Hi,
Yes, the child with amp customization will work only on theme not on mobile plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide your website URL so we can take a closer look at it. Please notice that if you are using TD Composer for pages, the AMP will not render them on mobile and will do not work anymore. Please check the documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/blazing-fast-websites-how-to-optimize-amp-with-newsmag-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately that is not possible. When the mobile theme is active, the footer will not be the same as on desktop. The mobile theme will use a different footer template, regardless of what is used on desktop. That will be the case for post pages, category pages etc these will also use a different template.
The only way of displaying the desktop footer template and content on mobile, is to deactivate the mobile plugin.
Thanks
Hi,
1. That is the case at the moment. A cloud header can be used per category (a cloud category template is needed) but the posts that belong to that category won’t inherit the header. Post pages will use the general header set in the theme panel, or the one set in the cloud post template they use.
There could be a setting added in the future, so that a post template can be set for posts belonging to a category, maybe a header as well, can’t say for sure what will happen.
2. A different logo can be set for mobile, just switch to the phone viewport
– http://prntscr.com/nikaxd and click on the logo or add a logo element if there is none
– http://prntscr.com/nikbi9 – http://prntscr.com/nikbcd
3. On tablet it looks like this – http://prntscr.com/nikcz8 If there is not enough space the menu items will fall to a second row. You could try and reduce the space between the menu items on tablet – http://prntscr.com/nikdqr or even decrease the font size
– http://prntscr.com/nike6q
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello !
I have checked your website and the mobile menu is working fine. . Please provide more information if you’re still facing this issue ! https://www.screencast.com/t/nmNoG1XBN
Thank you !
Hi, we have set-up a category for a block so when you “load next” it loads items from that category. This works on Safari, BUT not Firefox or Edge. On those it brings up items from other categories. This makes it way more confusing because it behaves differently on different browsers. It works fine on Chrome desktop but not mobile.
I’ve selected one category in the Category filter but had the above issues, so as a second measure, I put the same category number in the multiple category filter. Is this expected behaviour? Does anyone else have the same problem? I couldn’t find an issue that matched my issues in search.
I did take a quick look at those pages. I did create a post template and made the content full width. In fact in the editor, it appears to be full width. Clearing cache does not help.
And I am not using the mobile theme. I don’t believe…unless that would have been automatically activated when I imported demo content from the entertainment demo theme.
Hi, I want to add a mailchimp pop up to the mobile theme of newspaper. I added the popup code from mailchimp in the custom html secion of the mobile theme but it doens’t work.
Hello,
I’ve found a couple of posts on the forum that relate to Newspaper’s mobile theme showing up on iPad devices when using the WP Super Cache plugin — one that exists and one that gives a 404 error:
- https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-problems-3/
I am having this issue currently with my website located at https://www.theapex.racing/ and I’ve yet to find a solution that works. I find it odd that WP Super Cache is listed as a “fully supported plugin” but this issue continues to exist.
I downloaded header template 34 in cloud and enabled sticky menu.
However, the sticky menu still works on web and mobile.
You can check how sticky work in my web site

This is what I did on header manager(image capture)

Hey, it’s me again.
I have a problem with the way my site looks on mobiles.
I have static main page, made with Composer. While on desktop it looks the way I want it, on mobile is different.
What I mean is mainly block 15 with 5 posts in. On desktop it is horizontally, but on mobile it is vertically even though it’s plenty of space to fit those little boxes.
It looks terrible. Is there any way to change it?
I tried Mobile Theme plugin, but it doesn’t work really well, it displays mobile version even on some desktops – based on feedback from my readers. I had to delete it.
How to remove Search icon from the mobile site?
Hi friends,
I would like the submenus to be always open in the mobile view. Not click to open. Always open. 🙂 What should I do?
For example: http://nanaointergate.com/newspaper/submenu.png
Thank you so much for reply!
Have a nice day 🙂

Thank you for your answers
Hello, I’ve installed the mobile plugin, and the official WordPress AMP plugin, but no matter what I do, the main menu doesn’t show up on the home page. But it does on other pages (About, Category pages). It just does this weird zoom out thing but never displays a menu from the home page.
I’ve changed both the mobile footer and main menu to be the Main Menu that I’ve built (so you can see in the footer what the menu should be).

How to customize the settings of the article page sharing button on the mobile side,As shown below:

Hi I’m using a default template for my pages, not created with tagdiv composer. They have been made with a previous version of the page builder that came originally with Newsmag (forgot the name sorry). My theme is up to date, and mobile versions are working great with all my posts and even home page, but for some reasons all my pages created out of tagdiv composer are not showing any content on mobile version (with ?amp url parameter). Is there anything I am missing here ? (for information, under AMP settings, both singular and home page templates are checked activated). Thank you for you help.
In the end I had to disable mobile theme, i cant figure it out how to make the home page look good. I only left AMP active, also when I activate everything, the VR videos dont show up in posts anymore.
Hi
I want Related Posts above the author box. In the responsive site, I have managed to do this by changing ‘loop-single.php’. But I cannot see how to do this in Mobile Theme? Can you please help?
Thanks.
Hi…the template works for desktop, but NOT mobile when I have “tagDiv Mobile Theme” enabled. Can you please explain how I would have make this template with no footer work on mobile?
Thanks
How can I create a secondary carousal navbar for the mobile theme with ajax loading
So, my site currently has mobile theme options enabled in Tagdiv newspaper theme. Although, font style depends on users mobile phone fonts. But, is there any way to modify them?
Hello
I have just updated the theme to latest version. And I had read about the new amp developments.
1- The issue is with WP Bakery
Some functionalities are not working when tag div composer and wp bakery? For example we disabled some rows so that they are not visible on frontend. But they are still visible. Yes, tagdiv is installed and enabled.
2 – The issue with amp.
We are using WPML for multi language website. The view of homepages and posts are different than each other. Please see the screen shots here. Are we missing any steps and modifications?

3 – When we test some posts with google amp tester, first we get non-amp submitted result but with a reference. Seeing the amo version result confirms that it is a valid amp page. Is this normal?

I bought this theme because I tested the live and it looked very good. but in practice I’m not having a good experience. After installing the menu in the mobile version does not work, we already sent messages to the support and nobody helps us. My site is live and I’m having a lot of complaints. very disappointed.
