Hi there,
I’ve reported this over email but alas never got a reply (been a few weeks now).
The mobile page (not theme) seems to get disabled on its own. I can’t seem to find a pattern in this, but this has only occurred in the last few updates of Newspaper + WordPress.
I’d really appreciate it if I can get this sorted via someone at Tagdiv, as I’m finding certain links are not displaying any webpage due to the error; there seems to be an issue affecting the site, which didn’t seem to be the case before: https://totallyev.net/
Hi,
Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/side-mobile-menu-bar/#post-417588
Thank you!
Hello,
You can manage the social icons for the mobile menu from the Theme Panel -> Social Networks => https://prnt.sc/10112uu
Also, to add the social icons you need to edit with tagDiv Composer, search after social icons and set the link for social platforms https://www.screencast.com/t/kATmr6b3yg
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for pages, posts, categories, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
So, if you want to have the image info box on the posts, you need to deactivate the mobile theme plugin.

Thank you!
But I want to manage my ads through different plugin (ads for wp plugin). Mobile theme panel don’t provides all useful options so I’m using ads for wp plugin. But it’s not working with mobile theme. ads are showing in desktop version but in mobile version ads through plugin (ads for wp) not showing.
Hi,
If you are referring to the mobile theme plugin, then just disable it and this will be removed -> https://i.imgur.com/6RPZBm0.png in case that you are referring to a mobile page made with tagDiv Composer, then you need to set first on no mobile page https://i.imgur.com/d8A3G0b.png or no mobile template https://i.imgur.com/aUKt1xg.png and that will no longer apply on that category or single post template.
Thank you!
Hello,
To do a test using only tagDiv plugins, you need to deactivate the extra plugins you use,
these are the tagDiv plugins => https://i.imgur.com/LNutRUy.png
Yes, you can create a mobile page for each page, and a mobile template for each template.

Thank you!
Could you please register mobile and amp navigation separately? I need to have custom menu for the different devices.
Hi cleverliving, if I understand correctly, the problem is on mobile, there the pages are not display and you do not know how to adjust the content. If is so, then this is from the mobile theme plugin, with it you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of the theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create new content for pages because in most cases those were made with builders or shortcodes (tagDiv Composer, WPBakery) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on the mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version for some posts/pages on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/nB2h3GJ.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Hope this will help you!

Hi, I realize it’s a welcome feature, but for a quick and dirty site it’s a pain to have to define pages, move content etc.
Is there any way in which the main theme squeezes on the mobile phone and be done with it? I.e. just have the site work with the desktop theme moving responsively to a smaller pixel width?
thanks!
is there a way to delete a mobile template from a page once it has been assigned so that there is no template at all?

Hello!
Your mobile menu is working from what I can see, but you have the Mobile theme plugin installed and active.
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version
Thank you!
I activated mobile theme for mobile + amp version. But when I add ads through ads for wp plugin but ads are not showing on mobile version when I use mobile theme by newspaper theme. Please help me.
Hello!
Unfortunately, you can not use it with Mobile Theme plugin because is not customizable with TagDiv Composer. A guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/
Thank you!
Hello!
A workaround there is to open your homepage and your homepage mobile template in TagDiv Composer in different tabs. Click the element, click-right and copy the element and paste the element in your homepage mobile template in order to replace the same element there. Make sure that all the images have the URL in the tab “Images” from the element “Image box”.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
@gumball44,
Unfortunately, for the mobile theme/AMP plugin, the post doesn’t have the option to display the modified date.
@Bezukhof,
Just to let you know, like everything with SEO and Google, rich snippets take time to appear in search results and depend heavily on the authority of the website.
It’s totally up to Google and takes time to appear rich results as per Google crawling and indexing.
