Hello !
No, Mobile Theme can run perfectly without AMP. You are receiving that because of this errors: https://www.screencast.com/t/Mty8OtBOX You will have to get those addressed and test it again.
Thank you !
Hello !
Always refresh your page when changing viewports. As you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/DqNKRCIG you are using mobile theme not the responsive version.
Thank you !
Hi there,
My problem is with mobile devices. I didn’t install the mobile theme and want the desktop ver just adjust to the smaller screen, but weird things happen on mobiles:
1. The theme seems to confuse and mix up categories – on mobile the headers of different sections are wrong, plus it’s mixing up posts from different categories in the same section.
2. Responsiveness is really bad and text overlaps, especially in the top grid
On desktop everything works fine, just mobile seems to experience a lot of issues.
Can someone help me sort this out?
Thank you!
Best
Maciej

& Whats about mobile theme option. when i Active amp plugin on my site the static page not show…
& Also when i active the w3 cache plugin on my website the site not open in mobile.
On the homepage of the mobile phone theme, the thumbnail in the latest articles cannot be displayed, why?
My website is http://www.tipsfootballbet.com
Please help to check it, thanks
hay the problem still the same , i make AMP and Mobile on theme panel and on AMP setting i make Transitional the website http://www.reporter.am no images no ads
I just updated from v7 to the latest v10 and I am really disappointed with the site speed scores; 62 on desktop and a terrible 12 on mobile. The main issues seem to be loading lots of JS & CSS that isn’t needed as well as render-blocking resources.
I would expect much better. Can I do anything in the theme settings to improve this? Given Google’s plans for the user experience scoring next year if improvements arent made I am going to have stop using this theme.
Is it that the mobile theme can’t work without the amp plugin?
We remove our amp and we are getting page is not mobile-friendly in google webmaster.
There is an issue with the header logo in the mobile team when connected with the amp. Especially while clicking any category, we are viewing the default template theme along with our theme. The same issue can also be found with every page when we change the layout of the mobile theme to desktop and again back to the mobile theme. How can I remove it? Please refer to the below image where you can see our logo and also the default template logo.
After theme update mobile menu is empty and instead of site mobile logo is newspaper logo appears. How can I fix that?

Hello,
My site was working fine until Friday last week: when I click on a post, I get a page that says “There has been a critical error on your website.”
This only happens when I try to view it on a desktop. When I’m on mobile (and when I’m viewing the mobile theme) it works just fine. The homepage itself, and my About Us and Contact pages, also work fine on desktop – it’s just the posts page that’s broken.
Maybe I messed up the Posts page? Is there a way that I can “reinstall” this, or maybe code that I can copy onto it?
thanks!
Hello !
On any page you are able to edit it and deactivate mobile theme if you want: https://www.screencast.com/t/sjkGcl98Em

Hi!
This is image one,
https://paste.pics/5c22584b40ae78930b3c3ef865a45769
In his image you can see the mobile is in “Mobile Version”. And it is asking to Exit Mobile version.
It was not like this before. Now it is. I dont want it to be like this.
This is image Two
https://paste.pics/a31d45bb1abb5d90cd856f0ff7b2e70f
At the bottom you can see “Go to Mobile Version”, this is how I want my website to look like when I access it on my phone. It was like this, but since probably the new theme update, it has become like this.
I tried deleting and re installing the Mobile TagDiv, it is still the same. I re installed the AMP you guys recommended, it is still the same.
When I try to take it out from “Transitional Mode” to Standard, it never changes. It just stays there in the AMP settings.
Its destroying how my pages look. People in Mobile version cannot see my About Us even… Please FIX IT.
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.

Hello,
we have website https://recepti-kuvar.rs based on NewsPaper theme. Search doesn’t work in Mobile/AMP from mobile phone. Can you advise what we can do to solve this? Thank you in advance, best regards, Miodrag
Hello !
You can achieve this using the new mobile templates as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-themes-cloud-library-v10-3-7-update/
Thank you !
Hi, I am using the mobile theme feature in newspaper.
My question is, how can I change just the homepage of the mobile theme to the desktop one. (i.e. I just want the homepage of the mobile theme, look like the “mobile version of the website when viewed on desktop”)
I have made some changes to the desktop version, and I want them to be seen by mobile users too. Only the homepage, while the posts or pages seen on mobile, must follow the “mobile theme” feature.
Thank You.
Hi tvalmeyer,
This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin, using this plugin, you’ll need to use the mobile editor to set a content for mobile pages -> https://i.imgur.com/UDU3BxW.png if you want to have the same design as on desktop, then you can use the option for individual responsive option for each page in part-> https://i.imgur.com/6rpRfSx.png or choose to use the mobile theme only for amp version -> https://i.imgur.com/o9U8WR4.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi player1, if you are using the mobile theme plugin or mobile page with WP Super Cache plugin, please make sure that you enable this option -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ -> https://i.imgur.com/bDYNZcE.png
Also using the mobile page you can edit the mobile and table view -> https://i.imgur.com/UpyT1D3.png
Hope this will help you!
Hi tamosukas, until here is understand very good!
Now if you are using the amp plugin and mobile theme plugin, then the ads need to be set in theme panel> mobile theme > https://i.imgur.com/oVvT8XB.png (using one of those options you’ll use the mobile template for mobile and amp versions) -> https://i.imgur.com/YirOz1H.png
If you are using the responsive version, then the ads from desktop will be use on mobile too.
Hope this will help you!

Hi MLHanlon, right now I see that you are using the mobile theme plugin therefore the responsive version and mobile page will be overwrite -> https://i.imgur.com/95Hryxw.png
Also that Instagram if is coming from footer, please make sure that the footer from theme panel do not have set the Instagram id -> https://i.imgur.com/pwtdOf8.png if you have it there please remove the id and disable the Instagram from footer, clear all cache then this should no longer be display in mobile footer.
Let me know the results!
Hi,
I just checked the website on desktop and mobile and for both there are no problems -> https://i.imgur.com/XrcaWCR.png now I do not know how that app should work, also our theme do not include any app, therefore I do not know what can be the problem.
Make sure that you have clear all the cache and purge the CDN, then should be no problems.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, the mobile theme plugin is still the faster version for mobile version. The mobile page is no faster as mobile theme plugin, but you can create a different content or template for mobile version and it is a little faster then responsive version. Also this new option is still in progress there are many elements that need to be optimize.
For the moment the faster mobile version with our theme can be achieve with mobile theme plugin, but in feature we hope that the mobile page bill be better.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello !
On desktop you can achieve this but not on mobile theme or mobile layout.
Thank you !
