This could be the use of both tagdiv composer and visual composer or it could be your customization. There were no full width headers in newspaper 7.4 so I asssume you have custom code implemented. Please try to create a testing platform (a sub-domain) and make a fresh install of wordpress and the theme.
Also please bare in mind that newspaper 8 comes with it;s own page builder so you cannot use both. Choose one or the other but not both at once as both page builders together create layout issues. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

The theme has a top menu and a main header menu available, so there is an option to display two separate menus.
If you want something similar to that example, where there are multiple lines of menu items on above the other, you could try some header styles that display the top menu above or below the main menu (header style 5 or 12 maybe)

There is no such thing as a slider in the header. A slider cannot be added to the header in our theme .

As for the footer text please check the footer section of the theme panlel.

The Black demo has custom design and styling, that would not be possible with theme options. It is specific to the mentioned demo. You could achieve it with custom CSS. Take inspiration from the demo stylesheet and see how it was made

Each header style displays the ad in some way, maybe you can find a different header style that you can use if you require a bigger logo image

Hi,

From what I see the header search is not functioning properly. Something is affecting it, either some modifications made, or maybe a plugin. The condition to make it visible when clicked is not applying.
I could give you a code as a quick fix to make it visible

Enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS. But maybe it would be better to identify what exactly is causing the issue. Try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching, then check if this has any effect. Double check any custom code or theme modifications as well.
