This is getting ridiculous now. We’ve been having this issue update after update and it’s never resolved.
When building a new page, we are getting this error on creating a mobile page.
For desktop, it works okay but we can’t create or edit mobile pages.
We tried:
– Giving your support access to our website and they disabled all plugins on the production website without asking
– Disabling the plugins on our own but the problem persists.
– Creating a new header and footer to ensure they are not the problem. (They are not)
– Changing PHP versions
– Using a Newspaper instead of our child theme.
– Disabling Cloudflare and caching plugins to avoid conflicts.
Nothing works. We are getting error after error after error.
On the mobile page editor, we keep getting Delete text injected on top of the page. I have no idea why and where that is injected.
I’ve found it in obscure, minimized files js_files_for_widgets.min.js and js_files_for_wrapper.min.js
what does it do? Is it possible that is the cause of the problem?
I repeat I’ve gone through your page TD Composer not working and nothing helped.
Hi,
Please check if you have the mobile theme plugin enabled.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Hello,
Please try to use this custom code css .td-mobile-content .td-mobile-main-menu {
display: flex!important;
flex-direction: column;
}
You can change the flex-direction: column-reverse.
Set the code in Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
Thank you!
Hello!
The mobile theme is optimized for speed, but you have fewer options for customization.
You can also use the other two options, but do not use more features that can cause problems with speed. Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/what-is-ajax-preloading/
Thank you!
Hello,
I have a problem with the newspaper theme. I used a Big Grid Flexi 5 module to showcase some articles that I filtered into a category, but although in the editor view, on the mobile view, it works fine, it shows the filtered articles, when I access it from my actual mobile phone, it shows all latest articles, so the filter doesn’t work.
What can I do? I need some help to fix this.
This seems to be a massive issue for this theme. I’ve looked over a number of other posts on this specific topic. The only support that is given is mostly unhelpful and sends people on a wild goose chase. Though the real problem lies with the theme itself.
My question is a simple one, If and when will the theme be updated to meet all the Core Web Vitals criteria?
At this stage I am looking at moving my website over to a different theme, even after using Newspaper for over 4 years. This would be a huge job though it currently seems to be my only option to save my website from Google search death.
My simple post page with no ads currently fails LCP, FCP & TTFB with a mobile score of 38/100
No good at all. A note to anyone else experiencing issues with there Core Web Vitals, WP Rocket (Paid Plugin) will help bring your score up, but will not help you pass Core Web Vitals.
I really like everything about this theme (apart from current issues with CWV) and don’t want to lose it but this could be the end.
Please team give us some real help and update the theme ASAP.
Craig.
Thank you, Anamaria, however, I was unable to replicate the menu as found in the Urban Observer pre-built template I used, despite following the link in (1) above.
Please, can you help me with a better way for my mobile menu to look like that of Urban Observer template?

I will be glad if you assist me with more direct and simple steps. I am a newbie to Newspaper Theme.
For (3), I want to show Adsense ads.
Best regards.
Hello!
We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
You can use it on any version you like the most because you will add the content in Gutenberg.
Thank you!
I am using lazy load from the newspaper theme panel (Version 12.6.5). It works fine but i don’t want the above the fold images to have the lazy load. So, it helps to load the images immediately improving the performance. Please advise if it is possible to disable lazy load for images above the fold view in mobile and in desktop.
1. I just realised that my mobile menu is no longer showing, instead, I am seeing “Popup modal”, please how do I make the mobile menu show because it was showing before when I installed the demo (Urban Observer).

2. Post inline ads not working… If I add ad codes in the 3 inline ad spaces, there all cluster together. No option to select paragraphs where the inline ads will show. How do I fix this, please?

3. Ads in the Theme panel are not working. I have inserted all ad codes but nothing is showing up on the site. Is there a way to use the ad codes on the Theme panel?

Hello,
Do you recommend using the Mobile Theme or another mobile option for a Newspaper Theme WordPress site that includes a lot of video and audio? Is one better suited for video and audio in terms of speed, format adaptability, etc? Thank you.
Please disregard the issue about landscape layout. I found it.
When you say “The mobile theme plugin is compatible only with the amp plugin from our theme.”, does that mean there’s an AMP plugin within the theme or is that another plugin? I’m not seeing a tagdiv plugin called ‘AMP’.
Also, when trying to activate tagDiv Mobile Theme, it does not activate. Do you need administrator login to troubleshoot?
Thanks.
After I have deactivated then reactivated the mobile theme, everything is translated !
Thank you very much !

So just use the mobile theme without the amp plugin?
Also tagdiv composer no longer shows the layout for landscape view for mobile devices. Can that be fixed?
Hi,
I tested using the AIOSEO with the tagdiv mobile theme and didn’t notice an issue -> https://i.imgur.com/ruUPxDA.png. Can you please provide access to investigate it?
After investigating, we’ll try to come up with a solution, but we can’t guarantee anything. On a side note, the theme is compatible with Yoast SEO, but other users using this plugin haven’t reported such an issue to us
Thank you!
I have announced countless times that there is an issue between AIOSEO and tagDiv Mobile Theme main menu, which is not working. I had promises that it will be solved in a future update but…it seems that tagdiv team are not really interested in AIOSEO users, they favor those from Yoast more. I still have hope that it will be resolved. Thank u.
Hello @Anamaria,
Now you have shared a screenshot with a good INP score for desktop. Nobody reported that there was an issue with a poor INP score. So this is irrelevant.
As previously stated twice: The issue is with INP on mobile. The issue is with Newspaper theme. Your main demo that is “optimized” does not meet the required criteria for origin.
You can deny it as much as you want, try to confuse by involving prebuilt websites that no one mentioned, blame it on ads etc.
Either way, it doesn’t change the fact that the issue is with the theme.
Another very important aspect is that we offer free support to you by testing and outlining the bugs and issues in your theme so you can improve it.
Hello,
The mobile theme plugin is compatible only with the amp plugin from our theme.
Also, I don’t recommend to using amp, because it is deprecated -> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp
Thank you!
Hello,
after the theme update we have another problem of our Site https://autogazette.de
The background colour of the menu/Icon headers of the articles are now black on the mobile site and no longer blue as on the desktop site, Exception is the Resort elektroautos (see Side Bar like “Anzeige”, “Transoformation” etc.)
On the Home-Page is ist correct in Blue:
https://autogazette.de/Homepage Header in Side bar in blue, this ist correct
When I try to make changes under Theme Colors, it does not work because Save Settings does not work (the save icon rotates and rotates without saving)
Furthermore: What are the names of the this items the are now black in the panel? So i can change it?
Thanks in advance, Frank
Hello and thank you for the support but the link didn’t have any details on how to fix the CLS issues.
Please, can you help with that?
Meanwhile, I don’t use Mobile Theme and I have the Urban Observer pre-website installed.
Hello Waqar!
Unfortunately, we do not have any features like this for the mobile theme layout.
For customization and other services, you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/.
Thank you for understanding!

Dear Theme Developers,
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently using Newspaper Theme version 12.6.5 with the Town Talk demo installed. I’ve encountered an issue that I hope you can assist me with.
Recently, I noticed a bug related to the Ads section, specifically under Ads > Article Bottom Ads. The content displayed to visitors does not match the code I have inserted in the theme settings. This discrepancy only occurs in the desktop version; the Mobile Theme > Mobile Ads > ARTICLE BOTTOM AD section updates and displays correctly in real time without any issues.
This issue seems to suggest a bug in the theme or a conflict that prevents the Article Bottom Ads section from updating as intended on desktop views. It’s critical for our advertising strategy that the ads display correctly and can be updated promptly.
Could you please investigate this issue? Any guidance on resolving it would be greatly appreciated, as it directly impacts our site’s functionality and user experience.
Thank you in advance for your time and support. I look forward to your prompt response and a possible solution.
Best regards,
Barbara
