I have installed Newspaper 8.8 but installing the tagdiv composer plugin generates an error message : “the plugin does not have a valid header” .
I changed permissions and have tried new install, same issue.

Hi,
So once you added that code the header is gone, is the issue solved if you remove it? Something is damaged in the header file of the theme, including the viewport.
There is a theme panel section created specially for the analytics code, no need to edit the theme header file

If the problem is solved by removing that code or disabling the child theme, then the problem is there. Check if the code entered is added properly with script tags and that no other code is modified in the theme header file.

I had 2 Google Analytics plugins installed and activated, but made the mistake of adding the Google Analytics code to the header.php file in the child theme. Currently the 2 plugins (Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP), and Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights) are disabled, and the code is removed from header.php. The problem is, the header is missing (top bar and main menu) and the mobile view of the theme is also not working.

Filer posts by categories and sort them as well, set custom block titles, choose block headers

We have not changed anything regarding the analytics implementation. Our theme does not alter the readings It just ads the code in header.php in the head tag. No other modification is done. You can even do this manually and not use the theme analytics field at all. That way the theme will have 0 influence over the analytics tracking.

The issue is that the green stroke stroke should not even appear in this place. The CSS-code to change the header background-image doesn’t tell the theme to place a header image in this place, so it’s very strange that this happens.

Just wondering how I can make one or more pages not include any of the header or footer information that all the other part of the site has. Is this possible with this theme?
This is needed for a salespage that doesn’t need to have all the header and footer information that other pages have. These distract from people who want to just focus on what’s on offer on the salespage.
There’s the option not to include any sidebars if necessary (it works great) but is there any option or way to make a particular page not include any header or footer information, just the content on the page itself?
If anyone knows how to make this possible, please share 🙂

My logo has disappeared from my header and footer. This happened before I updated to 8.8. It seems to only be a desktop issue, no matter the browser. It renders fine on mobile. I am not using a child theme.
