Hello, I understand. So I would like to use the same desktop theme as the mobile theme, what procedure should I follow and how should I do it since I purchased your product and I have been looking for assistance for weeks, so now I would like to solve the problem as soon as possible. Thank you.
Hello @f5guru !
That is a block from the homepage, I guess.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Unfortunately, you cannot customize the elements with the TagDiv Composer if you use the Mobile theme plugin. Maybe with a custom CSS: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
If you want to use the responsive version or a mobile page as described above at points 1 and 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, no.
You can change the order, only if you use the mobile page or a mobile responsive version; for mobile theme + AMP, you can’t customize it as you want.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
Is there a way to change the order of items in the mobile theme? Right now, it’s breadcrumbs (I’ve disabled it on my site), category blocks, title, subtitle, author, image, share, article.
I’d like it so image is the first thing that appears, then title, subtitle, author, category block, share, article.
Here is the link: https://collegefootballnetwork.com/top-tight-ends-impact-true-freshman-2023/?amp=1
I imagine I would need to edit the actual theme file but don’t know where to find it.
Thanks!
Hi,
The social icons from Theme Panel, are for the mobile version/mobile theme and for users that have an older version, with settings from Theme Panel.
Thank you!
Hi,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m using the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin, and from the desktop home page I created the mobile page (by clicking on the Mobile Page button at the top and selecting Create Blank Mobile Page). But even if I modify it with the TagDiv Composer (I open it using the green pencil near the name of the Mobile page), I still see the mobile page as always, without the graphic changes being displayed.
How do I link the Mobile page to the desktop version to have it displayed every time I open it on my smartphone?
Hi,
Unfortunately, this is possible only if you are using the mobile theme plugin – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/
Thank you!

If I uninstall Ad Inserter Plugin then How To Insert Ads in every where like after paragraph 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and so on. I think Newpaper Theme don’t have such type of facility. I am also little bit confusion about which Ads will place specially for mobile Ads. HTML ad unit code or AMP ad unit code.

I have successfully uninstall Mobile theme plugin from Newspaper. But still Google Ads not show in the inline content of mobile version. While I have already placed Google Ads in every where i.e. Single Post Content – Article Inline AD1, Article Inline AD2, Article Inline AD3 and Ad Inserter Plugin.

Hello @prateek!
Indeed, there seems to be a problem with this feature. And yes, this feature should work for mobile too, but not on the mobile theme layout.
Thank you!
Thanks for your reply.
I would like to make the main news image of my website’s homepage to responsively fill in the browser window of every user’s device, whether it’s on desktop, mobile or iPad. You can see an example of this on https://www.thegentlemansjournal.com as the headline image fills the whole window of your browser even if you resize it. Please let me know if this is clear?
Is this something that can be achieved on the Newspaper theme?
Ok, I have uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin as you directed. But after uninstall it, all my post/article are showing in mobile unorganized manner. Then how to create a beautiful template / Single Post Mobile Template through Cloud Library Post Template. Please suggest
Yes hi, as you can see from the attached screenshot, I activated the mobile+AMP theme function, so in the end, given my position, I have to create a theme for mobile as well so that I don’t have any problems, because mobile now loads a default theme and not the desktop theme, then if you have any information to give me regarding how to make the desktop theme load on mobile, I would be grateful.

Hi,
To change the font and colour for the mobile menu please go in Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile menu/mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/0CvSgXp9H to set a background image go in Theme Panel -> Background -> Mobile menu/mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/uvDejzbX to change the font from Theme Fonts => https://www.screencast.com/t/ANBQe7hQhJd
The social icons from the mobile menu are coming from the Theme Panel -> Social/Apis -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/kKYIECB.png remove/edit them after your needs.
Thank you!
Hello,
It seems you have the AMP plugin activated. Do you have the mobile theme plugin activated?
Thank you!
Hello @satyajit3097 !
Uninstall the Mobile theme plugin from Newspaper -> Plugins and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello,
To add the social icons you need to edit with tagDiv Composer, search after social icons and set the link for social platforms https://www.screencast.com/t/kATmr6b3yg
You can manage the social icons for the mobile menu from the Theme Panel -> Social Networks => https://prnt.sc/10112uu
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
It seems you have the mobile theme + amp activated.
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to use the cloud templates, then you need to disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, and then use the responsive version.
You can disable the mobile theme plugin on the pages from the Gutenberg editor using the following option => https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
As per direction of Tagdiv Forum expert @Bettina, I have created a Single Post Template for mobile version with the help of Cloud Library Post Template for display the in article google ads as I want. I have properly save the mobile template and also assign it as Global but still why it not implemented to all post for mobile version. I don’t know why make your platform so complicated.
Also sorry to say here that after continuously writing here for my problem since 02/03/2023, problem is still open, not solve yet. Then, what is the benefit of buying Newspaper Premium Theme. So, I am requesting to all support expert, please pay proper attention of customer problem without distributing Link of your website one by one. Do you think, Why I am using harsh language here, because despite request repeatedly my problem is still not solve.
So, once again requesting to solve my problem as early as possible.
Still the layout is not the correct, after de activating the mobile theme plugin!
I can’t edit the mobile menu pop-out of my site! It’s the theme’s imported demo. My website is on “under construction” as the mobile menu pop-out does not match my website. I’ve tried to follow the theme documentation Header Builder and nothing!
I just activated the WP Super Cache function for mobile devices as you just advised me, and now the mobile theme is broken because it loads a version of the theme that is not the one installed, as you can see. So, I deactivate it or tell me how to solve it, thank you.
Thanks for this hint.
Now I’m facing a different issue.
When I change configuration in the Theme panel -> Mobile Theme, this is not stored/saved and is reverted back to default settings
