Hi,

Unfortunately there is no header in tagDiv Cloud Library how you need, but you can achieve something similar with that, but you’ll need to play a little with header manager and the elements options.

I looked at the header manager. I couldn’t find a template in the cloud that provided a vertical menu nor a two column configuration.. Plus I need to up to 8 titles with there corresponding text to exchange the content per title on the same page.

Do you have an example that I look at?

The site is in development stages.. The https in that setup for the site. http://ijjcoin.com the page is Key Features.

I can’t make the header manager work. Right now the main menu is solid, and the sticky menu is transparent. I would love it to be the other way around.

Here’s my website: https://kopenhagenkonsulting.com/

Can you help me with custom css?

Hi,

You can achieve something similar using the header manager -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/ also our developers team is working to new features, maybe this will be one of them.

Thank you!

Second time that I have tried to update to the latest version of Newspaper. It has been hell. After changing settings in my PHP I was able to upload the theme successfully. I had deleted the old Newspaper theme files, even went into file manager and deleted some old files from there. I renamed the themes folder and got a bunch of error messages. I renamed the Plug-ins folder with no success. Otherwise I just get a blank white screen. I currently have another theme running just so there is something to look at, but it’s not pretty. I activated the Debug file and got this in the log file:

28-May-2019 01:35:32 UTC] PHP Warning: require_once(header/ads.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vzbujfc1chle/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/header-style-4.php on line 27

This is what shows up on the home page with the Debug file active:

Warning: require_once(header/ads.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vzbujfc1chle/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/header-style-4.php on line 27

The site is experiencing technical difficulties.

I also got this message, but I cannot remember where it came from as I have been going crazy researching and changing settings for many hours:

[27-May-2019 13:25:42 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77845176 bytes) in /home/vzbujfc1chle/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/rules.php on line 1601

I have uploaded the theme 3 times. The third time I did it via FTP and nothing has changed.

I have run out of search options on Google in trying to find a solution. I did a search in this forum with not much luck.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

1)You need to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area. The code is below ->

ul.sf-menu > .td-menu-item > a, .td-theme-wrap .td-header-menu-social{
text-transform: capitalize;
}

2)If you want to create a new Widget you need to do it from Theme panel, from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5Pz6odRdX8 and the Widget will appear on Widgets section and then you can use it everywhere into your website. Also, you can use the TD Composer, Widget Sidebar to display your widgets on the page.

3)If you are referring to the Widgets section, please notice that the theme does not have any kind of preview to your blocks elements. You need to check the demo, for example, if you know how the block looks like. -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/

4)You can try using the Header Manager which allows you to customize your header as you wish, using the TD Composer. For more details about this functionality, please check here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/

Thank you!

Hello,

If you implemented your modification through the child theme, then please note it will no longer work as mentioned here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/.
Please use the header builder instead: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/

Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately the background with link can be set only as background ads -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-ads/ for header I think that you can achieve something similar using the header manager

Thank you!

Hi,

The empty page template has been removed, now you can remove the header per page, using the header manager. An option will be added for the footer. If you require it, you can download it from here – http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/page-empty.zip

Place it in the main theme folder, upload it by FTP for example
http://prntscr.com/mo17zp

Then select it for the pages you want. The footer will be removed and the header can be disabled
http://prntscr.com/mo17bw

Editing the revolution slider blank template with the composer will cause problems. That would be useful if you wish to display only a slider provided by the plugin, by entering it’s shortcode in the page content, in the backend – http://prntscr.com/mo18vk

Sorry for the inconvenience.

well, I am not using any Ad Manager or any plugin related to that I have to add 3 different Advertising Companies Code.

Previously I had my Codes installed on Header.php and Footer.php after the Update I have to again install them on the same files but when I do there were no ads on my website.

Hi,

Please notice that Ad Manager has not bee tested with our theme and therefore we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with our theme, sorry! You need to check the official documentation for the ad integration system. Generally, it has to be added some codes between head tags of the theme in the header.php file. Also, before starting to use it you need to check the documentation from here -> https://www.stitchdata.com/docs/getting-started

Hope this helps!

Thanks

Hi,

If you want to do the same modification, the file is now in the composer plugin (after update 9.7) – http://prntscr.com/nson1d The limit could be increased there.

Or consider using a cloud header template – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
You ca import them or build your own with the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
In this case increasing the limit for the posts in a mega-menu with sub-categories can simply be done with a setting – http://prntscr.com/nsonvr

Some articles about the header builder introduced a while back can be seen here
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
https://tagdiv.com/header-main-menu-newspaper-theme/

Thanks

Calin
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

I believe you mean the sub-categories shown in the mega-menu – http://prntscr.com/noug0h
There isn’t a limit set there, if there are more sub-categories they will appear there.

So if the category you choose to use in the mega-menu has more subcategories
http://prntscr.com/nouii4 they will appear in the menu – http://prntscr.com/noujvh ordered alphabetically.

If you are using a header template from tagDiv Cloud Library you can edit it using header manager and set the limit you want for subcatgories ->https://www.screencast.com/t/55rpV0Y6Gsn

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

@leazo
please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
