Well I managed to get it working ok on the desktop. I had to turn off rocket loader on cloudflare.com for the sites.

This still does not resolve the issue though for IOS and Android even after upgrading to 3.8.4

Hi,

I want to know if it’s possible to set different header styles for desktop and mobile. I use the full width center logo + menu for desktop, which looks great! But it doesn’t look good on mobile so I would rather use header 1 style (menu + logo on the right) with a different logo. Is this possible?

Not sure if you got the emails or not so I will go ahead and post the info here as well.

The latest versions of firefox and chrome on windows 7
IOS 7 (safari)
Android 4.2 with its default browser (works ok in chrome on here)

I also tried upgrading the theme from v3.2 to the latest but that broke the site so I had to roll back to v3.2.

On both safari and android’s browser we are having issues with the mobile menu working correctly. This dosnt seem to be an issue in chrome on android.

I can provide two example sites both behaving the same way. We are running v3.2

Hi, thanks again for your answer, now it works reat on desktop but menu still doesn’t appears on my mobile. Anyway, as you say, as the with of the screen gets smaller the menu starts to look ugly. I will try to find a way to make a different menu to be shown on small screens.

Pablo.

hi,
marius forgot to put the !important kwyword in the css rules.
put this code :

@media (max-width: 767px) {
   .td-header-menu-wrap {
       display: block !important;
   }
}

here: http://screencast.com/t/pGdM4vDgP

result: http://screencast.com/t/IVTKQfij

as the width of the site gets smaller the menu will start to be ugly.
like marius said this task require custom work. if you are not a developer please hire one for this task.

Thanks for you message.

You can make this via CSS.

To hide the logo on desktop use this CSS:

.header-logo-wrap a {
    display: none;
}

To show the logo on mobile use this one:

@media (max-width: 767px) {
.header-logo-wrap a img {
    display: block;
}
}

Sticky Menu is a really cool feature, but in mobile browsers it does not always look properly (when browser navigation bar disappears while scrolling down, sticky menu remains in same place – http://i.imgur.com/RQVYqTd.jpg)

So it possible to turn off menu’s “stickiness” for mobiles and leave it for desktops only?

Hi

I would like sub-categories to show on my mobile nav but can’t work out how to do this when having mega-menus in place.

http://www.glutenfreemag.co.uk/

For instance, the parent category Eat shows but the sub-category Products does not. Do you know how I can fix this?

Many thanks in advance

Martin

Hi,
Can be done but require some custom work to make a nice solution with 2 menus, what you can do is to unhide the top menu for mobile. Add this CSS in theme panel -> Custom CSS

@media (max-width: 767px) {
   .td-header-menu-wrap {
       display: block;
   }
}

Thanks!

Hi,
What you can do is to use a logo for header and hide it on desktop/tablets and will show it on phone only.

Thanks!

Hi,

I’m using top and main menu and they work great on desktop, showing the information I want users to access at first sight. But when you see the page on mobile phones the top menu dissapears and some important links are unaccesible. Would it be possible to create a new menu to be used just on mobile version? It would include items from top and main menu mixed.

As always, thanks a lot for this great theme and support. Regards,

Pablo.

Hi,

I dont display my logo in the header since i put it in the main menu. What would I do if i want it displayed in mobile phones view?

Also is it possible to assign a different menu for mobile? Since it is currently using the one for desktop, the logo appears in the sliding menu.

Hi,
This is not an easy task, you need to customize the code to make a floating ads but I’m not sure if Google allow this.

To turn of the sticky menu you can do that from Theme panel http://screencast.com/t/BHV8uzQk

If you don’t have programing knowledge we recommend to hire a developer do to this job for you. We can’t offer custom work, sorry for the inconvenience, we are working hard to support all our product.

Thanks for understanding!

Hello,

I would like to remove the sticky menu for mobiles and replace it with a sticky advert from Google Adsense.

Is it possible for the ‘header ad’ to become sticky on all pages and posts? (as it’s displayed at the top of the mobile webpage).

Or to add a sticky ad at the bottom of the page? (either way is fine, but prefer sticky header ad).

Thanks 🙂

Hi,
On our demo the menu works fine, you have an old theme version? Please update to latest version.

Check the demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

Thanks!
