Hi I have created a demo header within my website and only used for one category. But to my surprise that same header is showing for 1 particular article, I have set style templates to default then also it is taking demo header for that particular article.

Please make sure that you have the tagdiv Composer and tagdiv Cloud Library activated. I recommend using cloud templates for headers, footers, categories, posts, and so on.

Yes I have figured it out – it turns out (and it is my mistake) that you can add new elements to the Footer when dealing with the Content view. I had placed all these page elements in to the Footer hence it was displaying in new pages associated to that particular Footer. Once I had figured it out I now look at the position field which I believe TD call “The Parent Zone”.
I wonder if it would be better to have the option to turn off the ability to edit the Header/Footer from within the page/post design?!

Sorry, in Newsmag, you can set a default header template. I thought it worked same way in Newspaper, then realized I had not used Newspaper version in couple of years, so may be different setup now with the cloud template options.
Thanks for answering but I’m afraid I don’t quite understand. What do you mean by reselect the header template in the theme panel?
We had similar issue with update to newsmag; going into the wp settings and reselecting the menus and in theme panel the header template fixed it for us.
We just updated our Newspaper theme to 12.6.7 and it just erased the header from our whole website (brockpress.com).
We then downgraded back to 12.6.6 but the header did not return. We tried restoring a revized verion of our home page but the header was still absent as though it never existed.
How do we solve this problem?

Check the favicon and set it up here: Appearance -> Customize -> Site Identity -> Select site icon -> upload the favicon and press Publish and here: Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Header -> Logo & Favicon.
Clear all the cache and it should work well.

I have been experiencing an issue with the website header. I have built a custom header with tagDiv Builder and it has been working perfectly but sometimes noticing the header has been changing automatically to the default header.
How can I prevent it from changing the header?

I’m facing an issue with the time display on the domain header bar. I was able to add time and seconds, but it only updates when I refresh the page or reopen the browser. What I need is for the seconds to update in real time, continuously, without having to reload the page. Could anyone help me ensure that the seconds are updated automatically while staying on the homepage? Example

I’m trying to change the header image on the Gourmet Pro prebuilt. I want to get rid of the fruit, but I am having a difficult time, and can’t imagine it’s this difficult. I tried the Header Builder. Any tips would help – thank you

Thank you for your answer. Not sure why you weren’t able to see the ad that is just below the header, it sometimes shows as a blank spot for me too. Anyway, the ad is not in the header per se – it’s just the first block of the homepage’s Content area.

Your solution of inserting the code again in the Mobile header *might* work, but as this ad placement is already showing in the correct spot for all devices, it would make more sense to use the AdSense code just once (like it is now) and work with the Theme Panel options to adjust the sizing to different devices. Duplicating the ad code in the mobile menu would prolong page load time for all devices and it would show this ad on the entire website instead of just on the homepage, which I don’t want.
The built-in Theme Panel options for different devices should be exactly what I need and they should work. They already seem to work fine for screens 458px-767px wide. The quirky behavior that happens below 458px width is what breaks this feature for our site.
So I would just like to fix the erratic behavior at <458px, because that’s the real problem and I’d really like to understand it and fix it while keeping a clean code&structure.

It is very strange: on a homepage I placed different Flex Block 1.
When I change the header color of them, it works for some, for some not.
Even if I delete this Block and add a new Flex Block 1, it shows the same wrong color in the header, which I cannot change.
As the site is not visible to the public now I could give you Login Credentials here?
What to do?

I think you have set the ad in the Theme Panel, so I recommend adding the ad box in the mobile menu section -> https://i.imgur.com/T1kKD38.png there is no ad in the header.
