I have recently updated the jetPack plugin to the latest version 3.8.1 and the following issues have arisen on my site betotg(dot).com
The Advanced carousel banner just below the main menu used to have dynamic gifs but these are now static (no moving images).
The “Latest Sports News” which uses Block2 grid at the bottom of the page (before the footer) has changed to large images overlapping each other (see homepage).
To repeat the fault I restored a previous backup from VaultPress, and this worked, the banner’s GIF’s were working and the sports feed was correct. When I repeated the update I had the same issue, so i’m almost certain its an issue with the Jetpack plugin update.
I can change from Block2 to another (block19) and it works again, when I try to revert back to Block2 its a mess again. I know the short term answer is to stick with Block19 which I will do but it hasn’t resolved the issue and my top banner no longer runs.
Btw I have also posted this to Jetpack but given i’m using the Newspaper theme I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue.
Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

If you used our plugin and created the td_book CPT, you can set it from the block settings to display on your homepage: Simply use the ID you gave your CPT (our plugin uses ‘td_book’) and add it to the post type field in block settings: http://screencast.com/t/F9OwlGOrnKd (i set mine to show booksa and posts.) actually I tried your cpt plugin with the books CPT, tried to add a new post with that CPT
but it doesn’t show on the homepage latest articles either…

I tried disabling all the plugins and still it was there.
I haven’t edited any template, that’s why i’m not sure where it’s coming from.

In block content we need to specific filter catagory and Filter by tag slug but I want to make fliter by page. Can I do it ? I have a lot of page content that why I need to put them in one homepage.

It could be a number of things that interfere with the homepage. Maybe you have other plugins that interfere with contact form and the page template used. You can try to disable all plugins except visual composer and contact form and see if the problem is still there.

I cannot say for sure as i do not know how you have your homepage set up. Every block has pagination if you set it like so. The block pagination can be removed from block settings: http://screencast.com/t/zmf2yxRKagq
The other type of pagination you might have is the latest articles pagination. You will need to set your posts to display from certain categories or filter them by id so you control which posts display in this section: http://screencast.com/t/OjbsThdKrL
I assume you have it on default which is filtered by all categories and latest posts so pagination will go as far as it needs to display all the posts. You need to change your settings to remove the pagination. Set it to only display a page of posts and it will not have pagination.

I create post and put 2-3 categories for created post, then I put one category as a “primary category”. On my homepage I have different blocks and each block is reffered to exact category. I switched on “Unique articles” on my homepage. The problem is that posts marked with “primary category” doesn’t appear in exact category blocks. How can I solve that problem?

I’m updating the theme on my sites from v4.6 to the latest v6.6 but my homepage post are not showing. The side bar, nav bar and footer update as expected but the main content section doesn’t show anything. All the plugins have been updated and the theme settings from my v4 theme have been properly imported. Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks!

Unfortunately it will not be that easy to get the articles from the offset. Your best bet is to add another block 4 to your homepage that contains the exact block settings as the big grid and then hide it in the desktop/tablet version using this css:

If you want to have a full image in your header container, it is necessary to choose a correct size of image otherwise, you will have a free space in your header. The size of the container is 1021*130 px.

The Ads are showing up on the Inner Page, Post Page but it is not showing on the Landing Page (Home Page) Header section. When I see the source code of the home page the Ad Code is there but it is not getting displayed.

thank you for your product (this is my first post) – I’m setting up Newspaper theme.
I’d like to know how to control bottom section on Homepage in demo content (please see http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2mh63nl&s=9#.VmMpkeMrIk8) -section “with latest posts and sidebar with widgets “Newspaper Default”. This appears to contain all posts, but there is no shortcode for this in “News” Page. Where can I remove it? Is it possible to move this section up?
