If my site is viewed at certain resolutions, say landscape on an iphone, my menu breaks into two rows. It looks awful.
How can I fix it so this never happens? Show all of the menu items when there is enough screen space and when there is no room to show all of them, switch to a mobile menu.
Thanks
Hello @naimlibien!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hello,
When the mobile theme plugin is used you need to set for pages the page content in mobile editor using only the options from that editor – https://i.imgur.com/p8EqE1b.png also there is an option to disable the mobile theme from a page/post – https://i.imgur.com/d3kTBRf.png this option appears in Gutenberg editor.
Thank you!
Hi,
The mobile header logo can be changed only if the cloud header it is used, when this is used you can edit the image size with tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/VMrAooz.png
Thank you!
I am using the newspaper theme mobile and on the mobile pages links are not showing up. Not only is a link now working the text for the link is not there. See this page where the link at the very bottom of the article shows on desktop but not on mobile: https://cognac.com/martingale-cognac-a-contemporary-french-luxury-spirit-for-the-next-generation-of-cognac-enthusiasts-now-available-in-the-us/
Thoughts?
I have installed Mobile theme and loading speed has improved.
1. I’d like to know how can I change the text Latest Articles to Latest News as the site is about news and not articles.
2. Can I change grids on the homepage to see box shape like in desktop version. so it looks better?
3. How can I make Social Media Share Icons to open in new windows on both mobile and desktop themes?
4. Also in desktop version how can I make Social Media Sharing Icons to color and square shaped?

My site was recently infected by the admin user name greeceman issue (Balada Injector—see this article for more on that malware issue: Balada Injector targeting .)
After cleaning up the site and reinstalling WordPress core files, my host (WPX) recommends I deauthorize, delete, and then reinstall the following:
td-cloud-library
td-composer
td-mobile-plugin
td-standard-pack
What are the steps to follow to do that? Can I do this from inside WordPress or do I need to download a fresh copy of Newspaper theme?
If I need to install a fresh version, is there a way to retain my customizations to the theme or at least somehow take not of them so I can easily replicate them?
Any advice on next steps is very much appreciated.
Thank you
Thanks Bettina
I tried all the above (although we do not use the mobile theme at all), but after recreating the child-theme temporarily with only the 2 basic files, the menu worked as expected.
In the child-theme, there is a /parts folder, with some files that were edited to add dynamic widgets. e.g.. header-style-3.php
Is there still support for this?
Hi Calin,
thanks for the reply I did manage to upload a transparent logo header, however is there any way of making the logo a bit larger I have tried using Image dimension 280 x 96 and then as required 140 x 48 but they all appear to small on the mobile view. Please see image below:

I can’t get the Cloud Mobile Templates to be shown on Custom Taxonomies for Custom Post type.
The Custom post type Mobile template it’s been displayed as expected.
i am not using Mobile theme. Below screenshots that will help you to understand the issue.
Cloud templates -> CPT/Taxonomies https://ibb.co/r37D0YJ
Custom Taxonomies – Templates (Jobs-Archive Mobile Template Design) -> https://ibb.co/zRNVpny
Taxonomy shown in front-end -> https://ibb.co/DbcLrBJ
Plugins list -> https://ibb.co/X3MBhdH
So basically it seems that the mobile template is not been applied in the taxonomy. The “desktop” template has been applied correctly. As well all templates under Custom Post Type – Templates are shown correctly both Desktop and Mobile.
Can anyone help me ?
Can you guide me to do that? Because when I am on Header cloud template and I set phone viewport the top bar disappear and I can’t edit it. And even if I am in portrait viewport, the top bar is visible but not the Mobile horizontal menu that is visible in Landscape and Desktop viewport.
Can you advice a similar alternative (similar to desktop) but without scroll bar on mobile (with one post per row on mobile)?
I’m capable of using css to target the td-mobile-nav container but how do I edit/remove the social media icons from it?

The featured image captions do not show on mobile. They display perfectly in the desktop version but not on mobile. I’ve tried using the DevTools in Chrome but I couldn’t fix it. Please help 🙂
Hello @biuroinfin !
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website. A good choice for the page speed, it could be the mobile layout which contains less elements because it can improve a bit your page speed.
There is all about the DOM. Which means you need to have less elements into that container or row, as such on that page. I can suggest you only to take care of how many elements you use on that page. You can try to use a cache plugin or a plugin which can minify the page or combine some elements in order to reduce its size.
To increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Please check the tutorials from those platforms gt metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.

Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
Can you please provide more details? Do you have a mobile page?
Thank you!
Hello @nexusadmin !
Please deactivate, delete, and reinstall the tagDiv mobile theme from Newspaper plugins and clear all cache. Check out this article: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/there-has-been-a-critical-error-on-your-website/
Thank you!
Hello @mediax!
Please deactivate, delete, and reinstall the tagDiv mobile theme from Newspaper plugins and clear all cache.
If the problem is still there, then make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are using the Newspaper v12.6.1, what can be done is to disable and reinstall tagDiv Composer and tagDiv mobile theme plugin, delete those plugins and reinstall them from Newspaper plugins.
Also, if the theme was update to Newspaper v12.6.2 then the problem should be resolved.
Thank you!
Hi,
This can be done only if you are using a popup element for mobile menu – https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/ – https://i.imgur.com/rT70k4N.png
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that you are referring to this – https://i.imgur.com/UvqKch4.png this can be disable by editing the homepage using tagDiv Composer, selecting the header and disable the more option – https://i.imgur.com/ytSLiDj.jpg
For mobile header, you can copy from a different cloud header, or you can make your own mobile header. Usually most of them should have a mobile header – https://i.imgur.com/jj6VJxR.png

Hi,
This https://yourimageshare.com/ib/KIKtiKNt6G is the responsive version and mobile theme will not display the grids like that.
Also, most of the time when this is happening it’s do to a cache or object cache, when that option is enabled the mobile layout should be like this – https://i.imgur.com/ayokbcg.png – https://i.imgur.com/arpUfyX.png
Thank you!
Hello, thanks for your reply. However, I found some options where I turned off the redirect AMP plugin.
My next problem is: that the banner that is right below the menu bar is not displayed.
When I turn on only mobile in the theme settings, I get an error: Notice: The amp_has_paired_endpoint function was called incorrectly. Function called while AMP is disabled via amp_is_enabled filter. The service ID “paired_routing” is not recognized and cannot be retrieved. Read Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 2.1.1.) in /home/vigilar1/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6031.
The only part I need to solve now is to display the banner that I have on the front page, it should be on the mobile version. Is there any way to edit it, because whenever I want to edit the mobile version it looks totally different.
Hello,
1. Yes it is working but you need to use it on “Reader” mode – https://i.imgur.com/OxLrL72.png, the other templates will not work correctly.
2. Please use the mobile theme only for amp – https://i.imgur.com/PpMgNkF.png and use the amp only post posts/articles – https://i.imgur.com/BDUeOhp.png, if is used on pages you need top use the mobile editor to create content for those pages – https://i.imgur.com/Ljt4yW8.png – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
3. This depends on each user if they want or not that option, if you do not need it, then disable the option for all modals or disable it only for modals you do not want it. Most of of users I was that are using the option, but this depends on your needs.
Thank you!
