Hi,

If you mean the mobile menu/search background image, the theme demo uses an image if this size for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/NfE59bYor
You can try experimenting with an image like this, or make some tests with different sizes and see which are best to be used as background.

Thanks

Hi,

@ibeppo993
I have tested the code and it works for me
https://www.screencast.com/t/ywexnnBI
Please note that if you want the code to apply when using the mobile theme plugin, you must enter it as specified above

If you are not using the mobile theme plugin, the blockquotes font properties can be changed in the theme panel

Hi TagDiv,

We would like to change the ‘angle-right’ sub-menu icons in our mobile menu to plus-icons. We currently have:

.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right:before {
content: ‘\e83d’;
}

We have tried altering the content value to: ‘\e145’; but the icons appear broken.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Paul

My (mobile) menu expands open and you can see the items in the menu. However, when you click on a menu item you are taken to a blank page. I am using the mobile plugin.

My URL is journeysofyoga.com

Thank you

If this is in the docs, I haven’t been able to find it:

Is there a preferred size for the mobile background image? I keep getting a REALLY fuzzy image on it and wanted to know if there is a “magic size” to creating it for best appearance?

I set the mobile loop ad to show after 3 posts and it works fine. But I want it to show after 3 posts each e.g. show after 3 posts, show after 6 posts and show after 9 posts.

How can loop ad be set for PC view too???

Dear Bogdan
Just wanna inform you that WooCommerce is not working with Newspaper wp theme
I’m using Newspaper V 8.1 I’m not using tagDiv Mobile Theme
Pages running well on mobile, while posts are giving blank white screen
After disabling all plugins, clearing cache and re-saveing permalinks. I found that the conflict is with WooCommerce.
Just to let you know about it and forward it to the people concerned

Hi, let me rephrase the problem.

The blog roll on mobile displays less articles per page than the blogroll on desktop.
Therefore, on mobile, URLs like /categoryXXX/page/24/ can exist
Whereas on desktop, the URLs would maybe only go up to /categoryXXX/page/13/

In that case, pages 14 to 24 would return 404s on desktop.

Hi folks,

I was just testing the dedicated mobile theme and noticed there was an error coming up which is related to WP Rocket and minify. I included a screenshot below so you can take a look. Could you help solve this? I have also contacted WP Rocket too. Thanks so much.

Google doesn’t like ‘resized with CSS’ images as the browser has to do the work, which is considered slow for mobile vs an optimized “serve images at actual size” methodology.

One trick is to change the 3 image sizes made by WordPress, separate from the theme to be your 3 most use sizes. Also consider cutting couple of modules.

Or, you could turn sizes off, and thumbs won’t be made, and will be resized in some instances (larger to small, but smaller to large will not fill boxes).

Try it; but then also check your Pagespeed Insights from Google for “make images right size…” warning.

If your server does mod_pagespeed, you can have it build temp cache images on the fly, including conversion to webp format. Again, something you’d need to test.

(I don’t work here; but we went through this. We ended up limiting “total number of sizes to 6” to keep thumb explosion down.)

ALSO: be sure to change the default compression for thumbs in your wp-config.php, as most small thumbs don’t need to be razor sharp, and so compression level of 50 works for most stuff!

Hi,

I strongly believe that it is the encoding, but I don’t know what would be the solution. For me it does not happen, the exact characters are displayed properly. I have opened the php file with notepad++ and changed the character encoding, and somewhat managed to replicate the problem. Try opening the file with the same editor and check if the file is encoded like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/AVXS4ABFfTr
There are multiple references to this online, but nothing more specific to the exact solution.
The menu when sticky can use two options for the logo
https://www.screencast.com/t/wNYHxMnt2R
Either the same normal logo or the mobile logo. If the mobile logo is used you will have to make the modification in these files as well

Image of the slide is flattening in the mobile version. https://goo.gl/hov8xz
How do we solve this?

Hello,

You search, the mobile menu and ajax filters do not work. This is a js conflict and it has the console errors to go with it: https://www.screencast.com/t/t6yXfaGQQ

Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please provide a link to your site so I can see this block and provide the code needed for it. On mobile, the font cannot be changed except with custom css.

Thank you!

Hi,

There is no setting for this. Sidebars will be displayed on mobile as well. Only the mobile theme will not display the sidebars, when it is active.
If you use Visual composer there is an option in the columns settings on pages, that allows to hide it on devices
https://www.screencast.com/t/BvWPdfW9SS9v
But I can’t think of any other setting for this.

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no setting as the top menu was never intended to show up on mobiles. It can be activated though with a css code. Please add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box:

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block;
}
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block !important;
text-align:center
}
}

Thank you!

About 65% of our traffic is from Mobile as well. I’ve tried a million things but finally I just put one add half way through the content… another at the end of the article on mobile. I’ve went from 3 ads to 2 ads on the desktop version of the site with NO change to revenue. In that case I have one ad at the bottom of the content… one on the right hand nav

I have that already in place on the site but I used the code given to me to place an ad below the share button, as that was not an option with the ad inserter.

Now, the ads are not showing up on mobile and when deleted the code to place an ad using the plugin before the social button, it would not show up.

Considering most of my traffic is mobile, this is creating a pretty significant problem for me at this point.

Dear all

regarding my blog (www.drivers-of-digitization.com) only the main menu is shown on mobile device. My top header menu is not shown. Is this a default setting? Is it possible that both menu`s are shown on mobile devices, if yes, where can I find this setting?

Many Thanks for you support.

Hi, Thanks. Ok I think i got it. I will decide if want to use the mobile theme. For now, is there just an easy way with current theme how NOT TO SHOW ONLY THE SIDEBAR on mobile phone?
I remember seeing the option somewhere but now I cant find it.
