You should not modify the column width, this is not recommended. The elements on the page depend on the fixed predefined width, modifying it will most likely cause layout issues.
Please provide more details about what exactly you are trying to do, maybe there is another way of doing it.
You could for example use a bigger image for the ad, instead of the default theme images. They will be displayed in full width of the column, if you are using images with custom links as ads on your website

Unfortunately, I do not exactly know what kind of Ad do you are using on your website, sorry! Please keep in mind that the theme has been designed to use only the Google AdSense code and if you want to use other ads, you should check the following useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-using-other-ads/ Also, before adding some ads to your website, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-header-ads/ Also, you can try using the AdRotate plugin if you want to have more features for Ads. Notice that plugin is not tested one but it seems to work as expected with our product.

I believe the theme will not display anything else except the ad itself (content inside the script tags). If this code is required to display, you could try to use a plugin like Adrotate to insert the ads in the website.
This ad plugin works for other theme users, and it may be a solution in this case as well. You could test it and see if the extra code around the ad is displayed like you need.

Ensure that you are using the latest theme version, remove all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. What kind of ads do you are using on your website? Please notice that our Ads (Google Adsense and if you are using other custom ads) should not influence the functionality of your sharing buttons. The ad sections from the theme panel will display Adsense ads. I could not say what other code you are entering besides it, and why it is not displaying. Maybe you are not entering it properly, if you could provide some examples of this code it would be helpful.

From what I see on the homepage, there is a header ad that displays properly

And an ad below the homepage

By default in the theme there is no option to place the ad like that, below the footer of the page. That may be inserted there by a plugin or theme modifications.
Regardless of that I don’t see any other ads on the homepage.
On the post page there is an article top ad

Besides the article ad, three is the same header ad, and now there are 2 ads in the footer

I cannot say how these footer ads are inserted there, but I believe they are not coming from the default theme panel ad sections. Maybe you have an ad management plugin that you are using to insert them, and can further configure the ads placement.

You have the option to display different ads using the theme panel, and optimize them for particular devices. This is specified in this guide

Hi,

There is only one inline article ad available in the theme panel, at the moment. This may change in a future update. You could try using an ad inserting plugin that has the option to insert ads in desired places.
That would be easier, since implementing another inline in theme by code modification would not be an easy task.

Unfortunately, please notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to manage your ads according to WPML templates, sorry! You can filter your ads only if you will use page ID and you should select the page from where you do not want to appear the Ads and use a bit of CSS code for that. Sorry, but another alternative, in this case, our theme does not have.
