Hi,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)), as I said above.
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
I hope this information helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
If you have mobile responsive you can make changes in this path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/register.php, if you use the mobile theme plugin you need to make changes in this path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/parts/register.php
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hi Team,

Hello. I have added some custom code for tables on Newspaper X Theme. In Theme Panel -> Custom Code, I have successfully added Custom CSS, jQuery and Javascript for desktop version.
I exclusively use AMP version for mobile devices and tablets (I use the Transitional Template Mode on AMP installed plugin) and I would like to add this particular code (Custom CSS, jQuery and Javascript) in AMP version as well. I tried to insert code on Mobile Theme -> Custom Code->Your own CSS, Your Custom Javascript, but on no avail. The code classes and commands are not displayed.
Please, if possible, I recommend to follow this example URL both from desktop and from any mobile device, to understand the issue in the display of the tables (they use JSON from Google Sheets for table content and TablePress plugin for structure and auto import): https://www.bet3.gr/stoixima-prognostika/stirigma-tis-imeras/den-kanei-aggareia-i-verona/
Do I have to transform CSS, jQuery, Javascript to AMP oriented code? I do not really know to develop under AMP requirements. Any help?
Looking forward for a reply from your team. I would like to thank you very much in advance for your time and help.
Best regards,
Konstantinos Vorilas
Hi.
If I’m right those errors are related to mobile version, usually this those appear for responsive version and if I’m right those are related to mobile friendly.
Usually, this can be easy solved if you choose to use the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
I saw you have the mobile theme plugin activate, so you need to add the logo in Theme Panel -> Mobile theme -> Header => https://www.screencast.com/t/JRfLgTHiiD
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
could you please tell me how can i edit in my current mobile theme. I dont understand that when you designed the mobile theme then why you dont setup these pages when all pages are visible in mobile theme then why these pages are missing. i think this is a biggest bug from your side how can i fix this. Nothing. The problem came back.
The mobile page doesn’t appear even if I created and set into the theme.
Okay, I have a couple of issues that I think may be related:
1. With the WP Super Cache Plugin NOT installed, whenever I upload a new post and then visit my homepage, I’m being served an old version and the newest post does not show up. I have to hit refresh for it to show. Not a good experience for the user if they visit the site and see outdated content.
2. My solution was to install Wp Super Cache and have the cache clear every time a new post is published. The issue is, when I install and activate WP Super Cache, the Mobile Theme stops working and mobile users are served the desktop version. They aren’t even served the dynamic mobile version, it’s the desktop version that doesn’t even fit on screen.
Thank you for any insight you can provide. My website is Goingfor2.com
Hello,
When I activate the AMP Plug-in the system crash down and the access to the website is forbidden, in front end and in backend.
Without these plug-in I can’t use the website through mobile.
So, what can I do?
(Just a consideration: it’s not the first time that a similar conflict happens between your theme and the plug-ins that you lead and suggest us to install. How can you fix or understand without your own hand and eyes any kind of problem linked to the comunication with your theme and the plug-in that you oblige to install?
It’s a kind of paradox that there’s not in other theme that I used.
This support approach make harder to work not only for me but for you also that you can’t join inside every website to see faster and in a exact manner every problem.
I lost time with it and you lost time too.)
Hello,
The option to enable/disable the AMP is available only when the mobile theme plugin is disabled.
Thank you!
but this theme is not opening in tagdiv mobile theme builder so how can i do the changes in this please guide me and how can i off the amp function on that pages after that it will be open in mobile also.
there is no any option to off the amp on each page because i want to off the amp function on some pages. usually when we install the amp then it will automatically show the amp on/off button on each page the why that are not visible here.

Hello,
Okay thank you for the reply, I have a developer working with this. Could you just point him in the right direction of the custom work that’s needed?
Uninstalling the mobile theme is not really an option for me as it significantly increases mobile speed.
Thanks for the help.

Hello!
If you have the Mobile Theme plugin installed and active, it could be possible for some CSS code to be overwritten, that’s why, you can uninstall it and it will display the responsive version of your desktop.
Thank you!
Hello,
I currently have a developer working on modifying the style of a plugin (AAWP) he has managed to create a custom template and the plugin works fine on the desktop version of the website.
This is how it should look on Mobile and Desktop:https://gyazo.com/21ca039edb78065d48df48a39070ac3b
As you can see it works fine on desktop, but the mobile version is still showing the default theme which looks like this: https://gyazo.com/f602f85bf66e728077d44a152c059ef8
He says if he disables the tag div mobile theme plugin, it works fine.
Could anyone give him a little helping hand to point him in the right direction?
Thanks!
– Dan
Hello!
Please check if you have the mobile header global for desktop and mobile too.
If there still is that problem, then the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let us know about your results!
Thank you!
Hello,
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH so you can only add the elements that are present in the toolbar, without shortcodes(blocks).
Thank you!
Hi,
Recently, I have been following up with some issues I am getting with the Single post mobile page that I created on the Newspaper theme.
Whenever I publish a post on my website. It does show up on the desktop version under the featured posts, and under the specific categories tab as well.
But, the same post doesn’t appear under the Mobile version of the Single Post Template which has my landing page. The post does appear under the category in the menu though which is not using any cloud template.
To be simple on the Mobile version – I have a cloud template that doesn’t show up in the post until I manually purge the cache. But, it shows under the non-cloud template which is basically the category link added to my mobile menu.
When I try to open the non-cached version of a webpage on mobile. Let us say https://www.heapooh.com/?nocache I can see the post on my homepage with the same cloud template.
I have already talked to my hosting provider but the issue is more like the cloud template I guess. Can you guys please help me with it?
Regards,
Anshul Nischal

Hello!
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
If you want to use a mobile page, then you need to assign it to your homepage. For more information about this mobile version please take a look in this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
The page speed is not related only to the theme that you are using, this is affected by plugins/content/ads/ external resources, etc.
To increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/
– https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
– https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
I saw you use a mobile theme plugin for AMP, so you need to create those pages in the mobile editor, your mobile page content must be added in the mobile editor as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zy49V5vfYW This can be found at the bottom of every page when editing https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
To hide the thumbs you need to use this custom code
.td_module_mob_1 .td-module-thumb{
display: none;
}
.td_module_mob_1 .item-details {
margin: auto;
}
and look like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/Pm3H3ccBn
Set the code in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom Code => https://www.screencast.com/t/St204VtFl3NU
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,

Seems you have the Mobile theme plugin activate, when you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Also, if you create a mobile page, please check if is set correctly => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

So, which version of the 3 do you want to use for mobile?
Thank you!
I made an author page with the Cloud Templates. Connected it in Template Settings/Author template and it worked fine till yesterday (uninstalled plugin AMP for WP and mobile theme yesterday). This should have nothing to do with it but I thought I mention it anyway. Now when I click on the ‘About Us’ part on the homepage it does nothing. You remain on the homepage instead of going to the Author page. Could you please take a look how to solve this?
