Hi,
I am using template 5 for images and videos posting. in desktop, everything is fine. but in the mobile theme for image posting, feature image are showing the middle of the post title and social icon. and it is super weird.
click this link by mobile :- http://www.planetbomb.net/27-times-online-shopping-cause-instant-regrets/
Looking for the solution.
Thank you!
Hi Catalin,
so sorry to say that – but this didn´t help me as well 😉
I´m sure you know the chrome dev device emulator: https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/device-mode – that is what I´m talking about. As soon as I switch to mobile, I can´t go back to desktop without clearing the cache. Normally, the template should adapt to the screen size as this makes e.g. development easier – but that doesn´t happen here…
You know that I mean?
Catalin,
Thank for you the response. We are making progress!
I changed the logo. The second part of my question still needs to be resolved:
In the mobile view why does it say “ABOUT US” under the logo, above the social media icons? How do I change this?
Thanks!
Hi Catalin,
thanks for your reply!
But sadly, this didn´t help at all :D. You´ve posted the exact same links that i´ve posted in the OP and as I wrote, they didn´t help me at this point.
Again: In your marketing vid, one can see that there is a possibility to get access to the different pages of the website. I got that there are only two modules and I´m fine with that. What I want to know is: How can I get these modules to take over the content on the corresponding pages?
Here´s the easiest explanation of what I want to find out – let´s say, my website only has three pages:
1.) A Homepage (carrying several modules showing random content of page X and Y)
2.) A Page X (carrying several modules showing content of category X)
3.) A Page Y (carrying several modules showing content of category Y)
When I open up my mobile page running on mobile theme, this is what I get:
1.) My Homepage (carrying Big Grid Mob 1 (featured content) and a list showing random content of page X and Y)
2.) My Page X (showing NOTHING but a white page)
3.) My Page Y (showing NOTHING but a white page)
I want the system to just show me the content (posts!) of the pages on each page – using the mobile Big Grid Mob 1. and the list as well, of course. Because this is what a user wants from a mobile page (thats at least what i´d expect^^)
What do you think? 😉

any help please?
also How to hide block from mobile and keep it on desktop?
thanks Andrei,
(1) How to change which social media icons to show on mobile menu?
Thanks for the screencast.
Hello,
Unfortunately our theme has no option to request the desktop version on mobile phones and there is no easy solution to do it. If you really need this customization, you can hire a freelancer to help you out from sites like studio.envato.com
Thank you!
Hello tintin,
This type of issue come from your server cache and if you cannot erase it, unfortunately, you will get this issue when you are using the mobile theme. I suggest you changing your hosting provider because as far as I know you cannot erase the cache from your dedicated server from Bluehost provider.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Jeen.
The mobile theme is different from the desktop theme. If you want to access settings for the mobile theme you can find them in the new section at the bottom of the theme panel. Every option for the mobile theme has do be done through the mobile theme settings. Changes for the standard settings will not affect the mobile theme. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello Sandman,
It seems to be a mini issue from your Theme colors. Please try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
.td-mobile-close a {
background-color:initial;
}
The result -> http://screencast.com/t/yy4N4D5aSeS
Thanks.
Hi
1. What exactly do you want to change in mobile menu? The settings for colors can be found in theme panel > theme colors: http://screencast.com/t/LIPUyEomQQ
Please provide some exact detail about the desired result so I can inspect it closer and get back to you with a more accurate answer.
2. The functionality of search buttons is the same, the only difference is in layout. However the response time may be influenced by how well your site is optimized and how fast queries are made.
make sure that your server meets the requirements specified in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/ also check if the parameters from system status have the values indicated here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
3. We always include in theme’s path last version of Visual Composer available when the update is released. You can’t directly download Visual Composer from themeforest unless you bought it. Currently we test V 4.12 and after everything is ready a new update will be released.
4. I’ve checked your site and you’re using the default thumb for block 6: http://screencast.com/t/jPzMgHEOkcn if you want tu use a higher value for the thumb make sure that after the code is modified you regenerate the thumbnails.
Thanks!
Hello steventsakanikas,
I have tested your website in mobile mode and now seems to work as properly. If your problem reappears, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hmm.. OK.. I changed my colour scheme in Version 2 of this theme, and they disappeared on the login modal box only when I updated to Version 3… Was it accidental that my login modal box was taking on colours from the theme’s color panel in version 2?
I realise a few extra parts were added / split off with the new mobile menu that has been created, but I guess I just assumed whoever recoded the login box simply used a new range of style tags that had not been included in the color lists… but if you say it was never meant to be like that, fair enough.
It seems weird to me that the overide CSS that gets applied on the same page as the login window includes “.td-login-wrap” as an overide (it never applies, because it’s not specific enough) – even in your version 3 color code overrides…..
..”.td-login-wrap” was the old class that was used in V2’s old login box used to use before you introduced .mfp-content in front of that selector….. Are you sure? If so, that’s a waste of a css tag if it’s not meant to do anything..
Hi,
Unfortunately this is the case with infinite scrolling on mobile. it;s best to use the infinite scroll+load more button so the user can get to the sidebar as well. There is no option to move the sidebar unfortunately.
Thank you!
Hello zingolo,
First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
This theme behaviour regarding on hover on mobile it seems to come from your untested plugins which interact with the theme and which might cause a lot of unknown issues. Also, the problem which you have mentioned regarding on zoom in might come by some ads which are not correctly set (if you are not using the AdSense code and if you are using other ads and these are not added with div method might appear some behaviour like this) -> for more information about this method you should consult this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
Regarding on your Big Grid, please try to regenerate the thumbnails. -> http://screencast.com/t/d3jOHMWvHA For more information about this process, please refer to this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/block-images/
Also, for more information about low resolution for images in mobile mode, please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/feature-image-on-mobile-is-low-resolution/
Hope this helps!

Hi,
These pages will not show any content if you use the mobile theme. You need to create a mobile version for them in the mobile editor in the back-end. Please read more about the mobile theme here to understand it;s features and what needs to be done with pages: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hi there,
I have a question about the mobile theme.
When i changed the colors of the theme and refresh the website on my mobile phone, there is nothing changing.
There are still the same colors.
Does anyone know what’s wrong?
Thank you.
Jeen
Hello Tale,
So, please notice that the Mobile Theme is an additional plugin of our theme and it is optional. This feature can be disabled from the panel is you will turn off the mobile plugin. If you will do that, the theme will be switched to the default responsiveness mobile version and this will bring all your customizations which you have done for the mobile version. As you can see, the mobile theme is totally a different template and if you want to customize it as you want, you will have to add all your custom CSS code in the certain field from Mobile Theme, like this ->http://screencast.com/t/iaPKq1eg
Please notice that our mobile theme feature does not display you the content of your pages, but only for your posts. The mobile theme has only 2 modules which will be displayed on your side when the mobile plugin is activated -> Big Grid Mob 1 which contain the all your posts sorted from the Featured Category and on the bottom of the page you will bring the Latest articles. So, if you want to add some content on your pages you will have to manually add from the Visual Composer. Mobile Editor, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/P7uJGjo5qWGl For more information about mobile theme, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps!
If you encounter other problem with this, please let us know.
Thanks for your understanding!

oh one more…
(4) I use block 6 on my homepage and put 640×427 as featured images on posts. It looks good on desktop but grainy on mobile. Do you have any advice how to solve this? (it used to look good on both).
Thanks again
Hi,
I updated to newsmag 3.0 and found out the mobile menu has changed (I use fashion demo).
(1) How can I edit the mobile menu window (the window after clicking menu on mobile)? (the default background is kind of purplish with all social media button being shown)
(2) Can I do something with search? It seems the searching process from new search kinda slow and redundant.
Let’s say I’m a reader. There will be a new mobile search window after clicking the button. After I enter the keyword, need to wait for result to be shown on that window. But then the window closing and bringing me back to the result page (not on search window anymore).
here’s the url http://www.bukusakumama.com
It seems those things are easily done from the theme panel if I use newspaper theme. How about on newsmag?
(3) I wonder how to keep updated whether a new visual composer update is ready to download? (Usually I wait for the plugin to tell me if a new update has come, but I realize need to wait for tagdiv crews to put it on test first)
Keep up the good work,
Thanks
Hi Catalin,
I’ve got the same issue like “Gorobets”.
#. I disabled all plugins.
#. I activated only three plugins: Visual Composer, Mobile Theme, WP Rocket.
#. I cleared all caches in WP Rocket ( don’t use any CDN).
http://prntscr.com/bllrtl
Thanks!
Your mobile navigator menu ends up blank for me only if I have private browsing / never remember history enabled… It throws up a couple of javascript errors on the google ads and the facebook code you have (only when never remember history is turned on)…
Hello
I have checked your website on mobile mode and I saw that the certain class for the ad is just there, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/3KfDl4cOr It seems to be a problem with your own ad and not from the theme. Please try to contact the ad provider and tell them the problem and they should be able to provide a more accurate response in this regard. Please keep in mind that our theme our theme only render the code if you have added in the certain space for ads and do not influence the functionality of it.
Hope this helps!
