I’m currently sampling new homepage templates within an unpublished draft page. Unfortunately when I change Theme Panel settings to work with the draft homepage, it also changes my current homepage. For instance, changing the background boxed layout and stretch background options changes the configuration of my current homepage, not just the sample page. Is there any way to change theme panel settings while building a prototype homepage without changing the current homepage? Thank you.

Please check the console when you hit the save button and see if there is an error. With right-click -> inspect -> console -> select the error in the tab network -> preview, you can see the cause.

Ok…
I tried Post Loop… but problem is I cannot filter the categories showed…
On my homepage there are a few categories that I hide… and there is no option to hide theme as in the Flex Block 5 I am using…
Also, Post Loop 2 is not allowing to put the date above the image…

H1 shows : “NewsPaperTrucs, Bidules et Machins du Web”
I should only have one, and it should be “Byothe.fr | Trucs, Bidules et Machins du Web”…

I’m trying to add a kicker (like a subtitle but on top of the title, german: Dachzeile) to the articles (e.g. as seen on this newspaper website: https://www.spiegel.de/). I found this plugin and installed it: https://wordpress.com/de/plugins/wp-subtitle
But i can’t find a setting in wordpress to show it on the homepage or the article page. Is there a setting to activate it?

Currently, I’m in the process of transferring all templates to a new database. However, I’ve noticed that there are no blank page templates available for the homepage and normal pages. I’m wondering about the best approach to utilize the template codes I already have.
1. Should I create new standard pages? My only hesitation is that they are not accessible in the cloud template section.
2. Alternatively, should I download a template and delete everything in that template to replace it with my code?
It would be much more convenient if there were blank templates available for pages.

Edit: Happening with all Cloud Templets except the Homepage.
Each Flex Block, Block, Big Grid Flex, and Big Grid on the portal’s homepage displays:
– posts
– or post custom types
When the filter is set to “All Categories,” posts are displayed.
If the name of a post custom type is added to the filter, posts of that types posts are displayed.
However, this combination does not result in both categories of posts being displayed in the same block
Hi, I installed a prebuilt website (Influencer PRO) and it works ok, I can edit all the content. But when I want to add a new element, it doesn’t work… for example, I ant to add the Instagram grid in the home page, I click on the + button, select the element, but when I drag it into the homepage zone, it doesn’t stay there… same happens when I want to add TAGS element into the prebuilt Single Page, it doesn’t stay.
¿What am I doing wrong?

You need to make sure that you don’t have set a background color/image in the Theme Panel because this makes your website boxed. Make sure this option is disabled => https://www.screencast.com/t/ejiNPCBF

I have imported a new Homepage template to a new page as you suggested. I imported the “Pulses Pro” template to the new page. I like this template because the margins are much smaller than my current “Magazine Pro” template, which has wide margins. However, when I imported the Pulses Pro template, it squezed all the content into the margins of the current Magazine Pro template.
What do I have to change so the new imported template has the margins that exist in its demo example and not the margins specified by my current Magazine Pro template? Thank you.

Hi, this occurs only on the Mobile version.
Check the footer on the homepage in the mobile version.
If you click an article you can see that it is a different footer.
Hello, After updating Newspaper to 12.6.5, necessary plugins to display the homepage such as tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Newsletter, tagDiv Mobile Theme, tagDiv Standard Pack, … automatically deactivate a few hours after I activated them. I have tried many ways to fix this error such as reinstalling the plugin, deactivating other plugins to check conflicts but the situation has not changed, my website cannot display content. I ran an upgrade on Newspaper yesterday, and now my homepage header and menu are totally blown up. When users access my home page, they see a full screen of code, with one graphic. Once scrolling beyond the code mess that was the header and menu, all other elements of the home page seem OK. Need help!!
