoded
http://screencast.com/t/JfrsZRXbp
@MRanki
the errors that we have on our demo are because of the speed booster plugin.. 🙂 See here we have a problem… The validator expects that we put the styles at the beginning of the html in the head section BUT google pagespeed expects it to be at the end of the page. So we went with google pagespeed. Should we get a lower score but validate 100% I do not know yet. Anyway the stock theme does validate HTML5 100%.

Hello,
Please go to Theme – Option on Ad section and delete the spot.
Also you can read here some tips about how the theme work. http://import.tagdiv.com/newspaper/doc/
Same problem here… Even the theme demo has Errors on W3 validation.
Hi again
After installing Newspaper at our site, I ran it through GTmetrix to check the site.
I’m a little surpriced to see that there’s two “high priority” problems regarding images, as I got the impression from your demo, that you were quite focused on handling images.
As you can see here, I’d like to solve the two trop problems – specifying image dimensions and serving scaled images instead of loading a huge image and the just resizing the look on screen:

Can you please talk a little about these two problems? 🙂
Hi,
I have been testing the template with buddypress and have found the following concerns and am providing this data for your information and to be aware with.
When having the wordpress “Anyone can register for this site” unchecked under settings but using your login from the top right like in demo, there seems to be an issue because it bypasses and allows users to register. Also, when you use the register form in your login template like the top right on demo, it does not recognize the register form for buddypress. How can I have this register link point to the proper registration for buddypress if possible? And would you be fixing the security bypass for the wordpress “Anyone can register for this site” unchecked option?
Thank you all !
Thanks, Marius,
I have removed the menus,
But the demo ads are still there.
How can they be removed please?
Hello,
You can delete the demo data from your site, just delete the demo posts from Posts, delete the menu from Appearance -> Menus and also the homepage from Pages. All this not depend of which theme you have activated.
If you want you can give us access to your WP and we will setup the theme for you. Send via email at contact@tagdiv.com
Also please be sure you have a backup of you (site files and database)
Thanks for the message!
Thanks, Christopher
for the helpful list.
I will stay away from removing anything from the root.
Another thing, I still have the demo on a live site, can I
activate the theme (with the demo part on it)
or do I have to uninstall everything first and then
reinstall the theme to make it work.
Thanks
Note the TagDiv demo does *not* have Google Ads running. This impacts the PageSpeed rating in positive way. Any site running Google Ads will get about a 5-8 point hit which is a “false positive” on error.
We do need “async” mode ads, though, as a priority.

Hi Radu,
Thank you for the instructions, they are helpful.
I have actually figured that one out and removed the menu.
The problem was I had a webdesigner and I selected he Newspaper template and he was supposed to put it on my established site and do a migration to a new url.
Unfortunately that guy got to busy and quit on me and I was stuck trying to do it all by myself.
I have now gotten my menu back but there is still one problem with my original theme
and the header upload in wordpress.
If I upload a new header (same size, supported format) I am getting now a message like this:
Warning: Division by zero in /home/freestu/public_html/wp-admin/custom-header.php on line 841
Warning: imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions in /home/freestu/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 1288
Warning: imageantialias() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/freestu/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-gd.php on line 256
Warning: imagecopyresampled() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/freestu/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-gd.php on line 258
Image could not be processed. Please go back and try again
I am not sure if this relates to the demo install or any of the plugins that came with thenewspaper and that I had installed.
I guess the only way to find out is to go back and restore my site from last’s backup?
Thanks
Hi Simmons,
Thanks for the reply.
Good advice about the demo install. Wish I had known that beforehand.
The site is actually established.
I figured out the menu and pages. There is just a header problem now.
But since I have a backup from last Sunday, I will try to restore.
@Angie – i cannot verify anything on your site now.
The demo makes this:
1. a menu – you can delete that from wp-admin -> navigation
2. 10 posts – go to wpadmin and delete them
3. a page – in wp-admin -> pages – sort them by date and delete it
That’s all the demo is doing. We plan to improve the theme in the future to also allow uninstall of the demo.
Also if you can’t use the theme please contact me at contact@tagdiv.com (include a link to this post)
Best bet is to delete all the files and then replace all content from a backup; or remove everything and do a CLEAN install of WP. Generally you never install “demo” content over a live site — as demo content with WP is intended for blank sites to fill in content for development and will “usually” break an existing site/content since it’s dumping in content which is essentially “placeholder” material for you to edit as a starting point as needed, so hopefully if you’re just starting out, then you start from scratch with whatever theme you want to use.
Not sure that helped. I was here looking up something else. I’m not part of the support team.
One trick is simply remove the content from the location you uploaded it to … then switch back to one of WP’s default themes like twenty twelve. Turn off all the plugins that came with Newspaper. If your site doesn’t work with the normal WP theme, then you probably need to do complete clean install. (It’s happened to me … learning experience.)
