Hi. I have this issue with desktop menu (mobile works).
When the menu has subcategories, the main one is not clicked.
In console I see 1 error: r ‘tds_more_articles_on_post_pages_distance_from_top is not defined’
I read the forums topics and says it has to activate and set value on more box. did that. the value shows in the code (and then deactivated the Standard Pack) but the menu still doesn’t work.
I use wprocket. Without wprocket it works but that makes no sense as everything else works with wprocket (in your theme too).
So, what is the solution? Why I get the same error despite the more box having value?

Tablet viewport width is already set at 100%. It’s the height part that’s problemtic. I want the menu to scroll if the content doesn’t fit inside the viewport in terms of width. I am not opposed to scrolling—I want it. But it just doesn’t scroll.

Suppose, I have a page that displays some stuff in 8 small sections and I set this page to show up in menu(putting the id of page in menu item). What happens is that on desktop it will open fine showing 4 sections per row. On tablet/landscape mobile you want it to scroll down till the last section because you’re showing one section per row, but it just won’t scroll. I can’t figure out why.

If your screen is 1000px tall and the menu items are 1400px tall, the extra items in that 400px would not appear because you can’t scroll. Width is not the issue, height is.

Another example is the tagDiv popup builder which is great. If you display page content in popup, doesn’t matter how long the page is, it will let you scroll down to the very bottom till the last piece of content but in menu it is not possible or atleast I’ve been unable to achieve it.

You can emulate the issue on your side—
1. Go to this demo-https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_music_life_pro/

2. Open the browser inspection tool.

3. Select iPad Air as the device or set 820 as width if the device option is unavailable.

4. Click on arrow icon beside FOR LIFE menu item (not the menu item itself, it would redirect).

You would find that a lot of menu content is below the screen/viewport height but you can’t access it because it doesn’t let you scroll down.

Hi,
Unfortunately, on mobile menu the mobile page will not be display, usually it is display only normal menus with submenus and if it is used the responsive version (not the mobile theme plugin), then will also be display the mega menus with subcategories.
The page menu can be display only on desktop.
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then you can set a different menu for mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/NmqYt8b.png
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello,

I have a normal page made with Guttenberg editor which I have assigned to be shown at hover on a link in the main menu.
While it works as expected with the normal menu when we switch to the mobile menu at hover on the link nothing happens.

Please advise, how to show the page content on the mobile menu.

Thank you in advance.

Hello, team tagDiv.

The menu item FOR LIFE in music and life demo doesn’t work as expected. Below a certain viewport width, the instrument section and the two articles requires vertical scrolling to be found. It’s unscrollable/(sticky?). The viewport width I tested it on is landscape mobile (real device not td composer).

Is it same for everybody else as well?

I am trying to remove the search button on the mobile theme plugin.
Do you have have some custom css / code for me to hide the button.
I tried to hide it with this css:
.td-icon-search {

color: #fff0 !important;;
height: 1px;
width: 1px;
;
}

But search menu still opens sometimes when you click on it.
I cant use display: none because then the other button I place there is also hidden.

The mobile version of my site refuses to acknowledge any settings from the mobile theme settings menu. It keeps reverting to the default header and menu colours and the box for custom CSS doesn’t work either.

The header at the top should be white with black logo and text. But it stays black with a black logo. The menu appears red and blue gradient with white text but it should be white background with black text.

Changing the settings, clearing cache etc. does nothing.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply but I do not have “Post settings” in the “Mobile theme” menu
Here is a screenshot: https://ibb.co/hYSyHwx

And here is a screenshot of my problem: https://ibb.co/jTLLfjZ
As you can see, the category is missing.
Moreover, I noticed that some letters where cut. For example, the surname of this author is “Levy” and you can see that the bottom of the “y” is cut. Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks again.

Its obviously NOT ok, the header isn’t the correct mobile one (mobile logo needs to be different e.g. like here: https://sherides.de/unsere-partner/). It shows burger, but no content in the menu, so no links. I CANT create a dedicated mobile version as I did via composer with all other pages. Usually I were able to create mobile page of the regular page, than I was able to adjust logo and add the top navigation to the burger menu. As you can see it’s NOT there. So WHY doesn’t it work with this page?

Hello,

You can change the icon for the mobile menu -> https://i.imgur.com/fUAHdsn.png with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on the phone.
Also, for the menu, you can set the icons that’s how it is in this demo -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine_pro/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/

Thank you!

Hello,

I think you referring to having a menu like this https://i.imgur.com/AEDMmqf.png
Please edit the mobile version (responsive or mobile page) select the row and set the layout to 1/3 + 1/3+1/3 and set the width of the column like in this video https://www.screencast.com/t/xMSF1ACLU and after you can add the elements in columns.

Thank you!

Hi. I wasn’t able to solve the problem although i have read more topics and followed your instructions.
I have attached a few links with screenshots from my website, maybe it will help to find out what the issues are
https://ibb.co/JBgqQky – in this image tagDiv Mobile Theme is activated and the screenshot is from page About Us (page content is in romanian)
https://ibb.co/4Tr9j1B – in this image the plugin tagDiv Mobile Theme is deactivated and the screenshot is from page About Us (page content is displaying good, but the header doesn’t show burger menu as it displays on home page)
https://ibb.co/qncDZ7q – screenshot from home page where the burger menu displays and works fine
https://ibb.co/4THtGsv – this is how footer should look like on mobile (here the plugin tagDiv Mobile is deactivated)
https://ibb.co/MgvvL56mobile footer after i activate the plugin tagDiv Mobile
https://ibb.co/qjc9LgG – theme requirements
I also have deactivated all plugins except the ones from theme and it didn’t help. I have no cache plugin on my website.

Hello,

If you don’t want the header to be sticky, then this is the same way to go to Manager -> Header disable the mobile sticky menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/

Thank you!

Hello,

I have multiple support requests:

1. How to off animations of slide-menu, slide-search, sign in / login? (No animation time is more user-friendly)
2. Featured image shows as landscape on desktop but portrait on mobile, how to fix this?
3. How to set featured image lightbox?
4. How to change copyright text of ‘Publication Pro’ footer? (I can’t change it via Composer)

Burger menu is not displaying automatically when i test my website on mobile and when i activate tagDiv Mobile Theme, burger menu works fine, but the footer and the rest of the pages don’t have the same content as they have on desktop. If i don’t activate tagDiv Mobile Theme, the menu has a slide bar for seeing all the menu items and some of them are missing.
I have tried to create mobile pages and copy content from desktop pages, but it doesn’t work.
So, now i want to solve the menu to display as burger with menu items as list and keep the rest of the content which works fine.
I have read a few of the other articles about mobile version topics, but i wasn’t able to use those infos for my website.

hello Bettina,
we have investigated the problem and practically the search bar also finds the words present in the menu / sub menu (desktop and mobile). is there a way to make it search only in the title of the page or article? or at least exclude the menu from the search?

Hello,

You can create a menu and set the menu in the element Mobile Menu Horizontale https://i.imgur.com/cjkjGv9.png
or you can add a row and in that row, you can add buttons and set the link for each site -> https://i.imgur.com/fE0tJrJ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/PJ7D2TP.png

Thank you!

Hi,
Please try this custom css
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height: 60px;
max-width: 180px;
}
set the code in the theme panel > mobile theme > custom code > css.
I hope this will help with the logo size.

Q3: How do i make the header and search-bar as: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_kattmar_pro ?

Q4: How do i make header gradient color?

Q5: How do i make an mega text menu as FOR LIFE?: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_music_life_pro
