Hi there,

I having a problem with your theme panel. If I import demo + all content, I can’t change the logo (Header, Footer, Mobile) in Theme Panel.

Logo only can be change if I use tagdiv composer. Which means, maybe retina logo will not work.

If I import demo only, without content. I can change logo in theme panel with ease.No problem at all.

I afraid, this problem happen not just logo element only, maybe other element face same problem too.

I sure, my newspaper themes installed correctly and all my plugin, wordpress are updated to the latest version.

Looking forward for your help.

Thanks,
Azizi

Hi,

I’m glad that you’ve manage the situation, actually I think that the problem was that you do not seen these social sharing on desktop, if is so, that is because these were made to be display only on mobile devices.

Thank you!

Hi,

Our website Kimchidaily.my is using Newspaper version 10.

We have been having an issue whereby the mobile page keeps appearing on the desktop screen.

The symptoms of the issues are:
– The mobile page appears on desktop randomly
– When the ‘disable cache’ option is selected on Google Chrome’s ‘DevTools’ the mobile layout never appeared in desktop

By right, the mobile layout shouldn’t appear on desktop.

Is there any fix for this?

Hello team!

I have experienced two different problems after the last update.

1. It is impossible to reply a comment. You can create new comment but can not reply to existing. For example https://borchaninov.com/poluchit-prava-v-tailande

2. Then i try to preview unpublished page it shows something like mobile theme with a message in the bottom of a page like Critical error. This not affected pages that already published. Only with preview.

Could you please advice what to do? Especially with the first one.

Thanks in advance!

I installed the theme of the city news, but I have a different view of the main page – on the desktop what I need, but mobile is just a list of articles. What should I do to make the home page look the same for all devices? My site https://tuta.plus/

Hello !

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor.

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you !

Hello !

No short-code is rendered by the mobile theme. When using mobile theme you will have to use only RAW content, no blocks, elements, etc.

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Hi,

From what I can see now the section from your screenshots is removed -> https://i.imgur.com/ToaUcAk.png

Please notice that the mobile theme will not display the sidebar, there is no option for this.
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Since Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

Please notice that the mobile will have the same url as desktop version, the /amp will appear only when you use a mobile device and you access a page or post from google results, also the amp url will be stock on google not on your website.

Hi,

I think that you are referring on this -> https://i.imgur.com/cLWwjyR.png we’ve made some more tests on multiple mobile devices, and we can reproduce this problem only on desktop using the resize method, I notes this on our list for fix.

Thank you for letting us know about this problem!

Right now I am trying to solve step by step things were always bothering me.

So one thing which is strange on mobile view.

I like the mobile theme shown on amp and mobile pages but sometimes I see the mobile theme sometimes in the amp view.
Boring and no categories.

I use the switch to show mobile theme on amp and mobile view.

I have no idea what logic is behind this to have two views and when the software decides what to show.

Sometimes I got amp view and after reloading several times the nicer mobile theme shows up.

Any hint?

Hi,

I have a question: if I use a cloud template for the posts and add the “modified date”, will this modified date appears on the mobile version (mobile plugin for mobile+amp)?

I’m asking this because Google now indexes the website from their mobile version and not the desktop one so there’s no point adding a modified date if it doesn’t reflect on the mobile version.

Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.

Also if you are using the responsive version and not the mobile theme, you can edit the layout on each device if you are using flex blocks -> https://i.imgur.com/OF17LRq.png -> https://i.imgur.com/GXWiQjF.png

Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hi, yesterday I updated the theme to 10.2 and when I preview a post the post is shown like I am looking it from a tablet or mobile. At the bottom there is this error message:

Hello !

That is the responsive way. As mentioned above, unfortunately there is no option to achieve this in mobile theme unfortunately.

We are sorry for the inconvenience !
