when i look at my website on mobile devices it seams that when i click on the Header Menu Drobdown box i get no categories or pages appear.
Hi Simion, finally, I solve it using the featured image (pc-Mobile) and editing the articles.

I hope you can help here guys. Our site has been set up and looks the part, but I’m experiencing page loading issues as never seen before since setting up with NewsPaper.
From the system status in WordPress, everything is green.. no issues. WP Memory Limit = 96mb, WP super cache is enabled etc.
On loading the page however, even after all elements are visibly there, the page continues to try to load something. This is an issue we can just about live with on desktop, but on mobile the load time prevents the menu from loading and causes user issues as they are stuck.
On inspecting, it seems there are big javascript issues, as seen below. Any advice please? Thanks

Hello JavierRuizSin,
Sorry for this case, but please notice that I have tested our demo in this case and every post shared on Facebook can be opened on mobile devices. Try this thing and you will see that work as expected. Most likely, the problem is on your side. Try to disable all of your untested plugins if you are using something like this, install the latest theme version, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
hello,
after upgrading the theme the mobile version of our site is having issues. it appears that the theme is now referencing:
http://www.askdrmanny.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/js/tagdiv_theme.js?ver=8.1
however, i believe the reference should be to this file which is the actual location of the file:
http://www.askdrmanny.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js?ver=8.1
we can update manually, but, wanted to point this out and get your thoughts as well.
thank you.
My mobile menu isn’t working at all. Please advise.
Hi,
if we delete tagdiv_theme.js, how written in changed_files_8.0_8.1.html,
the mobile menu no longer works…
how to solve?
thanks
By sharing the links of Facebook posts, on PC can be opened without problem, but on mobile can not be opened. I’ve updated the theme to version 8.1, but the problem continues.
I’ve updated WordPress, too.
Can you help me?
Hi,
Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect the issue. The mobile theme displays the same featured images in the modules it uses, and in the post page

Well, the way that it currently has the drop down menu doesn’t work well. Users aren’t able to scroll down through all the states, it’s a pain in the ass. I want people to be able to search and browse and click the states quickly and painlessly without having to hit the drop down every single time. I would much rather prefer to have 6 rows of the states as opposed to one row with a drop down that spans 1,200 px down the page and people can’t see them all due to certain mobile phones. There has to be a way to change this. Where is this specific part of the code located at in the template? I can update the code myself there if you could tell me where this specific part of the code is isolated.
Thanks.
Hello, what mus I change for not show the featured image in mobile versión?, thanks in advanced.
I did what you guys propose here, but i has not changed, do i need to chenge it on mobile too? logo-mobile-h1.php
Hi,
I’m trying to implement the following code into single_template_2 to replace the original Newspaper theme top share section. I know where to put the code but when I place it the right sidebar pushes down, unlike the original theme share buttons. Any help would be great.
<?php echo do_shortcode('[easy-social-share buttons="facebook,pinterest,twitter,reddit,more,google,linkedin,stumbleupon" morebutton="1" counters=1 counter_pos="insidename" total_counter_pos="hidden" style="button" twitter_user="cruisehive" twitter_hashtags="#Cruise #Travel" hide_mobile="yes" point_type="simple" facebook_text="SHARE" twitter_text="TWEET" google_text="-" pinterest_text="PIN" linkedin_text="-" stumbleupon_text="-" reddit_text="-"]'); ?>
You can see the difference in the images below:
Before using Newspaper share buttons, look at the sidebar as it’s in correct position – https://photos.app.goo.gl/Oh0RxIVL992Kt1ft2
After adding the Easy social share code, sidebar gets pushed down which I don’t want – https://photos.app.goo.gl/y8qI4Wmp7RN0zY7y1
Hello Vidovdan,
Please notice that each sidebar from the post will be falling down under the post content on mobile devices. YOu simply setup your sidebar from Widgets section and add there your desired Ads from Custom Ads section, using an Ad Box, for example. If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response for you.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
If you have installed the mobile theme plugin, content for pages is limited to the mobile editor. This section appears in the page edit screen, on the bottom
– https://www.screencast.com/t/lgszYjDG9y1
You will basically have to create two versions of a page, the desktop one and the mobile one.
The mobile theme will not display content created with composers on pages.
It also comes with a predefined template for the front page, post, category etc. If you would like to display the same content from desktop on mobile, deactivate the mobile theme plugin. This plugin is optional, the website will still display properly on mobile devices because it is fully responsive and adapts accordingly.
More information about the mobile theme here

Thanks
Yeah, I know that, thanks for Your answer.
But is there an option to display widget on mobile theme too?
Maybe some workaround, because I only need to display these two ads (custom ad 3 and 4, which are part of the widget) on the bottom of every post.
If you want to display the same elements on both mobile and desktop, don’t use the mobile theme, the main theme is already capable of this with it’s responsive design for mobiles.
The Mobile Theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hello,
I am using Your Newspaper 8 theme, and You have done an awesome job.
However, when I use Mobile theme, the widget which contains the following:
[tagDiv] Ad box (adspot from custom_ad_3)
Recent Posts (5 posts with date)
[tagDiv] Ad box (adspot from custom_ad_4)
doesn’t appear on the bottom of the post.
Desktop view is just fine (positioned on the right), and responsive version of the site too (widget goes to the bottom of the post). The only problem is the Mobile theme, where this widget doesn’t appear at all.
Is there a solution for this? Maybe some css !important code or something like that?
Hi,
I cannot view your website at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hvwBU3tuTt6
But as I said before this workaround may not work properly, since the top menu is not supposed to be present on mobile. It may require additional modifications to it, or to other header elements.
Thanks
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for the response. My site is behaving the same as the demo which cuts the Title text off for the third post in the Big Grid 2 layout when viewing on mobile.
