What’s up with that?
It’s been doing that since I first purchased the theme, which was 3.0 or 3.1, but I found ways around it and didn’t mention it here.
This is on three different domains ( 2 Demo sites installed for testing this ), same server, no two have the same plugins enabled and I am the sole super admin from WordPress installation in all cases. All are currently running Newspaper 3.8 and WP 3.9.
I can still manage sidebars from the categories layout options in the theme panel but that’s obviously just a work-around for this error.

Hello, i am using version 3.6 with big slide on the homepage. I am uploading every image of resolution greater than 745X483 but the thumbnails anywhere are not appearing correctly. Previously when i uploaded an image, the theme will automatically created many versions of it with different sizes but now the image remains same and any thumbnail is not looking correct, even on the big slider. Please reply quickly because it is spoiling the look of my whole website.
After The theme update these editing not work. I tryied child theme also but not working. In New theme i have edited files but not theme not work properly after editing.

I just had two more issues:
1.) The Twitter button doesn’t work properly as it just sends the headline to twitter but misses out on URL+via info (e.g: http://www.menabuzz.com/10-people-to-follow-for-egypt/)
2.) On my homepage I have 4 articles in the big slider but on mobile I can’t navigate through the slides (just the main one is showing up)

You misunderstood.
That’s where you make the edits but I offered nothing on the code you presented. From looking over the code I see that you would have to custom code this and it’s more advanced than simply copying code from file-A to file-B as the queries are not setup for it. The query you need for this isn’t in any of the blocks or modules and likely doesn’t exist.

I am wondering if it is possible to change the meta-info background colour for single posts and have the meta-info colour on the home page, categories page etc… a different colour?
the meta-info looks horrible on the single posts (e.g.: http://betheline.com/nba-picks-oklahoma-city-thunder-vs-memphis-grizzlies-betting/) but looks great on the homepage etc…

You would need to find the module that each block on your homepage is using and make the edit there. Just open the block source files for the blocks you’re using and it’ll tell you at the top which module it uses.
Blocks are located at includes > shortcodes

This is mi homepage and I establish the big slide and block 2. I use the block 2 to show the most popular post of the week, but I don’t want to show all the post that I have published on the week, only the 10 most popular. Now, If you press the ned button, the block 2 shows all the post of the blog.
Is any way to limit the number of post to 10?
And another question: Is any way to hide the block 2 on smartphone version? not in tablet or desktop.

Also, when somebody writes any comments, there is no notification like “Your comment is waiting for moderator approval.” For this reason people wrote comments 3-4 times on my website :)) I think something like that is absolutely necessary. How can i add something like that ? thanks.

I see that the time is the same on the homepage but I cannot offer you support for your custom code.

i can’t see edit option of my prev post so i must write new one. i think that one of the solution is to use a revolution slider for posts in qoutes category (to display qoutes on homepage in specific style and for full content. It looks good but what with category site and modules?
i’m preparing my site to change a template for excellent newspaper theme but i want to use qoute post format on my own homepage in block (example in block 7, without featured image) but to see the special style of this qoute post format i must go into them. I want to see this special style on my homepage (not only in post) and no need to click and go into the post. so i need that ex. block 7 must display the_content (not the_excerpt) only for qoute post format. I need to use it as post format in block because i have a category qoutes on my site.
and also i’ll need to display the articles in this category quotes, for example, in Module 2 with the_content but not with excerpt, for only qoute post formats.
Qoute post format will be only in qoutes category and in this category will be only qoute post format.

My client wants a time stamp on all posts. However, the timestamps for all articles listed in the feature stories are incorrect. Everywhere else on the homepage has timestamps associated with each article. For the featured stories, timestamps seem to all be identical. The single post is displaying it fine. As are many sections of the homepage. The file modified to show the timestamps was td_module_2.php . I am using <?php echo the_time(); ?>

Hi,
If you go to the next page you will see that the loop works correctly, showing you 5 posts per page, and on you first page you have more because you have sticky posts. Please remove the sticky posts.

And a final question. The page of the tags or 404 is different than the homepage, ¿how I can set the same structure for both? Take a look to this two pictures, in the first one is the structure of the home page, and in the second one the other structure.

I have just purchased this theme and I am trying to get the Homepage _Blank template to display my page correctly!
I am using Visual Composer to set the page content and have created a 2/3 + 1/3 row, with content in Column 1 and a widgitized Sidebar in the next column and I have selected the correct template within the page settings.
But the sidebar does not show correctly at the side it shows below the content!!!
