I don’t have any extra code on the site, aside from what you’ve given me. All the images are also full images. The missing space is the same for every image, and not just on this page. This happens every time I create a media & text page, for all images on mobile. Any ideas? It doesn’t seem logical to have to input CSS code every time we create a new page with media & text blocks. Thanks!

Yes I have tried the CSS mobile tab in TagDiv. The H align says center, even though the text is left justified. Within the desktop tab, if I change the same H align, the text will change based on what’s chosen. However, in the mobile tab, it doesn’t matter what I change it to, it stays as left justified.

Why do I have to create custom code for a problem with the program? I do not know how to create custom code, and it’s not right to ask me to learn to code because the TagDiv program has a glitch. Please let me know what code to input to override the glitch, or please update TagDiv to fix this problem with h align not working on mobile. 🙂 Please let me know?

Thanks Bettina!

Hello!

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to optimize my Newspaper theme blog for mobile and made a custom mobile page with tagdiv composer. My problem is that I can’t change the mobile page that is shown on my phone to the custom made mobile page. I already changed it in the cloud template plugin but it just shows a grey yes under page templates->Homepage templates->Mobile page.

I would appreciate it if i got help.
Thanks for reading this

Hello @healthnavigato !

If you click on that logo, you can see on the left side in the TagDiv Composer the settings you’re looking for.
Make sure you do not use the mobile theme plugin.

Thank you!

Hello @akosmemedia !

Unfortunately, we do not have any options in the theme.
I see that there are fixed sizes for mobile. Please change the code itself.

Thank you!

Hello @yourcryptowriter!

Yes, it is the default style of menu. The social icons from the mobile menu are coming from the Theme Panel -> Social/Apis -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/kKYIECB.png remove/edit them after your needs.
You can build a menu like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/ -> example: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_chained_news_pro/

Yes, I’ve checked (2 in headers: mobile + desktop) and one in the footer.
Please disable them.

Hello!

I use the simple “say what” template and do not use a cloud template:

Please view the url in mobile view:
– How can I solve it so that the mobile ads can be seen in full width? LIKE THIS
– Why is the lower “in article” ad horizontal and not like the “top article” ad above it? The settings are the same for the template and adsense.

Hello!

No. Check in the TagDiv Composer and disable the H1. For example, H1 from logo(header, footer, mobile): https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/6-h1-tags-on-front-page-bing-have-deindexed-my-site/

Thank you!

You can build a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer. Steps:
1. Insert one new row (or delete an existing one).
2. Divide into two columns (2/3 + 1/3).
3. You can add whatever element you want to the second column and consider it a sidebar.

Thank you!

My sidebar appears how I want it to on desktop.

I would like the sidebar to show at the bottom of the article on mobile devices.

When I turn off the mobile theme, the sidebar shows how I want it to on mobile. However, I don’t like the overall look and responsiveness on mobile when mobile theme is turned off.

It seems like the mobile theme overrides the settings & I’m not sure how to solve it.

Is there a way to the sidebar at the bottom of the screen with Mobile theme still on?

I currently control the sidebar through > cloud templates> single templates

Got it, yes that worked! Is there a reason it’s needed? It doesn’t seem to make sense to have to add custom code to a pre-built block. Also, do you know how to control the image size on mobile? It defaults to the full width of the screen, which works for some posts but not all. Thanks, Bettina!

It’s not a block within editor. It’s an element in Tagdiv, so there’s no available formatting options in editor. I deactivated all the plug-ins and nothing changed. It’s still left-justified on mobile only.

Hello!

You can make a row or column sticky: https://prnt.sc/sR1ppwW85x9M
Use the icon element: https://prnt.sc/I0asULVjjZsa
Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the element.

Thank you!

Hi,

May I know how to display a sticky icon in right side of all the post like this: https://imgur.com/a/yQnibEx both in mobile and desktop

My Site URL: https://tamil.cricglitz.com/

Hello @satheeshraj !

No, it shouldn’t. Please click on the mobile viewport and then change the font size.
First of all, you need to have space for that text; if not, you can modify the size of the image, and you can also limit the excerpt or title there.
The easiest method is to upload a block that is already responsive from the Cloud Library:
1. Edit the page (the one you’d like to have the block) with the TagDiv Composer.
2. Click here: https://prnt.sc/SelGe0HUURYB
3. You can find only blocks and sections: https://prnt.sc/SLKHPjRB3Cia
4. Choose the one from there and click on the green button import.

Thank you!

Hello @Satheeshraj !

Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to make it look better. There are some settings for meta info that will help you set the block: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
