Hi there,
I’m using Flex Block 1 on my homepage (Travel pro template). All of a sudden the border around the text does not fit. It’s about a pixel to high. I can’t remember changing anything. I can’t find the settings to fix it. It ‘s on all the different flex blocks I use. Can you help me out?

Hi Calin,
Hope you are doing well.
Please take a look here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/GhaXdDSixM4Cibjq8
The last post is not displaying. I tried to delete this element and replace is with another element but one or more posts in the other element was not displaying the same way.

Moreover, how can I make the font size bigger in the Big Flex 6, and the background of the title to be more “full” or taking bigger space, like here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/3duZAVAcA6NQPj4q9

Hi TagDiv Team,
I want to replicate the latest news from https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_covid19_news_pro/

I couldnt find any module to do it. We search in blocks and big grid flex, but we couldnt find it. Do I have to use cloud to import it?

PD: Cloud Manager is showing this error: Invalid reply from server endpoint

Hi chellofr,
If you are using a flex block then you can filter it using our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ you can use tagDiv Composer and check the filter tab -> https://i.imgur.com/2zOU80z.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello,
I wish I had known how to make the filter by tag in Flex Block 1 display alphabetically and ideally only display the tags included in the articles displayed ?
Thank you

In the Flex box 1 element, when we try to use filter to select the posts to show the hero slider on homepage doesn’t work and we don’t see anything anymore.

Please let us know why the filter is not working and how to fix it.

Hi,

do you think it’s possible to create a “Big grid Flex 6” design with two other modules ? Maybe for exemple with Big grid flex 4 and an other one ? Any idea ?

Thank you

Kind regards

Hi everyone, I’ve an issue with the function Sort by popular (all time). I’ve a Flex Box 1 in which I’d like there were posts most viewed all time. I’ve set “Sort by popular (all time)”, but everytime I open my website (tomorrownews.it) I see the posts in this Flex Box 1 in casual order. How can I resolve this issue? The ajax view count and the 7days post counting have already been actived. Thanks , Marco

Hello Team

I’ve made a block which is supposed to show the most popular post in last 7 days. I’ve chosen Flex Block 1 and in “Filter – Sort order” options I chose “Popular (last 7 days) – theme counter (enable from panel)”. And the block shows nothing although there are some published posts on my site. How can I fix that?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I’d like to edit the contents of the expandable hamburger menu in the mobile menu. Presently it displays the categories displayed in my header flex menu. But I would like the expanded menu on mobile to display more pages from the site. Also I’ve changed the background colour of the expanded menu but it is darker than expected. I’ve used a template as the basis for the site, so some of the options in the Theme panel don’t display. Thanks

Hi ladof,
I think that you set an author using the plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/AXQGvf9.jpg only the normal author can be set using the flex block with tagDiv Composer, the authors set with plugin, maybe it can be edited using the the settings from that plugin or using css.
Thank you!

Hi,
if you are using a standard demo, then you can use a different header style, that display the logo on full size, like header style 10 -> https://i.imgur.com/YEbi3O3.png also you can use the theme panel settings to enable/disable the author from blocks -> https://i.imgur.com/uYTyFLh.png and inside the posts -> https://i.imgur.com/sRXQ11U.png these settings are only for standard templates.
If you are using a pro demo, then you can make these changings using tagdiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/nkAtwWq.png select the logo and set the width you want to have -> https://i.imgur.com/bHADb17.jpg also you can drag the logo in a new row -> https://i.imgur.com/VvDnPQh.jpg also you can select the flex blocks from where you can remove the author -> https://i.imgur.com/iBfDoOs.jpg
Hope this will help you!

The excerpt will be display only on blocks that have the excerpt, for example if you use a flex block, you can edit it with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/jWYjCfE.png -> https://i.imgur.com/q8d2w7Q.png
The excerpt will not be display inside the post article, sorry!
Thank you!

Calin

Hi dimitrisv, I just checked again the above code and there you have a specific post that you want to remove, now the problem is like this, that post will be remove but on a different article that post will still be removed and will appear other posts that will be duplicate.
Also I think that you are using the Newspaper theme not Newsmag, if so, then you can use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer and on flex block in filter tab set the settings you want -> https://i.imgur.com/wroFO5X.png
Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

In the flex block options, you can display “modified date” below the article title by turning on the “modified date” option in TD composer.

The words “modified date: ___Oct 13, 2020 (the date)____” appears on the front end. Is there any way to change the words to “updated on” instead of “modified date” below the article titles?

Thanks

I want to change the colors for each of the category names for Big Grid Flex 2. I want the 5 segments to have a different background colour for their category name. Can I get a css code to help with it since the option is not available in the theme panel.
Or is it something you can do for me

The WPBakery is a builder that we provide for users that do not want to use our theme builder (TD Composer) and cloud templates. Now the flex elements are from tagDiv Composer and that is way you can not use the WPBakery for Big Flex Grid Layout.

If I understand correctly you want to use the child theme, if is so then you need to know that you can use only the standard templates for this, you can check more in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thank you!

Hi! I think it is the WPBakery plugin. May I know how why wpbakery doesn’t support Big Flex Grid Layout? I can’t find that element on it.

Apart from that, I copied header.php and footer.php from the parent theme and added my code but it doesn’t seem to be showing.

Will do. Yet the difficulty we are facing is actually targeting the right control. Is it please possible to point the documentation in order to avoid any errors?

Hi,
As I can see the option is working correctly, you set to display for title 75 words and for excerpt 50 words -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
When you use the zoom you only change the page dimension and the flex element is adjusting to it.
Thank you!

Hello !

1. Only the newer, PRO Demos have flex blocks, this is a new feature. The old blocks do not offer this option.

2. Please make sure that you have accomplished all the system requirements as in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Thank you !
