- TutorialsFrom WPBakery to tagDiv Composer
Hello Morten Brekke!
Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, click on the row and delete the image: https://app.screencast.com/GCjQXAGW7Q4E7; scroll and delete the second one:https://app.screencast.com/NRWYYZtCNumXO and the third one: https://app.screencast.com/eWDG3zFrDrkZE
You can use all the pictures with no issue.
Thank you!
Hello,
On some pages of my website i have a Low Text/HTML ratio.
I increase the text on the page, but seems that the problem is the part of the code on the page.
On the homepage for example (static page) i used :
– titles
– Text with title (5)
– search form
– icon box (16)
– images (2)
– numbered counter (3)
– testimonial
– external shortcode for the email form
Can i simplified the page code ? From the list above, what requires the most code ?
Thank you for your help 🙂
After updating to version 12.6.4, my homepage interface is completely broken. I tried switching back to version 12.6.3 but the problem still cannot be resolved. What should I do now?

Hello,
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Hi, I ran into a similar problem to https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/create-a-not-public-articles-homepage/
The problem is that TD block elements cannot handle the “private” post status.
I am preparing a new page using cloud template and Tagdiv Composer. And I need to have posts in it, but at this moment they should not be seen publicly. But as soon as I set these posts as “private”, i.e. only logged in users should see them, the Tagdiv filters won’t show them at all – even if I’m logged in as admin. If I look directly at the post using the URL, WP behaves correctly, i.e. I see him logged in and not as a regular visitor.
I would say that this is a bug and it would be good to fix it. So that the filters in Tagdiv composer behave correctly and respect the standard WP setting “private”.
We just try to duplicate the homepage to send the Blog / non connect to this page but it didn’t work and still show the blog page! 🙁
Please if you could find a quick solution…

Hello!
Assign the same cloud header for your homepage. Check in the Website Manager: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-website-manager/
Thank you!
How to add shortcode from another 3rd party plugin in homepage via tagdiv composer? I have tried placing the shortcode in “raw html” element, but nothing, simply doesn’t fetch the shortcode just shows the shortcode text [….] in frontend.
Hello Maddie!
It’s this page from the demo’s homepage: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_downtown_pro/latest-articles-downtown-pro/.
Did you install a section of this page from the Cloud Library?
All the cloud templates can be found in Dashboard > Cloud Templates.
Check out this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/sample-templates-appearing-in-searches-and-causing-404/

Hello.
I have created special pages using Cloud Library for my main categories and for the homepage.
I want all of them to have the same sidebar. I tried adding a sidebar, but it only uses widgets.
How can I create a sidebar template (not only widgets) and use it on every special page I create? I mean – without having to update each page when I want to change something on the sidebar.
Hello @AlanDogg!
Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, click on the row and check in the CSS tab -> Background image. For example: https://app.screencast.com/6hHuOPOFUcirA

Hello,
I’m a new user of Newspaper (Town Talk Pro) and I’m happy with it!
On my homepage, I have the latest articles featured at the top with:
– The latest article on the left half
– The next 6 latest on the right side with smaller visuals.
The issue is that my latest article appears on the left (which is normal) but also appears as the top one on the right!
Is it possible to shift the articles on the right by one? I do this on Elementor, but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it here.
Thanks for your help
No, the problem was not solved.
But it is obvious that we watched the changes even in frontend…
Here is the homepage -> http://lazio.lnd.it/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Screenshot-2024-02-06-alle-09.42.06.png
As you see from the arrow the shortcode does not charge.
On the other pages of the site built without your editor the shortcode will display without any problems. How here (see it in the right sidebar) -> https://lazio.lnd.it/archivio-comunicati

Hi,
We are getting – 500 internal server error when trying edit with tagDiv composer on the homepage. The tagdiv panel opens on the left but the homepage to be edited does not load. Shows 500 internal error.
However, this is not the case when we press tagDiv composer on article pages. There everything loads.
Can you help with this?
Thanks.
Hello!
I think that you should use The Widget Sidebar Element in your homepage.
Thank you!
Hello @bachini22!
Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, click on that menu and try to adjust the category tag from the mega menu tab -> mega menu module.
Thank you!
Sometimes show error when editing home with TAGDIV Composer, most of the times to be exact. Fast fix would be to click save on default wordpress editor on the homepage and then open/edit with TAGDIV Composer.
But this fix simply resolves until next edit of homepage, when most of the times again the error shows. I am sure that this is known error and you can provide fix, regarding my explanation.

I know I’m giving a bit much feedback today. I’m sorry, but I’ve got time to deal with these things today. I love you all. I’m having a problem where if I post a new article and then open the main page, the main page doesn’t update with the new article. If I refresh it or use shift+F5 to refresh it, it’s fine. The bigger problem is that if I log in from a browser or device I have used for a long time and open the web page, I see the same status as the last time I saw it from that device. For example, I last visited the site on my old laptop in October 2023. In January, I turned the laptop back on, typed in the address of my website, and it was not the January 2024 front page, but the October 2023 status. Of course, after refreshing it, I can now see the fresh articles, but I fear that my visitors will think that the main page hasn’t been updated for a long time if they see this. I am using Wp-rocket on the site, but my other site (also Newspaper template and Wp-rocket plugin) has no such problem.
Hello, how can i add following shortcode in homepage?
[events-calendar-templates category=”all” template=”default” style=”style-1″ date_format=”default” start_date=”” end_date=”” limit=”10″ order=”ASC” hide-venue=”no” socialshare=”no” time=”future”]
Thanks
Hi, we are modifying the homepage to display a right sidebar containing only a Gutenberg block of PHP everywhere. This sidebar appears correctly throughout the site (like here https://lazio.lnd.it/archivio-comunicati), except on the homepage -> lazio.lnd.it. How can I resolve this?
I’ve installed the TOWN TALK prebuild. The articles have the Featured image to illustrate the article. I don’t want to use the Feature image but the image inside the article for the article browsing (or from the homepage). I’ve seen in your documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/ that we could achieve this with 8.x but I can’t find this menu on 12.x. How to proceed?
Thanks!
Hello @kirovinvest!
Please check if the translations are applied for the list above, and if you save the settings in the theme panel, the settings are successfully saved, and there is no issue when you save the settings.
Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, click on the row, and uncheck this option: https://app.screencast.com/qWulxMDuiAp90 in order to disable the sticky header for the Town Talk demo.
Check out this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/enabledisable-comments/.
Try to edit the article with the TagDiv Composer and delete the comments element.
Thank you!
