1. From what I understand, you hid the author’s name from the posts, but it appears in the blocks, right?
To hide the author name on the blocks you need to select each block and search by author in Layout tab => https://prnt.sc/10cw1qd and set it to hidden => https://prnt.sc/10cw38k
2. Unfortunately, on the blocks you can’t reduce the space between ARTICLE TITLES, only for flex blocks you can change.

Hope you are well. I would like to display some secondary information on the front-page blocks, listings and Post. The text is simple, reading “10 Points” or “20 Points” [etc] and would be perfectly suited for WordPress Tags but a look at the forum suggests Tags are not possible within FlexBlocks (I am using both Flex Block 5 & Block 5).
As an alternative I did think to use the Subtitle on the relevant Posts, which is good for displaying the secondary information below the title but there doesn’t appear to be an option to display the post Subtitle within Blocks or Post Listings. Next step would be changing PHP and templates but before I do could you suggest an alternative/better solution..?

The Flex Block settings are divided into 5 tabs: General, Filter, Layout, Style, and CSS. However, don’t confuse the Flex Blocks with the Flex Big Grids as they have a different layout.
The Posts Loops settings are divided into 4 tabs: General, Layout, Style, and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the options for pagination of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbered and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).

Thanks Anamaria! Your advice allowed me to re-design the page to get the images right using flex blocks, but now I’m wondering if there’s a way to add the zoom effect on hover/mouseover on the featured images?
It a standard feature on the big blocks, but the flex blocks don’t seem to have the option at all, only colour related options.

Preload Largest Contentful Paint image, and it’s linked to the biggest image above the fold.
Is there something we can do to preload this image? It comes from a flex block…

Hi,
I was thinking more like the movement of a Big Grid Flex element but for a Flex Block. It looks like it zooms into the picture.
Also we are having another issue. When someone hovers over the article the title hover colour goes off even when the cursor isn’t over the title.

On the blocks that you use you can’t set the image size on 16:9. You can try to use the flex blocks which have the option to adjust the image size => https://www.screencast.com/t/sMBfMtyRW where you can set the height and width to have the 16:9.

I’m trying to copy this template that seems to me made with newspaper.

It seems to me that there are 2 column rows with “Flex Block 1” on the first column and “Flex Block 2” on the second. At the end there is a paging control. In my case even using the Post Loop instead of the Flex Block page/2 is empty. However I can’t add the pagination control centered with respect to the 2 columns.
If I could, I would also like to know how the categories menu above was done. With a “Header main menu” linked to a wordpress menu? So for each category I have to make a template linked to a wordpress menu?

We have a lot of big grid and big grid flex styles, so you can use whatever style fits for what you need. The differences between them are some settings.
Unfortunately, you can not change the blocks style, but you can choose which one is the best for you.

Hello my dears!
I have a question about changing a featured image in the single template. Round pictures can be seen in the flex block 1 (xs-small 150×0) – something like this would be ideal for logos on a custom template.
Logo on the left, next to the title of the article and below the sub-title
How can I reduce such a featured image and display it in round shape? I found rounded corners in the search function. But is that also possible completely? With CSS?

1. Is possible to some elements on the homepage that are prevent the fonts to load, some times is fixed if you set an icon with tagDiv Composer over the menu.
2. That is a plugin conflict usually this situation appear when you use cloud templates and Bakery. We recommend to use only one of theme and disable the odor one. Usually we recommend to use tagdiv cloud library.
3. To display in category page only posts from that category, you need to edit it with tagDiv Composer select the flex block and in filter tab set the filter for current category -> https://i.imgur.com/4gZMXVV.png

Unfortunately, for posts loop, you can’t apply filters to sort. The posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.

if I create a template category with 2 “Flex” post blocks, with an ADS in the middle, how can I manage the pagination?
If I set up the first Flex post block without pagination, and the second Flex post block (with offset) with pagination, how is pagination handled?
Does it work correctly only if I set “Load more button” or “infinite load”? If I set “next prev ajax” does it work?

I use Newspaper Theme. I would like to show list of pots for one Category, I’ve usded Post Loop Element. But it shows posts of all categories. With Flex Block I can choose category in Filter, mais I cannot do that with Post Loop Element. What should I do to set filter for one Category with Post Loop?

It is wrong to write offset -10, you need to write there a positive value for example 10.
Also, it is a bit tricky to use 2 different posts loop. The problem there is the pagination if you will use 2 posts loop, maybe you could use the button load more for example.
I recommend you to use a flex block, so they have a tab Filter where you can select to display posts only from a category dynamically: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

I have a “Tag Template” with “flex block 5”. How can I show only tags from current tag?
Let’s say I have a link like this: domain.xy/tag/blub – I wanne show only Posts with the current “blub” Tag.
There is the same with category but there you have “current category”. How can I show only Post with the current tags?

1. Post ID filter => add posts by IDs
2. Category filter => choose a category from which to display posts
3. Multiple taxonomies filter => choose multiple categories from which to display posts
4. Filter by tag slug => add posts by category name
5. Multiple authors filter => specify ID authors from which to display posts
6. Post Type => specify post type, for example if you have custom posts
7. Sort order => you can choose in which order you want to display posts
