Hello,

Thank you for purchasing our theme. we hope it will help bring your project to it;s final state.
1. If you do NOT use the mobile theme, the mobile colors are handled from here: http://screencast.com/t/AnpefXMn18
If you DO use the mobiel theme, the mobile colors have to be changed from the mobile theme settings: http://screencast.com/t/ZjyA2m2VWJU

Hi again,

I ve put custom code and it works as intended.

For second, i completely missed property for the row, and there is option i need – Content position. So, it has Top, Middle, Bottom, and Middle I was looking for.

Great, thanks and sorry for maybe noobish questions. 🙂

One additional question:
Is it possible to make Row (for example the one we talked about) disappears for mobiles only, since they are shown vertically and its not good looking in this case (waste of space, while visitors needs to scroll down to pass them).

Thank you again.

Hello Rgm1,

If you want to have 2 posts for your Big Grid in mobile theme, you should change the constant number from the core file with your desired value, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/IOIff4ws7X

Thanks for the message!

Hello dndgh,

If you are using the mobile theme plugin, please keep in mind that not of all ads will be displayed there. If you want to handle the ad for your mobile version, you should check the theme panel, mobile section, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/NTAZBnLBo Also, if you are not using the mobile version, the responsiveness version should display all your ads, without any restrictions.
If your cannot manage this problem, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer, provide some useful screenshots so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thanks for the message!

Hello johanvillegas,

In order to achieve the top bar menu for mobile, you should use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu{
display: block !important;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-sp-top-menu .top-header-menu {
text-align: center;
}
}

The result is here -> http://screencast.com/t/2zb92IQf4

Thanks.

Hello,
Wanted to say that I recently purchased this theme and it’s exactly what I was looking for! To start off, I updated the theme to 7.5 today as well as the plugins… all went well. A great majority of the questions I had were answered in the forums already and the changes were made successfully. My site is nearly complete except for the following adjustments:

1. Mobile header
First, I deactivated the mobile theme plugin since I want the mobile site to look like the desktop version. My logo color is blue #1369bf and I was able to change the search icon to this color as well. However the menu bars are still black and I’ve tried all the options in the Theme Panel. Please help me change this to blue.

2. Author page
Remove the comments box: http://www.screencast.com/t/yE8vdAOftrp

3. Related Articles
Instead of the “Next Prev ajax” pagination, I want to change it to the “Load More” button. I am looking to display random posts from all categories as well.

4. Category page
I would like to make these three adjustments:
a. Align the category name in the center, font size increased to 40px, and font weight is normal (not bold): http://www.screencast.com/t/OPhQfaoEn
b. I turned off the category pull-down filter for all categories and would like to display random posts instead of latest
c. My site has 5 categories and I created another named “Trending” for the menu: http://www.screencast.com/t/EPJDLIX9bJVQ
No article will be classified under the Trending category though. I want to be able to click on Trending and it will link to the category page template. However, this page will display the trending posts from ‘all categories’ instead of random posts from a specific category (as mentioned above).

Thanks again for the great support! 🙂
Mike

How do I limit featured posts to 2 on mobile theme?
Seems like limiting featured posts to just 2 is better for 4.7 devices as you have to scroll to actually see that more articles exists.

Hi—my photos did not upload for some reason. Please visit newmindjournal.com
The above menu (home, about, submit news, support, contact, etc) gets lost in mobile view. How can I make it visible in mobile view, thank you Andrei!

Hello,

For my site http://velikotarnovo.com, I have created a logo for when the site is displayed on a mobile device (phone). Its size is 230 x 90 pixels as recommended on you CMS. The file is here: http://velikotarnovo.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/logo-m.png

Why is it that the logo is distorted when the site is accessed via mobile devices?

I do not have the same problem with the mobile logo for my other site http://pavlikeni.com.

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes, i’m using the Mobile Theme. You can check here : http://geek-running.fr/
Thanks in advance for the CSS to add to hide this.

Yes, if you refer only to the css code, you can add your custom css to Theme Panel > Mobile Theme > Custom Css. If you refer to code modifications for the mobile theme files then you cannot overwrite them using the child theme, sorry!

Thanks!

Hello,
For the moment the mobile theme does not have any extra options and we try to limit the amount of settings on the mobile theme as it will affect the page speed on every new option we add. It will defeat the purpose of the mobile theme. If more options are required you can always use the standard responsive version of the theme. We built the mobile theme for speed. More options will mean less speed and the mobile theme becomes useless as there already is the responsive version that uses visual composer and all the options of the main theme.
As for freelancers, we cannot recommend any as we have not worked with any of them so we are not sure which one to recommend.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,

Do you use the Mobile Theme plugin? In this case please note that the Mobile Theme comes with it’s own layout and the footer logo and About Us are predefined.
Please provide your site url so we can inspect this and provide you a css to hide them. Or disable the Mobile Theme plugin to have the same content and settings like on desktop.

Thanks!

Hello,
It seems you do not have the mobile theme plugin installed anymore, but from the screenshot i see the mobile theme working properly. Please read this guide to learn hoe the mobile theme will convert your content on the homepage to a predefined one: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

Thanks for the quick response.

So, to clarify, the new mobile theme will not take Custom CSS from the Newspaper child theme? If I wanted custom elements on post pages, would I need to create a child for the mobile theme?

Thanks

EDIT – I guess I need to just paste all my child theme CSS into the CUSTOM CODE section of the mobile theme backend right? then presumably back it up on any future updates.

Thanks for the thorough reply Catalin – Are you able to say if you plan to make further improvements on the mobile plugin?

And do you know of a good resource to find talented freelance/developers?

Best,
IC

Hi,

Just a note for your update steps, please clear all the caches and purge your files if you use CDN after you update the theme and the plugins. If not you will have caching issues.
Regarding the theme’s plugins update, the procedure is the same like for Visual Composer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Of course you can do this also via ftp, there is not problem.
The Mobile Theme is an optional plugin. It is not a required plugin, so you don’t need to use it if you don’t want too, the theme still have a responsive layout and a mobile version like in version 6. You can read more about Mobile Theme plugin here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ The Mobile Theme files cannot be overwritten via child theme.

1. No, the Social Counter settings will not be removed, you only need to check if it is properly configured – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
2. The latest Speed Booster version is 4.5 so please make sure you use it with the latest theme version.
3. The Mobile Theme comes with it’s own template and Mobile Editor so you can add content for your pages there and they will not be empty – http://screencast.com/t/4XYf2A8pXM The Mobile Theme will not work with Visual Composer elements and it doesn’t render tagdiv blocks. Like I said above if you want the same content like on desktop also for mobile devices, just do not activate Mobile Theme plugin and it will be the same. If you want to use the plugin you will need to add content to your pages, create other menus and check the Mobile Theme settings from Theme Panel.

Thanks!

Hi,

Do you use the Mobile Theme plugin?
In this case just paste this custom css to Theme Panel > Mobile Theme > Custom Css – http://screencast.com/t/LMDfjIqR3l

.td-post-featured-image {
display: none;
}

If you are not using the Mobile Theme plugin, you can use media queries and paste the code in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/GzgDh78I

@media(max-width: 767px) {
.td-post-featured-image {
display: none;
}
}

Thanks!

hello,

The mobile menu will not show the mega-menu option. That is an option only available for desktop. You use the mobile theme plugin so you will be able to create a whole new menu without mega-menus. Add your favorite menu items and then place the menu on the mobile menu spot here: http://screencast.com/t/imXZPBLKU3nR

Thank you!
