Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions

Seems you have installed the Mobile theme plugin => https://www.screencast.com/t/KqhPuJV43yf. If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.

So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).

Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.

Hi. I had no issues trying this theme on another site.
But, I changed my mind and installed on a new site.
This time, I’m getting hung up on activating the AMP plugin.
I basically have had to remove the plugin via ftp to get back into my site.
My other theme plugins are installed. I am using a child theme plugin, but i have tried with and without it with the same results.
Meaning, I have tried the AMP activation with the main Newspaper theme active and I get the error.
There has been a critical error on this website.

Any ideas? Not sure if it’s the theme’s mobile plugin or not, still testing.

UPDATE: I was able to activate the AMP plugin with the mobile disabled.
BUT, I then re-activated the mobile plugin for the theme and that break the site now, too. Please help, I’m missing something. 🙂

The thing is that when you are on mobile you are redirected on amp https://i.imgur.com/Na037jb.png to stop this disable this option -> https://i.imgur.com/PLSlzY8.png from amp.
Also to have the same layout as on desktop, use the mobile theme only on amp plugin, set it on this option -> https://i.imgur.com/cGZoycM.png

You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again to disable the mobile theme.
In most cases when you get a similar message “ Error at zones: 18(models): 16(dom). T.. The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” then indeed it is a problem, most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
For this error, you can check our guide from here at point 5 -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/ also after trying the steps from our guide you do not get any good results, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin login, as well as cPanel and credentials. Yes, the problem was WP Rocket, the option “Optimize CSS Delivery” who has been making an “animation” to load the mobile version of the theme.
But i have another issue, when i hit the option in WP Rocket “Add mising image dimensions” in the desktop version my logo expands too much, but if uncheck the option gives me 0.402 CLS, how i can solve that?

Indeed when you are using the mobile theme plugin, then the layout and content will be different, here is a more complex guide of mobile theme plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ but if you want to have the same content as on desktop, then you need to use the responsive version and not the mobile theme plugin.

Hi,
Normally, the mobile theme plugin should work on mobiles without problems. Indeed some times it can be problems from cache plugins if those do not have mobile support (to be able to separate the mobile cache from desktop cache).
Usually, we recommend to use WP Super Cache with the settings from this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

thanks its working after disable mobile theme
My theme is crashing and reverts to bare bones and codes sometimes out of the blue. All plugin are active except mobile theme which I do not want to activate. It is working fine most of the time then suddenly crashes.

What would cause this?
When I restore my site, I find missing parts and have to work all over again to restore and design new sections. VERY inconvenient.
Also, there is a backup design set by newspaper thene, how can I fix this to ensure at least something is working when my site crashes?

Hello there, in the past week the featured images have disappeared from posts in my mobile theme. I have checked the theme settings and the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes are activated. What else could be the problem? My website is tvblackbox.com.au

I just checked the website with PageSpeed Insights and seems you need to delete and add again the logo from the footer for the mobile version in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> footer => https://www.screencast.com/t/TSxkvYmYkke3 and for desktop, you need to add again the logo from the footer and retina logo for header => https://www.screencast.com/t/duvfnjOzfU5u
