About the ads management:
2. There’s a problem with your ads manager, for the ads in articles, you can access this url:

I used the “article top ad” with a 336x280px ads, and is appearing a horizontal ads. And in “article bottom ads” I used a responsive ads.
In the homepage I used:
– a 728x90px in custom_ad_1 after the header block named “em destaque” and a responsive ads in custom_ad_2 after the block named “preparacao”.
As you can see doesnt matter the size of the ads blocks, your theme have own sizes in specific locations. I dont know why this is happening, I tried to desactive all plugins (except visual composer) I verified another site with the same theme, and it is working fine (like hxxp://sensacionalista.com.br).
9. How can I create “sliding sidebar blocks” like in the demo of newsmag? Note that I want to use this functionality with the sidebar blocks created in visual composer, not with the widgets.
10. About the size of the cover images for the articles. I tried to use the plugin Regenerate Thumbnails, but without sucess with your theme.
What I can do to adjust a better view to the images in each type of visualization that you theme offer? For example, for the same posts your theme use diferent sizes for the homepage and for the page of the categories.
As you can see the same post “O Que Faz um Analista Tributário da Receita Federal?” with the cropped image in the page of category:

What I want is to enable the “Read-more” shortcode.

I want my homepage to just show the text: “Article text, lorem ipsum sit dolor.” and the rest of the post should show everything. Did you understood? Sorry for my English. I want to enable the <!–more–> shortcode, it just doesn’t work. Your theme complete ignores it and always shows all the text on the homepage until the “Excerpt” limit.

I’m having some trouble with two columns in my homepage. One is very large (set to 5/6 wide) and should contain two articles, while the other column is tiny (1/6) and should contain a widgetized sidebar which only has a social widget in it.
The problem is, the two columns are acting weird. The first one acts like it cannot have the two articles on the same level, and the second one acts like the column is too small for it.
As you can see in the next screenshots, everything seems fine in admin panel.
Anyone knows how to fix this?

Did you update from an older version of the theme?
In 1.5 theme’s version we have renamed some shortcodes:
– td_ad_box -> td_block_ad_box
– td_authors -> td_block_authors
– td_homepage_full_1 -> td_block_homepage_full_1
– td_popular_categories -> td_block_popular_categories
– td_video_vimeo -> td_block_video_vimeo
– td_video_youtube -> td_block_video_youtube
– td_text_with_title -> td_block_text_with_title
– td_slide -> td_block_slide
– td_social_counter -> td_block_social_counter
So the renamed widgets have to be re added to each sidebar after this update. Make sure that you backup your database and if possible get the widget list from your sidebars.

The shortcodes shouldn’t be a problem, they will just appear on page as a code, you have to locate them and manually modify them to the new format: http://screencast.com/t/Da8k0HHtSD or use the SQL query (in phpmyadmin) to automatically replace them in the database – http://screencast.com/t/G1SwZNDb

You will need custom modification for this(not an easy task) as the full width of the slider use images at the full width of the theme – http://screencast.com/t/5xZq2FK5L and the feature image for template 6 and also Homepage Post block image is stretched via javascript, unfortunately we cannot provide any type of custom work for the moment as we work hard on development fixes and support.

1. Category page cannot be build via Visual Composer like your homepage. Theme doesn’t have option for this and you will need custom modification, unfortunately we cannot provide any custom work for the moment, sorry.

Hi,
I am not very good with coding, and am trying to set up my site using Newsmag. However, I cannot get the columns to display correctly – especially on the homepage. Please see here: http://www.thecarexpert.co.uk
The content appears too big for the column and so is spilling downwards. I assume this is in issue with Visual Composer, but I can’t solve it.

1. I dont know if is I or you that didnt understand, I want the show 3 figures in the header (just occurs to my homepage) when I click in a specific category, for example to:

4. I´m facing problems with the adsense implementation in the middle of homepage.
I did many tests, I created 728×90 ads block and a responsive block, the 728×90 I put in the custom_ads1, after the posts of the category “notícias” as you can see in my homepage, and after the category “preparação” (above the latest articles) I put a responsive ads.
For both, the size appears responsive. And by this way I can conclude that isn’t a problem with the adsense code. So why it appeared responsive? I want to use 728×90 ads like appears in the newspaper theme.

Hello Emil, thanks for your last answer, I have more some doubts and I would be very grateful if you can help me:
1. You didn’t explained how to change the categories with this shortcode in your last answer, how can I do it? I believe is because of that when I click in the url of the category appears to me another layout in the header (5 images in the header not 3), I have to corret this problem too.
2. I´m having problems with the pagination of the homepage, for example when I click to go to the page 2 or 3 appears to me a 404 error.
3. When I build a new post, and select a featured image for the cover of that post, the image appears large in the top of the post, how can I disable this last functionality?
4. How can I put responsive blocks of adsense in the home page (as in the newspaper theme), I want to use the adsense in the header, and more 2 blocks between the content of the homepage.
5. How can I erase the texts “acessories / what´s news / windows phone etc”? (I didnt have this categories in my wp-admin)

I have all the sidebar established in the categories and in the template settings (in the theme panel).
Why is indeed the sidebar displayed every post, but not on the home page, or on the side? I want to have the same sidebar on the home page and at every post.

I would like to create a temporary landing page for use while I’m getting the site up and running. I have created a page using the ‘Centre description with image’ template. Under ‘Page Attributes’ I have also set the page template to be ‘Homepage – blank’:

Is it possible to use WPBakery on posts. It is available on pages, and I use it all the time. But I would also like to use it on posts.
I want to put an image block on post pages above the featured image and cannot find a way to do this within the admin dashboard. If we can’t do it within WPBakery on a post-by-post basis, it would be great if there were an option within the theme panel that allowed us to do it.
