1. Just update my theme to 7.1. My header was showing the mobile menu as well on the desktop view as well.
For now i have removed the below two lines from header.php.

2. There is a text behind my Logo, which is not disappearing. Please assist.

I found out how to do change it, it is the top header menu. Thanks!
I fixed this by going to the theme panel and changed the header style then changed it back and it worked. Was scary for a second 🙂
I updated to Newspaper 7.1 this morning and now my site header is completely messed up http://darkhorsenews.com/. I tried auto update and manual update. Please let me know how to fix the header. Thanks.
I fixed the issue by going to wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=locations
Make sure you assign the Header Menu Mobile (main)
Footer Menu Mobile

On the mobile version of my website, the posts in the header are showing up in random date order, rather than the latest first. How do I make the latest posts show up first on a mobile device?

After active the Speed booster plugin the” top menu, head background color, mobile head background and main menu background color first load in a color and then change it in the custom color, What can do for load it in the custom color.

The easiest way to add extra classes is to simply edit the theme file and add your class in the html. if the header is what you are after, then here is where you can find it: http://screencast.com/t/e9eesMck. Hello there. On the header banner position which contains the leaderboard ad, when adblock is on, it hides the advert but keeps the div as it is with a huge blank space (but on the sidebar ad, it hides the entire div). My site looks weird and out of place with this.
I need to hide the entire “td-header-rec-wrap” div when adblock is active, how do i achieve this?

Please notice that this depends on what kind of header style you are using on your side. You can leave your logo to the original size because the theme will adjust it regarding on your header styled use. For more information about our header styles, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ Please notice that these ar recommended sizes for the logo. So, if you are using a header style which displays the full logo and you will have a big logo loaded on your backend, the logo will be displayed in full width, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/bgkheLG1oaBT This is an example using the header style 10.

hi there i try to make some customization,
so i add custom “page-id” and custom “header-custom”.
now i try to remove class from “header-custom” and add some new classes.
i try to do that:

after <body> section but this dont work.

Thanks for the quick answer. Good to know the size changes wont take effect if I dont add the <script> tags, so I should make that work I guess.
I just checked and changing other theme settings from the panel worked fine, even adding the Header ad works perfect (with all the tags).
I also checked the chrome console and there is a 403 error, it comes when I hit “save” when using all tags for the inline ad. If I reload the page the ad is not saved, it remains as before.

That happens because your homepage is not served offer https. If you switch the homepage to https protocol that warning will disappear because the indicated action calls site’s home url. You can also remove the search for by editing header-menu.php like here: http://screencast.com/t/m9EehPG1C

I have set up inline ads from the theme panel -> ADS section.
I have two issues, that might be related.
First: When adding the google ad code, and setting up all options for the inline ad (paragraph, size, etc), after clicking on “Save” button the spinner would go forever and options will not be saved. I fixed this by removing the “<script>” tags, as I assumed that the scripts are being loaded already for header ad. After this, the ad could be saved successfully and displayed properly on articles.
Second: I could not solve this. When I attempt to change all sizes (for example 200×200 instead of Auto) and set the ad position to left or right floated, the ad stops working. Sometimes it is not displayed anymore, sometimes it keeps displaying with full-width as before.
I could not find a way to make it work. The code for the ad still remains as the <ins> part, but without <script> tags.
Any known issues about this? I am attaching an image of how the ad panel looks:

This issue seems to be connected to the new version of wp and the htaccess file as this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/header-broken-after-update/

Please try to check your htaccess or disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Also if you use PHP 7, please note that this is not yet tested with our theme so it could provide a few errors. if this is the case, please revert to PHP 6.
