Hello,

I see blank space on the right, inside the posts.
We’ve created the sidebar in categories settings and also in widget I can see the sidebar (I named it “homepage”). I also assigned to particular categories (lifestyle, culture..) this sidebar, but nothing… always blank space on the right.

Help?

I use newmag theme for my website but then I buy newspaper. I would like to change the theme. I delete newmag and upload newspaper theme. But there is some problem with the new theme. Google ads do not display as usual and some codes display on the homepage. Moreover, the big block doesn’t display at my homepage. Please see the picture!

With Newspaper 7, my counter in my Slide Featured Article widget on the Homepage is now broken.
On individual pages, the counter works.

Notice how the featured article counter says JD 0.

I don’t know if it’s used at all for this, but my tagDiv Social Counter is version 4.0.

Hi, I faced the following issues.

The homepage visual composer cannot be loaded visually. It will take forever to load.

Besides, the google analytics tracking code cannot be saved. It will also takes forever to save, but failed every time.

Any solution for these issues?

I wanted to completely redo my homepage, and I enjoy for the last update.
But it seems that since I did the last update, nothing works properly.
There have a big problem with viewer and column selection in the back office.

Is it possible with the inbuilt options or is it custom coded ?

And I also wanted to ask if the zoom-in on hovering can be disabled ?

The entire filtering system of VC seems crazy to me…or I’m totally missing something. I really hope it’s the latter. Is there any way to just choose which posts/categories/etc you want in each block? Having to look up every number is just excruciating. I can’t fathom why VC did this…? Is there any plugin that let’s you pick/choose categories/posts without having to manually look up a number?

Also, does anyone know the code to get the post id for custom post types? I’m able to enter a regular post, but that’s it. What does the filter code look like for a custom post type?

I love the NP built in blocks and mods…but they are almost impossible to use. To build a typical homepage would take days with the current VC.

We cannot see previous pages of posts – if I click on page 2 or 3 or 4 it just shows page 1 over and over. How do I fix this? What caused it?

Hello,

I can’t get a sidebar to appear next to the latest articles loop on my homepage. The only was I was able to get a sidebar on the homepage was by using a “widgetized sidebar” block on VC, but of course that only appears next to the VC content, leaving a gap next to the loop.

When installing the Mobile Theme component for the first time, we were under the impression that it featured a customizable homepage with the option to place various blocks and other elements. This was based on the demo that’s available:

We were disappointed to find out that the homepage of the mobile theme is restricted to a “Featured” block at the top and recent posts on the bottom. Our site has repurposed the “Featured” category so for us, it doesn’t make sense to put these at the top of the page.

We’d really like to use the Mobile Theme for the obvious speed benefits but we will wait until more customization options are available for the homepage. Are there plans to offer this in future versions?

Hi. It is a while now since I last modified my static homepage where I have my visual composer with all my content. The content is still displayed fine when you enter the website, but when I enter my homepage to modify it, I don’t have anymore all the visual composer buttons, and when I press on ”New element”, the popup with all the elements appears, but when I press on no matter which one, it does nothing. I want to add an adbox between 2 of my categories.

After installing Newspaper 7, I published a post today and although the post published, it is not showing up on the homepage under the appropriate category. (yesterday, after installing Newspaper 7, it worked fine).

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

I would like to ask you to help me. I have Visual Composer 4.3.5. After WordPress 4.5.2 update I don’t see editor on my page post option. I can’t do any changew on my homepage.

I can not see backend editor, when I click on Visual Composer it redirects to https://vc.wpbakery.com/?utm_campaign=VCplugin&utm_source=vc_user&utm_medium=backend_editor
