sorry.. not in menu, in mobile theme
Hi
For the moment we don’t plan to change this implementation as the scope of mobile theme plugin was to load a simpler version of the page which requires fewer resources and a clean layout.
Thanks!
Hi
@multibaseportugal this issue is usually caused by cache or cdn. Try to clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.
@rchjantonio I’ve checked your site and not it’s displayed fine. If you still have this issue try to clear all caches then test again.
@ravester I’ve checked your site and the mobile menu works fine. The pages are empty because you’re using mobile theme an you didn’t added any content in mobile editor. Please check this link for more detail about how mobile theme works: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately the W3TC was not tested with the theme so I cannot make any recommendations, sorry! From what I know the mobile theme plugin will not work with W3TC, so in case that you want to use this cache plugin I suggest to disable it.
Please note that we cannot offer support for plugin implementation or settings – https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy Our recommendation for cache is Wp Super Cache with this configuration – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks!
Hi hadharm,
2)If you want to have that border for each thumb, please try a bit of CSS code to do that.
The code is ->
.td-module-thumb{

border-radius: 5px;
}
The result -> http://screencast.com/t/xQxQZod9l4
3)Try the below method ->
.comments article {
border:1px solid black;
}
The result -> http://screencast.com/t/f6LgaFvib
5)I have explained you above regarding on this way.
1) http://screencast.com/t/gB4iQcx5 -> http://screencast.com/t/LMZVWnSC9M First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme because in this version we have introduced these settings.
2)Please check the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-make-this/ and try to implement the last modified date as my explanation. Hello jauburn,
If you want to show the top bar menu for mobile mode, you have to use a bit of CSS code to show it. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area. Please notice that the Tob Bar menu has been designed to be hidden to the mobile view. This was a design choice.
The code is ->
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px){
div.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display:block !important;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}
}
The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/1b80RNnyn
Thanks.

There was a conflict between Mobile theme plugin and SEO By Yoast plugin. Try delete the mobile theme plugin and install this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.
Let us know ho it goes.

Hi Guys,
I am trying to insert a carousel image slider in the mid section of my Home Page as per below link: https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-swipe-slider/, however, this version seems to be only work when you swipe the images. It is a great solution on a mobile but PC, not sure.
Question 1:
Is there a way to insert an option to move to another image as seen on this example: http://coolcarousels.frebsite.nl/c/59/?
Question 2:
This revolution slider version https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-swipe-slider/, has default menu: Beach, Trip, Hiking. I should be able to change that but I am not sure. Ideally, if possible, I would like to show only images.
Can you advise?
Thank you very much for your help.
Anna
Hello chipchick,
Unfortunately, the mobile theme has been designed to be used only with our product (Newspaper) and not for other themes, sorry! If you want to develop this way and if you want to adjust our mobile theme to another theme, please notice that you will have to hire a freelancer/developer to help you because this task involve additional customizations through the code and we cannot provide a solution and support in this regard,sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Our website (www.kolkata24x7.com) absolutely needs Total Cache Plugin with Page Cache method Memcached, without this our site crashes when a huge traffic arrives but we are experiencing (with enabling the Total Cache) few issues now when we have activated these Newspaper theme. Sometimes the Mobile view is loading at Destop computers, similarly the Desktop version view is showing for few pages when we are seeing the site on mobile.
Another issue is when we are enabling the “CSS minify settings” at Total Cache, then the site is loosing the css effects.
Please suggest how to configure the Total Cache Plugin with this Newspaper theme otherwise we will be in deep troubles.
Cant see my page on mobile. I get an error that says “The mobile theme path couldn’t be set. Please check if you already have another mobile theme plugin active and disable it…”. I’m sure i dont have another plugin installed messing the cache.
Please advice.
Thanks.
I’ve just noticed this extra space between the mobile menu and featured images (big grid 4)
On desktop everthing works fine.
What I did that might have cause this:
-
Tried to rename the theme/child folder (is now reverted back to default)
Installed the new Visual Composer that came with 7.4
Could you let me know how to fix it ? Thank you in advance for your help.

Ohhh I forget to ask.
3. I am using the mobile theme plugin but I want to create a sidebar for mobile users. How can I get this done???
Having issues with Mobile theme enabled. I’ve built blocks on the home page for desktop, but have nothing in the mobile editor (I just expected the default features and latest articles to show up).
However, when I visit the site on my iPhone, I see all the block codes.
I’ve added text in the mobile editor and the text will not show up.
Is there a setting I’m missing, an issue, or conflict?
Cleared caches, everything, but still getting the issue.
Hi there,
We want to use the Newspaper Mobile Theme on Mobile only. Currently, we have a different theme in use for Desktop. The Mobile Theme instructions specify that the homepage template appears only if a static page is used. However, we can’t have a static page set to display in our reading settings, because that conflicts with our desktop theme. Is there another way to have the Mobile Theme display its Homepage Template, without setting a static page to display in the Reading settings?
Thanks!
I have based my settings on one of the demos. But I
can’t seem to modify this green color that appear here and
there from the “news magazine demo”. I’ve checked “Theme Panel / Theme Colors” and “general theme colors, main menu colors / mobile menu colors. But still as the page load the green lines are shown in the menu as the page loads.. it’s replaced by my settings once the page has loaded completely but it looks a bit strange.
I also disabled / enabled speed booster plugin to see if it’s cache related.. but no.
Are there more color settings?
Hi
We haven’t tested cloudflare’s rocket loader with the theme but usually the rocket loader or automatic compression of js resources cause this. We don’t recommend using an autominify tool as this could generate js conflicts and break features that use js, function as in your case mobile menu and search.
Thanks!
Hello barcaman,
The Mobile Theme is an optional plugin which come bundled with the theme and if you want this feature, you will have to separately installed in the same way when you install a new plugin, using the Upload Plugin, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/9mSBrMzBYDp
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi
I’ve checked the custom post types with mobile theme and they works fine, however to display posts from a custom post type on homepage you need to modify the main query which is made in: http://screencast.com/t/kcPzA17dX
This is a complex task which involve good codeing skills and many tests in order to be achieved.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
Thanks!
I have disabled mobile theme plugin and now it displays all blocks and contents properly, but when I enable the plugin it does not.
Anyways I am satisfied how site works on mobile now and will not use mobile plugin afterwards.
Thank you.
Hello david.filat,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme with the latest version of required plugins and then, please make sure that you have enabled the Comment Box. I have tested on my side and the Disqus still appearing good and for the mobile theme, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/XDyADYmJJrm Disable all the untested plugins if you are suing something like this and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and try it again.
Thanks for the message!
It seems that the mobile theme doesn’t recognize the CF 7 shortcodes. How can be added support for these?
Hi
I’ve checked your site and it’s displayed fine on mobile devices now: http://screencast.com/t/y9Ulcfwpe0k If you use mobile theme plugin then the content added with Visual Composer won’t be displayed on mobile devices. Please check this link for more details about how mobile theme works: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks!
Hi
You can try this css in theme apnel > custom code > custom css to change the layout of module 10 for mobile: http://screencast.com/t/3kPG3WqoZN4D
@media(max-width: 768px){
.td_module_10 .td-module-thumb .entry-thumb,
.td_module_10 .td-module-thumb {
width: 100%!important;
}
.td_module_10 .item-details{
margin-left: 0;
}
.td_module_10 .td-module-thumb {
position: relative;
}
.td_module_10 .td-excerpt {
display: block;
}
}
If you want the css to be applied only for block 11 add .td_block_11 class before each .td_module_10
Thanks!
