Once the menu changes to mobile menu my search seems to be disabled on the right side. It starts at ipad size and goes all the way down to iphone, no search. Is there something I need to do within the theme? My website is http://www.americansecuritytoday.com

I currently have Newspaper and I am thinking of getting Newsmag. I looked on the demos and it seems like the header menu disappears when you scroll down. Is it possible to sticky this when scrolling up/down on desktop and mobile? Thanks.

Is there a way to add links like “About” and “Contact” to ONLY the mobile menu and NOT the main desktop menu? I’d prefer not putting them in the main menu, however when you view my site http://www.retirewire.com in mobile there’s NO links to about and contact because they’re in the top menu.

Hi,

Do you use also the Mobile Theme plugin? In this case you can try to remove or comment this code – http://screencast.com/t/C4h36vO3
If you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin and you use the default mobile version you could use custom css to hide it – http://screencast.com/t/h8i2WwAy

@media(max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full {
display: none;
}
}

Thanks!

Hello Larshell,

If you want to get rid of the main menu for mobile mode, please notice that you can hide it, using a bit of CSS code. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.

The code is ->

#td-top-mobile-toggle{
display:none;
}

The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/ncz8ZYeVXRO

Thanks.

Hi

@multibaseportugal this issue is usually caused by cache or cdn. Try to clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.

@rchjantonio
I’ve checked your site and not it’s displayed fine. If you still have this issue try to clear all caches then test again.

@ravester
I’ve checked your site and the mobile menu works fine. The pages are empty because you’re using mobile theme an you didn’t added any content in mobile editor. Please check this link for more detail about how mobile theme works: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thanks!

Hello jauburn,

If you want to show the top bar menu for mobile mode, you have to use a bit of CSS code to show it. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area. Please notice that the Tob Bar menu has been designed to be hidden to the mobile view. This was a design choice.

The code is ->

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px){
div.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display:block !important;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}
}

The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/1b80RNnyn

Thanks.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to insert a carousel image slider in the mid section of my Home Page as per below link: https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-swipe-slider/, however, this version seems to be only work when you swipe the images. It is a great solution on a mobile but PC, not sure.

Question 1:
Is there a way to insert an option to move to another image as seen on this example: http://coolcarousels.frebsite.nl/c/59/?

Question 2:
This revolution slider version https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-swipe-slider/, has default menu: Beach, Trip, Hiking. I should be able to change that but I am not sure. Ideally, if possible, I would like to show only images.

Can you advise?

Thank you very much for your help.

Anna

Hello Larshell,

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are suing the anchor links for your menu items. So, please notice that this type of feature does not work for mobile mode, sorry! In this case, you should add a valid address for your menu links to bring good results.

Thanks for your understanding!

I’ve just noticed this extra space between the mobile menu and featured images (big grid 4)
On desktop everthing works fine.

What I did that might have cause this:

    Tried to rename the theme/child folder (is now reverted back to default)
    Installed the new Visual Composer that came with 7.4

Could you let me know how to fix it ? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, I’d like you to help me with 4 questions:

1) In the header menu, the live search works well. But is there a way to implement it in another search boxes, for example, in the sidebar? The default WordPress search doesn’t seem to have this feature.
1.1) Due to the server and thousand of posts, the search takes a while to process the live results. Is there a way to insert a loading gif to show the user the content is beeing loaded? That would be just VERY helpful.

2) How do I enable smart snap only in the desktop version? I seems this feature doesn’t work well with mobile browsers, so it is going to be way better do disable it only in the mobile version (and let it sticky).

3) Some days ago, you answered me about changing the thumbnail sizes. But I couldn’t make it, can you please explain better where should I update/create the thumbnail code? I tried in functions.php but it didn’t work..

4) At last, could you give me directions to change the way “latest articles” are shown in the homage? The default template is Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination, and I like that, but I would like to change the template, and display posts as a list.

Thank you in advance!

I have based my settings on one of the demos. But I

can’t seem to modify this green color that appear here and

there from the “news magazine demo”. I’ve checked “Theme Panel / Theme Colors” and “general theme colors, main menu colors / mobile menu colors. But still as the page load the green lines are shown in the menu as the page loads.. it’s replaced by my settings once the page has loaded completely but it looks a bit strange.

I also disabled / enabled speed booster plugin to see if it’s cache related.. but no.

Are there more color settings?

Hi

We haven’t tested cloudflare’s rocket loader with the theme but usually the rocket loader or automatic compression of js resources cause this. We don’t recommend using an autominify tool as this could generate js conflicts and break features that use js, function as in your case mobile menu and search.

Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for your support.

Please check this link.
null

The responsive menu is working fine if you check in the computer browser by squeezing the browser window.

But the child menu is not working if you check it in your mobile browser.

As there are child menus for team, series and videos.(They are not showing up as there are no arrows in front of menu items that have further child menus)

Hi there,

Having some odd mobile menu issues when I update from Newspaper 6.72 to 7.4.

See screenshots below to see what the ‘correct’ (expected/what it looks like on 6.72) homepage appears like (on both mobile and desktop) compared to the incorrect version.
