Hi,
I installed newspaper again on my site with only tagdiv’s plugins.
The problem is; when i activated tagdiv’s mobile theme its not working. I can see site logo, 3 stripes and search button but i cant click on mobile device.
But when plugin deactivated, mobile menu, 3 stripes and search working well on mobile, but i cant see mobile version of slider on my mobile phone. (and i see background pictures on mobile menu, but i didnt choose)
I tested another devices, results are same.
How can i fix it?

The logo in the header on mobile is clear, but the logo used in footer is blurry for mobile.
Is the logo being used for desktop applications or the one for mobile applications?

I have activated the theme and use theme panel to customize my site. This works fine as long as I stay login. After I logout, the changes are not applied. I used multi-site install of wordpress 4.5.2.

I see you already removed the picture. It;a a logo not a simple image. You can add or remove logos from the header section of the theme panel.

There were a few issues with the server but they are now fixed and installing and uninstalling demos should work as expected now.

Problem solved.
Soooo awfully sorry, it’s my bad. 🙁 I should choose “Full Size” in Attachment Display Settings instead of “Medium – 300 x 99” when inserting the logo image to the post/Theme Panel.

Not sure why whatever resolution I upload at the images do not show up sharp. Seems like something is compressing them.

It is about the retina logo. I have uploaded exactly the size recommended, PNG, (272px x 90px) and (544px x 180px). However, the retina logo is automatically cropped in Theme Panel, and it’s get kinda blurry on homepage (not as sharp as it should be).

i am constructing a site in Arabic language and Arabic is RTL language , i noticed in the header styles available that there is no option for making the logo on right and the menu on left , and also the menu items in the main menu arranged from left to right so the main page menu item begin at the most left which is right for English languages but its reversed for RTL languages so how i can have a header that the logo on right and the menu on left and menu items begin from right , also i am suggesting to add this header style in your next updated as one of the options since many RTL use this setup
Hi, I chose Hybrid Menu on right with logo as my header style and the top bar seem to stop working. When you move the mouse over the black bar you can see that the menu items exist but they seem to be hidden in the black bar. The site in reference is – http://smashingideas.com.au/

The logo is a big image so a header style that uses the full logo is the best choice (9, 10 or 11)
The stretched grid does not seem to position properly for the site as the content is stretched. You can use revolution slider to create a full width slider below the menu like in this demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_travel/ (the slider is already included in the theme archive under demo sliders) or you can use one of the big grids: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-9/
The rest are simply a selection of block elements on the homepage.

Thanks a lot for the response. I implemented most of what you said and it worked perfectly, except for the header above my logo. My site is shanaplandebate.com, and for some reason when I go to Appearance->Editor I can’t find the header-style-7 section to edit the code. Is there a reason why?

We added a h1 tag on the logo so you don’t have to use duplicate tiles: http://screencast.com/t/hX5hWrVpcUT The h1 tag is now present by default on pages and it’s not required for post tiles displayed in mega menu.

1.You can use theme’s custom ad-spots to display your ad above the logo. First you have to place your ad-code in one of the available custom ads. Then you have to edit the file corresponding with header style used and add this code like here: http://screencast.com/t/C9xwScefN
I’ve used custom ad 1 as example for header style 7.

3. Unfortunately the theme does not have an option to add infinite scroll on posts. To achieve that you’ll need some customizations in theme’s core files. This is a complex task and I can’t provide a solution for the moment. If you need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer to help you with implementation.

having installed Let’s encrypt on cloudways using a default wordpress install with Newspaper theme.
having changed wordpress HOME and SITE URL to https
everything is working, but in for example Chrome:
SSL is “green” on the admin (/wp-admin)
SSL is not “green” on the website.
saying:

The site includes HTTP resources.
”
and sure enough, the newspaper logo, logo-mobile, bg, 8 (etc.) images are still http. So it seems Newspaper theme forces http and doesn’t serve the image files for the theme like WordPress want’s it to (as https://)
is this a general bug in Newspaper theme and if so, are you fixing it ? – is there a workaround for now ? Or am I doing something completely wrong ?
