Hi,

We recommend using AMP together with our mobile theme plugin, in transitional mode. If you do not use our mobile theme, then AMP should be set in reader mode. In reader mode the AMP version looks very simple, with next to no options. The mobile theme is what ads some design and settings in the theme panel.

Please do not use AMP in transitional mode if you do not use the mobile theme plugin. Please set it in reader mode in this case.

Now, I’m not quite sure what the problem is exactly. Do the respective videos and podcasts appear correctly if you use just AMP alone? Could you provide an example of thee issues? I see a podcast in this post for example https://prnt.sc/8uHaGVTrgepS it’s an embed.

AMP is a bit stricter when it comes to the content, not everything works with AMP. It is meant usually for very simple content like, text and images, for better performance.

Ultimately you could consider not using AMP if there are problems or conflicts with the website content, or displaying that content for mobile visitors. AMP is actually rarely used these days. I myself almost never see it anymore, for quite some time.

Let me know.

Thank you!

When I use the mobile plugin, my website is not complete in the mobile version – only the news appears – without podcasts, without videos, without other items that are classified as a complete website.

Follow the guidelines in this link to the newspaper – however my theme is newsmag. One problematic situation is that I was no longer using the theme’s mobile plugin and I need to enable it. How to solve this problem please?

Calin, good night. At times, our website returns to the mobile version, completely disrupting Google’s indexing.
The situation is intermittent – when I save https://imgur.com/a/ZxpzfcR the AMP again it works normally again. How to resolve this issue definitively – I cannot use reader mode as it is not recommended and would downgrade our site. I’m no longer using the mobile theme plugin.

Thanks Anamaria!
I have another question:

1. Regarding mobile search. How can I translate the words marked in (image 1) I also need to change the color of the button to blue

2. Our research results must be presented only as publications. Currently they are also shown as pages

3. On my cell phone I can’t change the colors of the menu borders

Hello Pat,

Can you please provide some screenshots? This usually happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support, the mobile version can be delivered instead. Please make sure that you have enabled the mobile cache -> https://imgur.com/Es7nHNh -> https://i.imgur.com/W1KaV3U.png

Hello,

You can use the mobile page option -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
For the responsive version, you can not do it.

Thank you!

Hello,

AMP is deprecated as of January 2023-> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp so we don’t longer recommend it.
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/

Thank you!

AMP was abandoned by Google almost 2 years go.
No reason to use it anymore, nor should you.

Ideally, optimize your desktop version to “drop down” to mobile view with smart optimized responsive layouts.

Hi everyone. With AMP it’s not clear to me how it works.
I read these two official articles
https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

I did everything indicated and the conclusions are:

When I activate official AMP for WP. In the WordPress test page it gives me 7 problems, to eliminate them I have to delete some plugins (yoast seo, tagDiv composer etc..), when I delete them the site does not go in mobile version.

When I activate tagDiv Mobile Theme, it’s not great.

When I activate both (tagDiv Mobile Theme + Official AMP for WP) it’s as if I had activated only tagDiv Mobile Theme, the result is not great.

The site is the following https://arteincartongesso.com/

Wait for a good soul who clarifies AP;. Thanks

Hello,

In the mobile theme, the images on the home page are not displayed in 265×198 size and when I query pagespeed.web.dev I get the error “Serve appropriately sized images.”

How do I fix this?

I’ve got a second license and launched a new website lincolnshirewire.com

It’s almost the same as the site I’ve operated on Newspaper for ten years

But this time I decided to design a mobile home page and mobile single post template using TD Composer mobile to be different from desktop versions.

I don’t use AMP plugin or Mobile Plugin on the site

The confusion is that although I designed the header and it’s settings are set to global – the page sometimes appears with the header being the one from the desktop TDC pane from the mobile viewport setting ( in this case blank in that viewport ) and full designed in the desktop viewport.

Other times it’s correct and is from the separate templates.

I set up WP Super Cache as instructed – and have also tried Litespeed Cache which the other site operates with and is a hosting recommendation.

When no cache plugin is activated at all the problem resolves and the correct page shows – either cache plugin activated causes the problem.

It’s early days for the site so no cache is fine now – but how can I change cache settings to fix it

Hello,

Please let me know how you have edited the prebuilt website. Please edit the prebuilt websites with tagdiv Composer.
The tagDiv Composer is our page builder. It can be used to create pages and cloud templates, but not posts. For this, you’ll need to use Gutenberg or a classic editor.
Using tagDiv Composer, you can build/edit the single post template (the layout of the posts).
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg to do this you’ll need to have the posts already.
To change the logo please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
For mobile please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png
Please provide some screenshots.

Thank you!

Hi,
Thanks Anamaria!

I have another question:
(Image 1) is the Modal popup that we customized for mobile.

How can I make these side edges, which are white, black?

The icon to close the modal popup (X) is overlapping the search bar, how can I move this position a little lower.

(Image 2) shows how the Modal popup looked on the computer. How do I make it look the same as (image 1)

**The Modal popup model used on cell phones is the same as on computers

Hi, I’m using the Momentum theme, and I’ve noticed that the order of elements on my page appears differently on desktop and mobile. For example, on this page https://barbarabueno.com/education/, the sections are displayed in a specific order on desktop, but the layout changes on mobile, which makes the page inconsistent.

On desktop, the sections appear in the intended order:

Bachelor of Communication
Web Development Course
Travel Agency Technical Director Course
Tour Leader Course

However, on mobile, the order changes unexpectedly:

Web Development Course
Bachelor of Communication
Travel Agency Technical Director Course
Tour Leader Course

I’m looking for a way to ensure that the order remains consistent across desktop and mobile without rebuilding the page. Is there a setting in the TagDiv Composer to fix this, or do I need to use custom CSS?

Thank you for your assistance!

Barbara

Hello,

No, you can not edit the mobile theme version with the tagdiv Composer. You can check your topic where I explained the mobile versions of our theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-theme-from-pc-and-different-from-mobile/

You can set the same modal here, take the modal ID and set it on the modal that you have set on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/74rESAS.jpeg -> https://i.imgur.com/PD4VUAx.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
