Hello there,
First of all I want to appreciate for the great theme…
I have a website called liveday.in, its a regional language website…
I have fixed most of the elements for mobile view..
First when the site is loading I get a black strip and then it changes color…
after its fully loaded when I scroll down holding logo whole page drops and color changes can you please guide
my client wants logo to be fixed on top this issue is only with safari on iphone please help..

after I installed the Newspaper theme I uploaded the new website logo in all sizes and everywhere, as recommended.
I use the Yoast SEO plugin and all fields for logo are filled with the urls with the correct logo image.
However when I paste a link into skype, the preview shows the old logo. Can you help with this, am I missing something?

I can’t figure out how to be able to modify the text

When I look at the page source code, the text seems to be in some “td-footer-bottom-full” element (see below). But how do I get to modifying the content?

In Chrome, press F12 for developers tool. You can also right click and choose “inspect element” on website to find the CSS-class for the main logo, (td-logo). Then upload your logo 2 times the size you want. IE if you want logo in 100px, upload in 200px.

Love the theme but have a quirky problem. The home page load correctly but once you have scrolled down and back up, the logo and header menu are layered behind the top header menu. OF course, you cant’ see/click the header menu items.

There is no option to have a different logo when you have a sticky menu. It seems you are using almost the same colors for the logo and the header menu background. What you can do using the available theme options, would be to remove the logo on the menu in this situation like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/AnUhnhJ1FV or to use the mobile logo (a different one) – https://www.screencast.com/t/SB65bbbfn

The easier way to do it without modifying the theme files would be to use some custom css to hide the header logo on the homepage like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/vEt78kNjxd that would apply only on the homepage.
This is the code I used, it must be entered in Theme panel->Custom Css

}

how do I customise the logo on the top left hand corner to be a separate/reverse logo as it transitions as the user scrolls down, due to the background colour of the navigation menu.

I would like to have our site logo integrated into the revslider on the front page. Then I do not need the logo (header 11) among the top menu on the front page, however on posts I still would like to have full logo present (header 11). Is there a way to not showing logo on page but still on posts?

I do not see this problem at the moment with the header logo – https://www.screencast.com/t/tMQRhKwHh If it is an intermittent issue, maybe a plugin could be causing this, so when it happens again try disabling all the plugins except Visual composer as a test, clear the cache and check to see if the problem remains. Also double check any custom code you may have entered in the theme panel , or added to the theme files related to this.

Buddypress puts the avatar on the admin bar but I want the avatar and all the dropdown options on the newspaper topbar where it says ‘login/register’. I’m going to try messing with this CSS and core files but thought I’d try asking here as well. thanks.

Hi,
I’ve changed the text logo font size through custom CSS code below.
However, when I turn the page, the existing font size of text logo is showing for a second and turned to the changed(smaller) font.
How can I fix this issue?

OK…I found a bit of code post on March 10 and that seemed to do make the logo large when used with Header Style 1. Great!
Now…How to I remove that banner adv from the header area? I do not need to use banner adv on this website.

Thank you for your response. I tried it but it was not successful.
When I pasted the code into the theme there were several error messages including:
Use of !important
Don’t use adjoining classes
From what I’m reading in this forum, this theme only lets you have a 300 px wide logo (not ideal our logo which is long and thin). And it forces you to have a banner adv in the header. If we try to modify the code, it will ruin the theme.
Maybe the best thing for us is to buy a different theme that gives more space for the logo and doesn’t have a fix position for an adv.

It seems that the maximum width of the logo on Newspaper theme can be 300 px.
Please point me to what code needs to be fixed to:
1. Remove the advertisement from the header (we aren’t not going to use Google Adsense)
2. Increase the maximum size of the logo to 600 px (without the adv banner there will be space for our logo.

You can also modify the margin left set on the logo, if you want to position the menu differently.

I suppose that when you load your logo from Media Library, you choose the smallest one and that’s why you bring a small logo, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/oxF8ZBLR Notice that the theme does not enlarge the images. It only crop them.
