Not sure if this is tagdiv conflicting with visual composer, but its frustrating as hell. Anytime I try to hide a row, it does not take effect. None of the mobile friendly options (like hiding on mobile) just does not work anymore.
Ever since you guys integrated tagdiv editor its just caused more headache than anything.
Please advise. I have never had this problem with this theme before this last update.

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

2 days working in the theme, and I am facing the problems:
– Static page don’t show in mobile (even after deactivate the mobile plugin in wordpress editor);
– The mobile version show in desktop some times
– Social Counter and Instagram don´t work.
All of this in a very famous WordPress theme.

I have been struggling to fix the AMP errors that we are getting.
I have the following:

The tag ‘noscript enclosure for boilerplate’ appears more than once in the document.
Only amp-boilerplate and amp-custom ‘style’ tags are allowed, and only in the document head.
The tag ‘style amp-custom’ appears more than once in the document.
An AMP component ‘script’ tag is present, but unused.

I have disabled all the plugins and tried the validation fix but nothing works and I keep getting these errors, in the AMP theme pannel settings I have changed between AMP and Mobile+AMP and that is not solving the problem either.
Please advise as I have tried everything and searched the support forum but no luck in finding the solution.

This is not a problem, that is mobile theme plugin, if you want to have the responsive version, just deactivate the mobile them plugin.

The code need to be set in theme panel> Custom code> Advance > css
Also if you want to have more control over header layout on desktop and mobile too, you can use a header template from tagDiv Cloud Library, use tagDiv Composer with header manager to edit it how you want.

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor.
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Hi,
I have created new menu items for my navigation bar. Instead of adding a subcategory, now I have added a tag as my submenu item. After doing it, I am not able to click the submenu items from my smartphone. I had to force click to open it in a new tab in order to make it work.
I found your amazing WP theme and my client loves the design. The laptop looks great but we are having problems
with the design of the hamburger menu. I am using the latest version of newspaper on our production site.

I’ve saw the notice that “ If you want to display the same elements on both mobile and desktop, don’t use the mobile theme, the main theme is already capable of this with it’s responsive design for mobiles.”
I would like to display the same, but after I turn off the mobile theme plugin, my page will go wrong.
Is there any setting I should make?
I’m getting this error from Google and I figure it means I didn’t set up something correctly within the AMP area of newspaper 9. I have the AMP plugin installed as recommended. “The tagDiv Mobile Theme now works best with the AMP plugin to provide a complete solution for your content on mobiles.”
Is this important? How do I fix this?

I managed to fix the search box issue by deactivating the child theme and reactivating the core theme.

I is it not recommended to have a child theme for Newspaper?
Problems that remain:
Logos do not appear, cannot be uploaded / inserted in the Cloud Template headers.
Tests with Elementor suggest that the Mobile Logo works, but the logo on the primary headers doesn’t.
Tagdiv Composer still often hands out error readings.
Often when I edit things, what Tagdiv Composer shows is different from what actually renders.
The rendering of the black background Cloud Template headers (style 3 – 5) is still quite poor when compared to their inherent theme panel versions.

I have a mobile developer now who is asking me if the WordPress or the theme exposes APIs so he can consume them and create a mobile app.

I have no plugins that interfere with that. I’ve checked them all.
Also, the Theme settings and WP settings are exactly set as the guides in the link you mentioned.
Additionally, the comment section is shown and working on the Mobile Theme of my website.
Something else is causing the comment section to be hidden which I can’t find.
Looking forward to your kind advice.
