Hiding a block/column/row is possible, with the tagDiv composer. Simply click on the block in this case, which you want to hide on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2cCpRkp3s9Q
Switch to mobile view and also access the CSS tab, scroll down and the setting is there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gtvxUqN5
Then that element will not be displayed on mobile. This will not work when the mobile theme is active, the composer cannot be used on mobile pages.
The post subtitle could only be changed with CSS code, there is no color setting for it at the moment. Try a code like this in Theme panel->Custom CSs
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Dvyb3sdQvwH
Use the color you want in the code
.single .td-post-sub-title {
color: blue;
}
Thanks. Does the google analytics code in the analytics section work for the mobile theme?
I don’t know why but this problem is also on my demo site, not only on my production site. This happen even with CDN (CloudFlare: Cache+Minify), Cache and all external plugins deactivated and exclusively on the Twitch icon. I’ve also cleared the custom mobile CSS and re-installed the tadDiv mobile plugin.
Anyway, what about the rich snippet problem?
Hello Sebastian Escobar,
Please notice that if you want to use the Mobile Plugin you will not customize the mobile pages, sorry! Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you will use the General Responsive Mode, you can customize mobile page using the TD Composer.
Hope that help!
Thanks.
Hello Juan,
Thank you for your appreciation. You can try adding this css code in your theme panel-> custom code section:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full, .td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap, .td-header-wrap .td-header-main-menu{
height: 40px !important;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle i, .header-search-wrap .td-icon-search{
line-height:42px;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle i{
width: 40px;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle i, .header-search-wrap .td-icon-search{
width: 40px;
}
}
You can change the values in the code to your preference.
Thank you!
Hi..
Thanks for the solution, have been resolv.
I have new problem, can i hide some block for mobile view? But not with mobile theme. Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for your appreciation.
Unfortunately you will only be able to do this if you move the related articles to the sidebar. The content and sidebar are 2 separate containers that show one after the other on mobile devices. You can get the sidebar to show either before your post or after your post. You cannot get it to show ‘inside’ the post content.
Sorry but there is no simple way to have the sidebar show before the related articles.
Thank you!
You could test the speed with Google insights tool and mobile friendly tool
– https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
– https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly
Or there might be more popular testing tools online.
Thanks, It’s work, but I have to do it manual.
how to make it automatic from Theme Panel or form live CSS?
or what main fonts should I resize to make them all fit? because I’ve used Newspaper and it’s fine.
If you can answer also this question, I would like to ask:
– When can newsmag be supported with AMP plugins, as provided for the newspaper?
– When can newsmags organize mobile-featured ads as provided for the newspaper template?
Sorry, my question is too many. Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Please add this custom css code in the theme panel custom code section or your mobile theme custom code section:
@media(max-width:767px){
.header-search-wrap{
display:none;
}
}
Thank you!
From what I can see, the menu seems to work on mobile but after a period of waiting time. The menu will open once the website is loaded, there seems to be something that delays the loading.
There are some errors mentioning an analytics widget and a 403 forbidden on an image that cannot be found while something tries to load it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ATXDcKRnSKs
This can delay the website loading time and also cause issues on mobile. I would suggest as a first step to deactivate as a quick test all the plugins, leave only theme plugins and woocommerce active. Check to see if this has any effect. Let us know.
Hi,
Our site betweencarpools.com has been going down at random times throughout the day, I have spoke to wpsitecare – our maintenance team as well as siteground – they say there seems to be issue with theme. Can you see their response below.. and let me know what can be done. This is big issue for us.
Hello Shaindy,
Thank you for contacting our Help Desk.
I have carefully revised the server logs and found it was overloaded the last time at:
[Tue Feb 20 09:41:52.629698 2018] [:error] [pid 31827] Execute of /home/shaindy7/public_html/index.php stopped because of load 33.55
I have found that at that time and hour 121 HTTP requests were generated by the following website:
Code:
root@c38433.sgvps.net [/usr/local/apache/domlogs]# cat shaindy7/betweencarpools.com-ssl_log | grep 20/Feb/2018:09:41 | wc -l
121
I have analyzed what kind of requests these were and from what I noticed the requests were mainly related to the Newspaper theme and were calling the admin-ajax.php script:
Code:
root@c38433.sgvps.net [/usr/local/apache/domlogs]# cat shaindy7/betweencarpools.com-ssl_log | grep 20/Feb/2018:09:41 | grep admin-ajax.php | wc -l
51
Here is a log of such a request:
Code:
68.197.246.165 – – [20/Feb/2018:09:41:38 -0600] “POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=8.0 HTTP/1.0” 503 – “https://betweencarpools.com/?s=Nut+brittle” “Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 11_2_5 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/604.5.6 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/11.0 Mobile/15D60 Safari/604.1”
I have also found that all of these requests related to the theme, which caused the execution of the admin-ajax.php script were coming from this IP:
55 — 68.197.246.165
Which belongs to external provider:
Code:
htodorsavov@Todor-Savov:~$ host 68.197.246.165
165.246.197.68.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer ool-44c5f6a5.dyn.optonline.net.
I am not sure what this behavior is due to but it seems to be related to the theme as I mentioned.
I would recommend you to revise it and its functionalities or contact the theme developers to revise them for you.
Should you need our further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us back at anytime.
Best Regards

Hi,
Similar issue here. Ads appear on all pages on desktop but they don’t appear on some pages on mobile. For instance, the following pages don’t show Google Ads on mobile:
https://startupselfie.net/2018/03/13/fugu-inflatable-suitcase/
https://startupselfie.net/2018/03/02/lit-motors-c-1-self-balancing-motorcycle/
https://startupselfie.net/2018/03/02/smartflower-pop-all-in-one-solar-system/
Please advise.
No, really the BigGrid 1 is no responsive in https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1.
Anyway, the client prefers Mobile Theme, but I have some problems for to show the content because I have some pages and no only posts. I can see the content space for mobile theme in pages accept HTML code but no the tagDiv composer code. How can I add for example a column of post in mobile page? Please do you have some documentation for do this? Thank you
Hello team. First of all, you guys made an amazing job with this theme. It is fast, full of features and the support here is amazing. Thank you!
OK, so I’m currently using Newspaper 8 (Latest version) on my website. I would like to make the mobile top bar a little bit smaller.
This is the default mobile header (Not mobile theme)
https://imgur.com/zWf2TTC
And this is what I would like it to be (If possible)
https://imgur.com/K8aeQgn
If you also notice on the second image above which I photoshop, the menu and search icons are moved a little bit towards the left and right edges so I would also like to do this, if possible.
I didn’t see a setting for these in the Theme panel but if there is, please point me in the right direction. If, it can only be done using CSS code, could you please provide me with the code needed?
Thank you for your time.
Juan.
Hi and congrats for your theme! I would like to know if it possible to show first my sidebar and then the related articles.(mobile view) I have disabled the mobile theme plugin and the AMP.
Thanks
Hello,
I found a bug in the Newspaper’s mobile theme. The social icon of Twitch is empty and doesn’t respect the order. I have already tried to fix it by deactivating every plugin apart tagDiv ones and uploading the latest version of tagDiv Mobile plugin.
Here’s a screenshot:

I also noticed that the internal reviews vote/comment is incoherent:

I mean the vote number inside the article is from 1 to 10 and in the rich snippet on search engine is from 1 to 5 (3,8 in the screenshot above). Can you please fix it and make it coherent?
Link this (7,3/10):

Thank you in advance.
Hi,
Please excuse the delay, there were a few days off due to the Easter celebration.
If you have the mobile theme plugin activated, then that would be possible only thorough custom code. Provide a link to your website and I will give you a solution. Mention for what elements you want to make this changes and in which locations.
If the mobile theme is not used, then you can set font properties for each device, when creating/editing the page with the composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/6ZuxRRMwPni
Thanks
Hello dezbee,
I have inspected your website on mobile but I did not saw any shortcodes. It seems to work as expected, without any problem. If the page has been made via Visual Composer and then you have disabled it you will get this error. Notice that we recommend using our page builder (TD Composer to create your own page).
Thanks for your understanding!
I see…Thanks. Is there a tool that I can use to test the mobile theme look and speed? Because except google testmysite, the rest I have tried show the responsive theme…
Hello,
¿Can I delete this banner only for homepage at mobile version?
¿Whith a special code or similar? my web: soyunperro . com

Hi,
From what I can see at the moment, the mobile front page is displayed on desktop at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/upeqZO14vJR
That could be caused and it is in general, by caching implementations. The mobile theme is sensitive when it comes to caching. It is only tested and works best with the WP super cache plugin. You could either disable the mobile plugin or try using different caching if possible the recommended plugin for best results.
I will try to help you further with your questions after the mobile issue is solved, so the homepage can be seen.
1/2. The header supports 2 menus, a main header menu and a top bar menu
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/top-bar-templates/
Another menu is not supported by the theme, maybe use a plugin if you need a 3rd menu in the website.
3. The justify text option was removed from WordPress in version 4.7. You could re-add the option if this is required for you
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-underline-and-justify-text-buttons-in-wordpress/
4. I will take a look once the homepage will be visible.
5. Not all the blocks/modules display excerpts. You can see how all the blocks look here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
Note that even if a module displays an excerpt in certain layouts, this may be not visible when placed on a single column. Example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QJkTwULi
Thanks
.td-post-category {
padding: 6px 12px 8px;
}
The post category size has been increased in my website.
But, is there a way to target mobile or desktop sizes differently?
This code is generic and takes too much space on mobile, but is perfect for desktop.
Hi,
The top bar will not be displayed by default on mobile. I t could only be made to display on mobile with a code, only when the mobile plugin is not active. So I could not say what that top section in the screenshot is exactly, it does not look like the theme top bar even if you enabled it on mobile.
If you could maybe provide a link to your website we will inspect it and see where exactly it is coming from.
Thanks
Is it possible to remove the search function for a mobile ph. I have it hidden in Desktop view, but still shows on mobile.
