Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme, please notice that section will displays you all the subcategories of the main category, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hDiNUNWjIDh I do not exaclty understand what you want to mean through “two of the categories are no longer used and do not appear in the main menu (mobile) but still show up when I visit the category page on mobile.” Provide more details and some useful screenshots with this case, so I can investigate it closer and provide a more accurate response.
Thank you!

Hi,
I tried setting up WP Super Cache plugin and the Mobile theme stopped working.
I am trying to improve the Page Speed insights score for my website.
I am not able to get the mobile theme to go above 50. Please have a look

Hi,
The mobile theme is an optional plugin that brings quite a few changes to the mobile version of you site. Please read this guide: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
It is not a required implementation though as the theme is already responsive without the plugin. you can disable it if you do not like the implementation.
Thank you!
Hi There,
I activated AMP and the theme and understand the fact that you have to add a mobile version of the pages.
When I browse through the site on mobile it shows to ‘different’ sites/menu’s. It starts with the menu that is similar to the desktop site. But when i visit a categorie page (not adjusted to AMP/mobile) it changes the header color and it shows a different menu (special mobile menu that I created).
a) how can I make sure it only shows the created mobile menu at all times?
b) Why does the header color changes from black to green and how to change this?
BTW is suddenly seems to show the desktop version of the website on mobile. No idea why

Hi,
I have checked your website on mobile and the GRadient seems to works as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3gk6uySTo1L Try to clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thank you!
Hi,
This will be the AMP valid variant – http://prntscr.com/n0dqdg may take a while before Google indexes this.
Everything seems in order – http://prntscr.com/n0dqx7
If you choose the last setting in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/n0dr99 then the mobile theme will apply only on AMP. Browsing the website normally on mobile will display the default responsive version.
The documentation has been updated – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thanks
I do have the same issue. But is seems to random. Sometimes it shows mobile version on desktop and sometimes the desktop version. I use Chrome. Other visitors experience the same issue.

Hi,
If you want to use that ads code please check this documentation -> https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7183212?hl=en
Also you can use the amp-auto-ads and set the code like in this documentation -> https://www.ampproject.org/docs/reference/components/amp-auto-ads in mobile amp ads -> https://www.screencast.com/t/LmWCJDrc is possible to take some time until the ads will appear.
Thank you!
Hi,
@seanhelmes Displaying the same content on both desktop and mobile is possible, if the mobile theme plugin is deactivated.
Posts, categories, author pages etc these will have a predefined template on mobile with the mobile theme, regardless of what is set on desktop. These predefined templates are simple, this is why the mobile theme is faster than the responsive version (non mobile theme). The homepage will show a couple of predefined elements, the rest of the pages will require content in the mobile editor or they will be empty. Currently this is how it works.
Gradually we will add more settings and options for this plugin, and improve it. In this stage we are noting every suggestion provide by users.
Hi,
Also please try this amp validator -> https://validator.ampproject.org/ , this one will work only after google will index the amp pages/post
-> https://search.google.com/test/amp?utm_source=support.google.com/webmasters/&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=%207320015
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/0HdK6yDmo -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WGJ8XPIQcqzD
Now you have more possibility’s, you can use only mobile, mobile + amp like in v9.6 and amp very you have possibility to set on which posts to set the amp.
How to Make an AMP Ready Website with Newspaper Theme-> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Looks mostly alright now, still when I browsed the website there are some problems. For example this page – http://prntscr.com/n0cikk The mobile theme should not apply on desktop, in almost all cases when this happened it was caused by caching.
One solution would be to use a different caching plugin, we recommend the WP super cache
– https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Note that when the mobile theme is active each page will require 2 versions, one for desktop which you can build in any way possible with the theme, the other for mobile built with the mobile editor – http://prntscr.com/n0cld8
– https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
So the mobile version will be different from the desktop version.
The other solution is to not use the mobile theme plugin. Or use it only for AMP, now it is possible in theme update 9.6.1 – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/ – http://prntscr.com/n0cmkf
Hello. We correctly implemented our codes on our head and body, yet mobile amp theme do not shot amp auto ads. Do we need to add our codes in theme panel as well? We only did it manually with FTP to plugins/amp/templates/html-start.php.
For testing: https://www.birgun.net/haber-detay/universitelilerin-5te-biri-calisiyor.html?amp
Thank you for your help.
Hi @cahpolli,
This problem was fixed for Gutenberg editor, please make sure that you are using the the Gutenberg when you set some text in mobile editor not the classic editor.
Thank you!
Hi @meri,
Please make sure that you set the amp like in our documentation for How to Make an AMP Ready Website with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
If there are still some problems, please provide some more details and some screenshots.
Thank you!
Hi,
You mean this? – http://prntscr.com/n0cbja That page looks like that because it is broken. Seems the mobile theme is applying on desktop. This kind of issues are usually caused by caching plugins and affect only pages mostly.
Thanks
Hi. Bookmark (#) link does not work in mobile mode. In desktop mode it work just perfect but not in mobile menu. Normal links, and page/article-links works but not when using a bookmark-link. It does not recognize it as a hyperlink.
I’ve tested all possible solution (amp plugin, mobile theme menu, disable all plugins…) but no luck. What to do?
Hi,
From what I can see the mobile theme is not active at the moment on your website. Regarding the issue, the mobile top grid will only display featured posts. Meaning posts that are in the Featured category the theme creates when installed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
It will not appear if there are no featured posts – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
From what I know there are plans to add some settings to allow better management of the mobile version. At the moment there aren’t such settings.
From where exactly would you like to exclude categories? If it’s the latest articles section you could try this solution – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/latest-article-mobil-theme/
Thanks
After update to 9.6.1 it showing mobile template on desktop.

Hello Team, I found few buys in the latest update.
As everyone is complaining, it is having a compatibility issue with AMP support. I use the mobile theme from the beginning and it is awesome. It supports plugins but lightweight. I think the AMP compatibility issue is due to the unsupported plugins with the AMP.
In the Classic editor, I’m not able to add Links. When I click the link button, it is not showing any posts.
Found a few issues with the Tagdiv editor.
Hi guys, I need a different solution to AdRotate since it is buggy and I’m not getting the right support from them to make it work.
WHAT I NEED
– Display image based banners from my gallery
– I won’t use to use Google AdWords
– I use 1 size for desktop and and another size for mobile
– I only display banners in the homepage
– I have 5 different zones to place 5 different banners
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
hello sir/madam,

when we uninstall mobile theme after that home page all block showing in mobile.
plz check what that issue,
Is mobile theme necessary? or is without mobile theme website work fine ?
Hi, I’m not sure how to explain this (and probably why I’m having trouble finding anything on the forums). On the mobile theme, when I visit a category page it lists the category title and directly below it are a number of other categories listed. How do I modify these other categories? Two of the categories are no longer used and do not appear in the main menu (mobile) but still show up when I visit the category page on mobile. Does that make sense? I’d be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction to rectify this as I’m obviously missing something.
See: http://www.screencast.com/t/TMolQrS3
What I am referring to are the boxes (menu items) under 20 Questions. Not all of them are active but can’t figure out how to turn them off.
Thanks!
