Hello I’m trying to insert the ads in the version of the theme for mobile, but they do not see only the 720×90 measurement is shown and this does not look good. which I could do in this case thanks.
Hi,
It could be that cache that is causing the issue. The mobile theme is sensitive when it comes to caching. That could be serving the mobile style to be loaded on desktop, when it should not. The mobile theme should detect and load only when needed, and that is what it does if no interference is present

Hi,
That cannot be changed. That is the way the mobile theme is designed, the front page content cannot be edited. The mobile theme will apply predefined templates for the front page, post page, category page, smart lists etc. This is intended for the purpose of making the mobile theme as light as possible on performance.
Content for mobile pages is limited to the Mobile editor.
You can choose not to activate the plugin, then the same content from desktop will be displayed, adapted for all devices.
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile theme will not display content built with the composer. Content for pages when the mobile theme plugin is active, is limited to the Mobile editor. This is intended for the purpose of making the mobile theme as light as possible. On the mobile front page by default there will be a grid displaying 3 posts from the Featured category
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Then a section displaying Latest posts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
This plugin is optional, you can choose not to use it. Then the same content from desktop will be displayed on all devices. The main theme is fully responsive and will adapt for the best results.
Thanks
Update: Deactivating Yoast Seo makes the responsive mobile theme to work fine. But Yoast Seo is supposed to be compatible with Newspaper theme.
I get this error:
EER_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
when I try to access the website from my mobile and that too only when I try to access any page from the footer menu. Namely,
– disclaimer
– privacy policy
– write for ep
– contact
etc
The theme is fully responsive, isn’t this suppose to work?
Hello, tagDiv
First, thanks form the Newspaper theme!
Second, How to activate the Top Menu on Mobile Menu? I need the two menus, top and main menu, displayed on mobile mode.
Att. Gustavo S. Serra
Hello, thank you for your information, but how can I change Homepage – the “Mobile Theme” single predefined page template.

Hi,
i need to add the blog shortcode (like [display-posts category=”must-read”]) on mobile editor, but it seems don´t work with that, why is that?
I have severals categories al differents content on that pages (not only category post, but texts, photos…), so… What can i do to make it show the post i want?
Thank you
Hi,
You could do that with a code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1VIlM3x0SuXM
.single .td-post-title .entry-title {
font-weight: bold;
}
Enter the code in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS section. Maybe clear the cache after entering the code.
Thanks
Thanks for your reply.
I’ve done that already. There is no code in there not even for mobile theme (the only code is the AdSense verification code in the <head>) and I cleaned the cache. It’s very awkard that the articles shows adsense in differetn location with different browsers:
http://www.orrorea33giri.com/burt-ward-boy-wonder-i-love-you-orange-colored-sky-frank-zappa/
With Chrome I see a banner in the article (inline) and one at the bottom of the page (below the footer)
With Firefox I see a big banner above the title and also at the bottom of the page (below the footer).
I’m really puzzled
Hi Team,
We can bold the post title for desktop view through theme panel. Then, how could we bold the post title in mobile view?
Thank you.
Hello Ximo,
Please notice that our theme has a version responsive for mobile and the second way for mobile is through Mobile Theme Plugin. Also, if you want to see the exact layout which is on desktop for mobile, you should find the Request Desktop Site settings from browser, according to this tutorial, like here -> https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-request-desktop-version-of-a-web-site-in-chrome-for-android/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
If you use the mobile theme, on the front page this will display a grid containing the latest posts from the featured category. There is no option to change the sorting for this grid.
To have exactly the same content from desktop on mobile, the mobile plugin has to be deactivated. This plugin is optional, the main theme is fully responsive and will adapt on each device. More information about the mobile theme here

Thanks
Hi,
The same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile, if the mobile theme plugin is deactivated. When this plugin is active this allow you to set a different menu, different page content etc.
The mobile theme plugin is optional, as the main theme is fully responsive in design and will adapt the website for every device.

Hi,
I have inspected the website, but I do not see this problem present at the moment, on any page, post, category page etc. The mobile theme overlay is supposed to be displayed only on mobile, but there could be conflicts with other plugins, or caching plugins that can cause this to happen.
Thanks
Hello manoelvlm,
Unfortunately, I cannot access your website URL so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Also, if you want to change the background gradient from the Mobile Menu section, notice that you can do this from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/LUg8xQ7mzA Check this section because from there you can adjust your mobile menu background as you want.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, ads have to be inserted in the mobile section as well, in order to be displayed on mobile

Hi,
For starters, I love your theme. It has been a pleasure using it.
I just recently came across a problem and it seems to be a bug on my site to do with the Newspaper theme. When you open up my site (gandemagazine.com) the mobile transparent menu screen, without the menu options, flashes across my site. Every time you select a new page it happens again.
I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of this?
Thank you,
Ryan
Hi folks
although I’m not updating this thread anymore; note that I have been playing with the system font stack concept a bit more in Fall 2017 — and I covered how to hack the theme for this a page or two back — but have now decided for new project I do want Google fonts for the page text on desktop, Georgia for headers, but I want system font stacks for all mobile … so how to do THAT ?
Fun article I can recommend on this topic — only for those who want to mess with their font setup beyond the theme panel (TagDiv can’t help you with this topic!):

I uploaded the images to another service. Here’s what I’m going to try to explain. I noticed that there is an image in conjunction with a demo theme on the mobile theme of the demo tech theme: https://imgur.com/T4ZlcIj.
Then I went to my website and saw that a gradient appeared too, which is what I want, so there is no confusion: https://imgur.com/r7jmp3j
However, this gradient does not remain. When you refresh the page, it looks the same as I reported: https://imgur.com/9SekzqG
I hope you understood my problem. I’m using Google Translate, so there may be a bit of confusion.
Hi,
That could be changed with some custom code, at the moment there are no theme options to customize the font properties when using the mobile theme plugin.
You could change the paragraph font size for the post content for example, with a code like this (the default is 15px)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/auDDK8DFhu
.td-post-content p {
font-size: 18px;
}
Enter the code in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS section.
Thanks
Hi
I set up AdSense and it shows the ads on the desktop correctly but not in the mobile although I haven’t disabled it in the theme panel.
Could you please help?
This is the URL: http://www.orrorea33giri.com

Hi Team,
When we use the mobile theme, the font size of paragraph (or content) is too small for reading. How can we just change the font size of paragraph on mobile screen? Please advise. Thanks.
Hello manoelvlm,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add any background to a category tab on mobile, sorry! You should try using such a custom code to do this but please notice that is not a simple task which required to do some custom work and we cannot provide something like this, at the moment, sorry! As a hint, you can provide your website and show me where exactly you want to make changes, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
