Hi Tagdiv Team,
I am having a problem with my site when it comes to the mobile version. It was functioning properly in PHP 5.6 but when I upgraded to PHP 7.0 my mobile theme breaks while my desktop version runs very smooth. I have diabled all plugins and eliminated Cloudflare cache from the mix but still have mobile side of the site either pull up white screen, pull up half page and freeze to the point i cant reload. I have tried to use the developr tools in chrome to isolate the error but it freeze at time bedfore error is displayed. Might you be able to assist me as to where I can start or better yet, if possible, isolate the problem so I can fix it.

Hi,
I am trying to implement the ad tag of contentignite. The same works fine on the desktop while on Mobile, we can’t scroll below the image. No difference is noted if I disable the Mobile Theme plugin and access the site on a mobile device. Any help?
Hi,
Glad you could solve the issue. On mobile the background will not be displayed or visible. The website content width will stretch edge to edge, and that leaves no space for the background to be displayed

Hello mmedia6587,
Sorry, but please notice that the Mega Menu does not exist for mobile devices. The menu will become in hamburger menu mode.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
You could try the solution from this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-mobile-theme-font/
Load the font like mentioned, and apply it with CSS for the needed elements.
Thanks
Thank you! It’s fixed!
Another question: How do I disable the wallpaper ad on mobile devices? I can not find the option ..
Ok, so how do I compeltely hide the social icons up top?
I am not talking about the regular web/desktop version. Again, I am referring to the slide-out mobile menu.
Bogdan, and if I setup MEGA MENU for mobiles and desktops, will it finally become clickable from mobiles ?
Hi,
Check if the ad is enabled on desktop. The option should be disabled like in this example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mOcAYncvb
If the option is like that, the ad should be displayed on desktop as well not just mobile. If you could provide a link to your website and details about the ad location, maybe we can identify the problem.
Thanks
Hello,
1) Sorry but custom ad spots can only be added on pages. The loop templates do not have ad spots in our theme. It can only be done with an ad plugin that can provide such functionality or by code customization.
2) Please add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box:
.td_ajax_load_more_js{
width:100%;
background-color:black;
}
3)Each big grid has it’s own style on mobile. Please check the mobile version of the different grids in our theme: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
You can change the current grid from the top right where it says 12 bog grids.
4) You can change the module to one that does not have a red more tag, or change the pagination to a standard one without read more. For categories, this can be set from the per category settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/xwQbbYkbh
For the tag template, the settings can be found here:

Thanks.
Hello,
If your menu is made out of custom links that link to ‘#’ then the mobile menu will not work as there is no hover on the mobile menu. Make sure you have links set to your primary menu items in the wordpress menus section.
Thank you!
Hi,
The top menu is not displayed on mobile by default. You could make it display with a code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WJP391Xbb
You must enter the code in the Theme panel->Custom code->Advanced CSS in the phones section, if you decide to use it
.td-header-top-menu-full,
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
text-align:center;
}
Thanks
thanks. I did that but its only working on mobile, not desktop.
Hello, getting ready to switch to Newspaper and finishing up a few things. I need some help with the following:
1. On my homepage (SneakerFiles.com/test/) there is 2 ad spots. 1 under the first two article then another 4 down. I was wondering how I could set this up on the category and tag pages?
2. Where is says “Load More” at the bottom of the page, I want to have it a block style just like I have it here:
https://ibb.co/n5WcEk
Also can I change the text from “Load More” to “See More” or anything else?
3. I am using Big Block 3 for the main 3 articles but when I view on mobile, it’s stacked. Is there a way to make it align like I have it on desktop or even switch the style of it on mobile?
4. How can I remove the “Read More” button on category and tag pages?
Thank you in advance for reading and helping.
Hi,
Main primary horizontal menu items and search field are not clickable when I access my website on smartphone. I do not use mobile theme plugin yet. All works fine on Desktop. But when I access website via phone, and try to click on main menu icon to expand the items or click on a “search” icon on main horizontal menu, nothing happens! How to fix this bug ?
Hi,
Thanks for u’re help i’ve finally managed this with success.
I’ve a last question : is it possible to reduce the space between the header and the first big grid of the page ? And is it possible to disable this space on mobile ? https://puu.sh/wUlDH/a171ef838e.PNG
Thanks for all u’re help !
Hello monoazulweb,
Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme does not recognize any TD or Visual Composer shortcodes and that’s why blocks are not rendered on mobile theme. For more information about this feature, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks for the message!
Hello lacoquillita,
Here is talking about two different menu styles. The first of is available only for desktop and tablet devices and for mobile mode, the main menu will be different, like a drop-down bar.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
When you visit my site: drybler.pl there is a top menu.
If you visit the same site on mobile, top menu is not visible.
How to fix that?
Best regards,

Hello!
Is it okay to continue with a question here?
See, I was thinking that I want to have the logo stretch all the way up to the search button on mobile. Right now, the image is resized to 152x54px by the theme. Is there a way to make it go stretch all the way to the search button or will it look unnatural?
Thanks,
Miguel
Bingo! That last tip did the trick; I hadn’t been selecting the size in the media library.
I was able to take Style 10, customize it some to look like Style 3, and get the logo to the right size. Looks good in the browser and in the mobile theme as well. Thank you!
BTW — loving the theme. Still getting used to it, but already like it better than the other (paid) theme I had been using.
Hello,
I have a problem with the Mobile theme.
TagDiv blocks are not displayed within the Mobile pages, on the one hand.
Another problem is the use of Text Blocks. TagDiv Composer gives me the option of writing block text, however, it never loads the button to save the text or edit.
If you had a way of posting in private then I’d easily provide the URL. In the meantime I’d have to wait to create other dummy content which I’d feel comfortable sharing in public.
At the moment it’s NOT THAT important considering how well mobile works sans the mobile theme.
Will either follow-up on this thread later or post anew.
I understand that. I know it would be impossible for you to test with every plugin. Testing with popular NEWS Site Style plugin should be done though as the theme do not provide all the functionality or features a news site would use. I could think of a ton of features that could be implemented.
Anyway thats not what this is about. The problem with that color not carrying over to a mobile device is theme related. I have tested by eliminating ALL plugins with just one click deactivation.
So now that we know its the theme how is it fixed
Hi,
I am trying to add a script from youku.com partner’s program which enables me to share videos in my post. The script works well in PC, however I noted I am not able to work out a auto reponsive video player in the mobile devices. Could someone help me how to make it? Here is the script example:
<div id=”youkuplayer” style=”width:480px;height:400px”></div>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”//player.youku.com/jsapi”></script>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
var player = new YKU.Player(‘youkuplayer’,{
styleid: ‘0’,
client_id: ‘client ID’,
vid: ‘Video ID’,
newPlayer: true
});
</script>
When I change the width from 480px to 100% it works well. But if I use 100% as the height in the same time, the player will be resized to a very small box. A friend told me to change the CSS to detect the PC/Mobile and set the corresponding sizes. But I have no idea how to do it? Appreciate if anyone can help me on this. Thank you so much in advance.
