Hi, I have not had the time to come up with this issue, since my last update the Mobile theme is not showing up the name of the authors of articles on my mobile site… how can I fix this please??
Secondly, with the new Theme Update, I have been trying to delete the old theme (on appearance > themes…) in order to upload the new theme… The old theme would not delete, its says: “Deletion failed: The requested theme does not exist.” – How can I fix this please??
How can I upload the new theme?
Thanks
and Some images do not appear in the mobile theme.
Hi MarioBoriassi,
For other users who access this topic, please notice that after several investigations in this regard have concluded that this type of issue come from WP Supercache which is not fully compatible with WordPress 4.6 and that’s why this problem occur. We hope that WP Super cache plugin will be updated it as soon as possible and that problem will be fixed. Notice that this issue appears and on Mobile Theme from Jetpack when the caching plugin is active.
Please notice that we have reported this issue to Jetpack and we are waiting for an update from them. Until that, you should use our workaround posted here -> https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/issues/132
Also, please try the theme without any untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting in the theme.
Thanks for the message and sorry for the inconvenience!
Hello all,
Until further investigation, we noticed that exists an error in or mobile theme plugin. Please notice that you should edit the plugin’s folder and then you have to add the next snippet of the code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/6dU4ZWUIa Clear all your caches and test it again.
Thanks for the message!
well the error problem is solved. just another issue with mobile theme. try my link http://www.theindianfeed.in/ in opera mini. Its not shoeing properly. Menus are covering the page. will appreciate if you can help on this too.
Hi
It seems that there is a conflict between last version of SEO Yoast an Mobile theme plugin. We found a temporary solution which seems to work fine. Try to install this version of Mobile theme plugin: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Good Morning Support,
I just upgraded to the latest version of the News Paper Theme. Since doing so, the mobile theme is doing what expected. When browsing our website on mobile devices, the theme keeps switching from responsive to mobile theme ? I am using WP Super Cache, however this has never caused a problem in earlier versions. We are also using the latest version of WordPress. Can someone shed some light on this ?
Thanks,
Thanks Catalin,
from my side, I uninstalled the theme, used FTP to upload the theme, installed the latest mobile plugin but the error is still there:
Note the error came only on Homepage, other pages are OK.
here is the error that came after the latest articles module at homepage:
wp booster error:
td_api_base: mark_used_on_page: a comment
with ID: td_remore_cache is not set
wp booster error:
Missing parameter: ‘file’
Hope this will help.
Meanwhile the august mobile plugin version is working fine as you can see on my site http://www.midronepro.com

Hello,
The filed you mentioned was destined for google’s analytics code. We have not tested the fb pixel code in that field.
Here is another topic on the subject: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/facebook-pixel-install/
If you want to implement the pixel code in the head tag you also have to place the code in the mobile theme head tag here: http://screencast.com/t/CunYAivt
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately the responsive layout cannot be removed. Our theme does not have a “request desktop version” button for mobile. We did not build our theme with this in mind. We built the theme so everyone can access it on any device. This is why responsiveness is added to any theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
This is a wp super cache compatibility issue between the plugin and the latest vertsion of WP. This happnes even with the jetpack mobile thee. It a plugin issue, not a theme related issue. We have found a solution for it however until the plugin authors decide to update it. It is a simple one line o code solution:
https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/issues/132
http://screencast.com/t/YLN48vYD0r9
Thank you!
Hi
That is default layout for share buttons on mobile. You can try this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css to make that text visible:
@media (max-width: 374px){
.td-social-facebook .td-social-but-text {
display: inline-block!important;
}
}
Hope this helps!
Thanks!
Hello Newspaper.. i want to ask about your mobile themes..
i am using it and my question is..
if i am using mobile themes..
what i put ini here :
http://prntscr.com/ci6063
(theme panel -> analytics)
it will goes to mobile themes too right?
because i put facebook pixel code there..
and i want to retarget my visitor..
Just updated to 7.4 and encountered a little odd issue.
When (on mobile) viewing a single post the whole site gets a little to wide for the actual browswer-window. The pictures seems to be out of alignment with the rest of the content.
If i press down on the screen av swipe left a white edge appear to the right of the main-menu (as seen in the first of the three pictures included).
I have tried to disable all my ads, updated to the latest version of the child-theme as well as tried without the child-theme all togheter. Nothing seems to help. The issue does not occur when on the landing/index page. Only on post-pages.
Site is enkelteknik.se if you want to see the issue. Only on the individual articles. The landning page is fine.

Hi,
Thanks for the answer. But If i disable the Tag Div Mobile Theme, There is still a responsive layout for phones that makes it different than the computer layout.

Revolution Sliders not allowing users to scroll down on mobile and tablets
You can see what I mean here: https://www.wpmultiverse.com/
I have checked https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/ and searched around the web but nothing.
Yep. Same here. wp-super-cache serves up the desktop theme to mobile users unles they are looged in, in which case it’s bypass know users option kick in. The inability to use widgets or shortcode embeds was the final show stopper for me as I use Social Login which requires those features. Short story – mobile theme won’t allow users to login with Facebook, Twitter etc.

Hi,
I’m not sure if this is an issue that happens with anyone else, but whenever I use a cache (whether it’s server-side caching or via the WP Super Cache WordPress plugin) the mobile theme works intermittently, meaning that sometimes it loads and sometimes it doesn’t, and when it doesn’t, it falls back on the “responsive” theme. If I turn the cache off, the mobile theme loads fine on every single pageload with no issues.
At the current moment I have the cache turned off (which is why if you go to our site you will see the mobile version instead of the responsive version) however this is not ideal, as we are currently experiencing a massive traffic spike and it’s slowing the server down.
There’s a VERY specific reason why I do not want to use the responsive theme on mobile. It has a lot to do with this: http://petapixel.com/2016/02/07/readers-reporting-auto-redirecting-ads-on-mobile/. Even though they’re hidden visually, the codes for our desktop ads still load on mobile devices, which causes the redirect issue.
Is there something within the Mobile theme or plugin that can be “switched off” so that it doesn’t cause the mobile theme hiccups when a caching system is in use?
– Dustin
I think there is setting in theme panel to disable the mobile theme option.
Same here. Images used by the theme are not showing. All manually coded images (in the posts) are showing, all Woocommerce images are showing…but those served by theme on homepage, sidebar blocks, etc (using VC) are not showing.
Version 7.1.1 (tried w and w/o Speed Booster)
What are some common reasons images would not display on a desktop? They are fine on mobile- or they may be cached.
Hi Catalin,
I did mention that I have encountered this issue the same day of the update but no answer. I updated the theme via Envato toolkit. I had to upload the mobile plugin from the last update in august.
I think the problem is with Envato toolkit as this time I can´t even see Install below the mobile plugin.

Hi,
Well we cannot see the site as you have a coming soon page. Please first of all make sure you have the latest version of the theme and of the plugins bundled with the theme.
In order to update the theme you can follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
As for the plugins the same method as updating visual composer applies: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
(Visual composer, revolutions slider, social counter and mobile theme)
If the issue is still there when using the latest updates, then please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test your site again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello artiium21,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme plugin. So, please notice that this is the new concept for mobile mode and this feature has been designed to display on your front page only the 3 Big Grids at the top of the page sorted by Featured Category, some text, if you will add it from Mobile Editor in Visual Composer and the Latest Articles module which is displayed at the very bottom of the page.For more information about mobile theme, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you are unhappy with this plugin, please notice that you can simply disable it from the Plugins Area (Mobile Theme plugin) and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile mode which displays all the elements from your desktop version but in responsiveness mode.
Thanks for your understanding!
