Another questions – we use DFP and like to add the tags to the custom ad fields. Do you know if its possible to load the same DFP tag multiple times on one page?
Say I make 1 728×90 tag and 1 300×250 tag and place them in the sidebar and main content area of the side. User scrolls down and it loads the ad space again and again – will this still serve ads or will DFP leave the space empty or mess up reporting?

Please provide the url so we can take a look. Also provide details on how you tested, if you tested with browser window re-size you have to reload the page to load the ads corresponding to the window current width.
Note that the theme ad system was built for adsense and custom html ads (image+link) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ad/ – http://screencast.com/t/uaS5GpvDOo
If you use another type of ad the theme code doesn’t make adjustments on it, you have to make modifications on the code or look for a plugin which handles this type of ad.

Ads should come after the pagination as a natural function of the theme. When page buttons come after the ad, using the buttons becomes less intuitive to the reader. Please consider adding this feature in the next update of the theme, instead of requiring code tweaking (which can be fraught with problems, and intimidating to us non-code types – which is why we buy themes!).
Another note – the Featured Image fails to carry over to the additional pages. This should be a default action as well.
That was my other thought, in which I’m not sure why you need the first half of the condition. I just ended up using WP’s get_post to make a proper object, which is more reads, but not too bad. Thank you!

Things have gone quite well replicating ad positions. A few questions as I finish off the move to Newspaper 6;
1. TagDiv ad block – for sidebar does this only have one ad and one widget? The one where you enter code in Theme Panel? I have used multiple Adrotate widgets instead.Can I use multiple instances of your TagDiv ad widget? Different ad code in each?
2. I have property pages – they are custom pages from Estatik plugin. in the shortcode from the plugin
[es_single_property] in generates the single property house or apartment – I need to remove all ads from that page and all like it – remove header ad/sidebar (sidebar which I’ve used a plugin for and removed the sidebar so that’s done) and all other banners – just need a clean page or no other real estate agents will pay to list properties with us. My previous theme had a tick box to remove all ads in WP editor for posts/pages. Is there some custom CSS or other code that I can put in to help with this?
also need all ads removing on ‘All Listings’ – ‘For Rent’ – ‘For Sale’ (accessible from dropdown menu) How can I do this?
3. Style 8 (posts) shows badly on smartphones – the parallax seems to corrupt

Have used various themes over the last couple of years, but fairly happy with Newsmag. If I was choosing now, I would probably go with Newspaper instead, as I would prefer the wider look. This is mainly for more versatility in displaying ads, as Newsmag column widths are too narrow to display a 728 ad width if you have sidebars.
Other than that, it seems to work well with bbPress and The Events Calendar, both of which I use. If I had more any coding skills I would try and play with some of the single post formatting, but it works very well out of the box.

BASIC SEO TIPS:
Note that Google rolled out new version of PANDA recently. They continue to refine placement, and are putting emphasis on mobile friendly, ORIGINAL CONTENT, āanswers to questions,ā https capability, pagespeed insights, sitemaps, and the usual stuff still relevant:
a) inbound links from organic sites, not paid text links or text ads, help placement
b) blocking bad links from ābad sitesā such as low quality scrapers ā you can disavow bad sites (we do this with sites like āsearchnakedā which had thousands of links to us)
c) proper schema markup
d) limit junk posts (e.g., youtube video and one sentence ā is not original content)
e) limit content you āstealā from other sites then link to them as source ā write your own version, get your own photo; that helps your ranking
f) site structure matters; good navigation, prioritize the POST over categories, tags, etc.
g) donāt sell text links, avoid popups, interstitials that block content loading for Google bot
h) READ the free Google guide to best practices for SEO
i) write original headlines ā check your headline to see if it already exists; do something different!
j) posts should have at least 5 paragraphs so it looks like original post and not excerpt of another post
k) donāt use ānext pageā for home page; conflicts with your category indexes
l) update site regularly ā updates every 6 weeks shows lack of new content
m) create your own images where possible, vs copying somebody elseās
n) learn to use your Google webmaster tools (now āconsoleā) properly

t) answer comments on your posts to create dialog
u) make backups of your site often and carefully (!) ā if your system crashes, and youāre off the web for prolonged period of time ā very bad for SEO after xx days
v) do you have a backup plan if your host goes out of business, or GoDaddy DNS crashes again and your site is down?
w) consider spending a small amount on Google ads to promote your best posts or site on the topic you most want to be found under, like āhorse breedingā or whatever
x) make sure your site is verified with all the top search engines

My setup is very similar to yours.. I’m also using siteground hosting, and W3 Total Cache i’ve found it to be be really good. I’m scoring 99/100 (without ads on pingdom).
– First thing to do is use some of Chris’s mods in particular remove the Emoji Support, and any other plugins that may be loading assets on your homepage (Share plugins, Contact Forms).. you need to conditionally load these assets
– Also i minified the main javascript file using http://javascript-compressor.com/
– Remove all CSS your not using (BBpress, Buddypress, Woocommerce) and minify your CSS here csscompressor.com
I hope you get this working soon, as i have had no issues with TagDiv themes

Has anyone used WP Pro Advertising System with Newspaper 6 before? Our project is not based on used Adsense, but to have direct advertisers in the website. For this reason we need a robust Ad Management System.
The WP Pro Advertising System allows for us to let advertisers log in, get their stats, manage their campaigns if they wish to do so and many other features.
Based on anyone’s experience, of course, our next question is how to integrate this with Newspaper 6.

The controls provided in the Theme Panel -> Ads section work only for adsense. For other ad systems you have to use a plugin which can handle those ad types or make modifications on the theme code.
The ad you provided is actually a banner (image+link), this is also supported by the theme but you have to use the structure provided in the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ad/ – http://screencast.com/t/ytrqUizn0KZ – You have to add multiple banners, one for each device. If you want to disable the ad on one device simply remove the line used for it – http://screencast.com/t/EsgtCFLj

I’ve tested Estatik real estate listings plugin and EventOn event calendar plugin by the way – and from my point of view (with no real tech knowledge) they look perfect and work just fine, no issues yet at all. Thanks for your answer – that re-assures me on the ads.
Will spend more time making a home page and let you know if any other issues. Biggest issue is using the staging site and then having to also create new content on existing site, which will have to be re-posted at some point to the new ‘live’ Newspaper 6 site š

I see this td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_module_search is not set.

I could use the search engine of google, but if i remove your search from the menu with .display: none, every time the page loads it shows up for a while.
So any other way or to remove it, or fixing it and using it.

However when I try to disable this ads (by clicking the disable) on desktop, and then hit the save settings, it seems that there is no change?
Because what I want to do is: to switch from ads to another ads with different platform by using the function Disable on Desktop in the custom ads.

The settings are saved in the database, when you switch to another theme wordpress just loads the settings saved for that theme.
@oronmati – that’s strange, the css shouldn’t get lost, if you have a backup use it to recover the lost css.

I’m trying to add some custom fields.
What I have done so far is
– created form with Gravity Forms
it create post for me with some custom fields
– installed Custom Field Suite
– managed to edit the code to show that custom fields in the post
The thing is that now every post would show that data

Heh. I don’t work here (TagDiv), but was in my home office Sunday working on our new ecom system, trying valiantly to meet Aug 1 deadline (and doubtful at this moment). Was waiting for FTP stuff to update, so poked my head into the forum here and thought I’d share my thought on that AdSense shenanigans.
I don’t spend much time here anymore, but I have been poking head in re new version of NewsMag which I’ve not had time to upgrade to, so unaware of any new bugaboos and whatnot, hence my comment on a “known devil” … that devil called AdSense š
I don’t think there is a “compare” chart between the two themes. Primary diff is the Newspaper is “wide” and the NewsMag is more “narrow” … menu is different, some of the headers are different, pre-built style sets are different, modules are different due to the more narrow width. So on and so forth. Some of the juicy goodness of Newsmag has percolated over to Newspaper v6.
Seems like some stuff needs tweaking, like lazy loading and couple of other things, but it’s been working great based on the “last” version around here. So, “I have faith” š

I’m really hoping I can get some help on this issue ASAP.
I followed the new guide to adding the code, but now I have other issues following the tutorial.
Now that Iāve found the right file and Iāve added the codes as outlined above, Iām running into other issues. I followed the steps to add the code based on the field names I made (I created three hide_inline_ads, hide_top_ad and hide_bottom_ad) so it would have been easier for me to identify which is which. I placed in the code like you can see in this image:
But for some reason now when I check the posts themselves on the frontend nothing shows up (Iām currently testing this on my staging site). Any ideas whatās wrong in the code?

The css loads after the html elements and because of this for a few seconds the elements are displayed one on top of the other. Try to disable SpeedBooster and see if the issue is still there.

The mega menu is one of this themes best features,
and I seem to have it set up improperly.
What happens is the top row of the mega menu is perfect,
but for some reason, the sub categories are repeated in a huge white space
below the main mega menu, when it’s open.
To see my problem live, look at the Pets mega menu
and see how the sub categories of cats and dogs and other pets
show up under the nice image-based menu at the top
