I was greeted with ‘There has been a critical error on your website’ when I tried a live preview of the theme.
How do I resolve this?
Whenever I try to make a change or save the Theme Panel, there’s an infinite loading and it never saves.
From my hosting provider –
1. Tested the website on every available PHP version in cPanel.
2. Repaired the website’s database.
3. Turned the WordPress Debug Mode ON – it did not show any indication regarding the theme issue.
4. Set the default file/directory permissions in the root directory of your domain ‘spieltimes.com’.
5. Monitored the server’s error log, the website’s error logs in the root directory and the /wp-admin directory and reviewed the browser’s console. The website does not generate errors when we try to save changes applied on the theme.
Unfortunately, the issue persists, and we still see the infinitely loading ‘Save Settings’ screen when we try to edit the theme on ‘spieltimes.com’.

I believe this will do what we need. However I’m having a lot of trouble with the Cloud Template feature. It is loading but when I load a template I’m receiving the “Error at zones…” error, this was when attempting to use the blank template. When trying to load the template Single Post Template 1 – by tagDiv – it is not loading at all, even after 10 minutes.

Any assistance would be welcomed. I need to create this template and the replicate it across multiple sites so very important I get this working.

Dear, I’m sorry to have to say but the last update is not that convenient…
First of all, the preview button allow 3 options. It’s nice however we have to click twice now to get a preview. Can you imagine how many time I click on this button per day ? Now it’s all twice longer. Please do something in the next update.
Secondly and I’m very angry about it. You change the set of basic colors for “Group”. Why ? Now I’m obliged to write the old grey color in the Hexa box (#eeeeee). Lot of time wasted too.
Third, there is a mistake in the columns. When you move out something from the column it goes somwhere lost in the article. The selection can’t detect a blue line to find it’s position.

on mobiles my homepage has no content and also the first page is set as showing latest post.
In the tagdiv preview it looks fine though.
i disabled all plugins except tag div, i followed the install guide, still does not work, if you dont fix my theme i will give you a 1 star review. This is unacceptable.
I tried the MintyPro template for mobile and it turned out to be a disaster. It looked good in previews, but when published it displayed as half code and half content on my IPhone. Had to change back to my old design quickly.
Has anyone had any success publishing one of the new mobile templates for Newspaper?
Slider gallery on mobile is not working… It works on desktop, but on mobile, I just see one photo and can´t click on arrow to change it to other photos. If I click on the photo, it just open the photo. Weird thing is that on preview it works perfect. But then on the phone same problem – it don´t work. Is there any manual how to solve this problem?

I understand, but an author can publish directly on my site and this is not acceptable because we follow a policy of prior review by the administration, so all the contribution has to come from a contributor, however a contributor without this option available, is not able to create a smart list for example, and this does not make any sense.
For me it remains a bug, because all other features of plugins like SEO and other plugins is accessible to the contributor on my sites, is default for wordpress.
Please indicate to me the line of code where your developers have excluded contributors so that you can change since you think this should not be corrected what is wrong of you.

is there a way to post a single photo from Instagram via embeding with photo shown immediately? I can´t find a way to do it – if I try to post only URL, wordpress writes me, that this content shouldn´t be displayed and tries to give there just the URL in the block instead.
When I try to post a photo via embed code from Instagram in tagDiv composer, it just showed a blank post with the possibility to show the picture on Instagram. When I click on the post, it opened new window with post I wanted to show, and only then on the window with preview of my site the picture showed.
So my question is, if it´s possible to show the picture without clicking on the blank embed instagram post?
I already said that has nothing to do with the plugin. Forget the PLUGIN!
Mount your wordpress, install your newspaper theme, put a user as author or contributor, user that according to wordpress will only have options to write articles for your site, don’t publish until you wait for an administrator’s review, and check that that user does not have the “post settings”, only administrator and editor has “post settings”, is a bug of the theme.

Unfortunately not, the users have to create an account on the website. Users that are authors or above can then create and publish content on the website, lower roles can submit the created content for review. The theme follows the default WordPress user role capabilities https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/ It won’t interfere with them.

Hi, when I try to edit a post with elementor I see the message: “The preview could not be loaded. error 403”
I tried to disable all plugins and then activate it one each time.
I noticed that the plugin that generate the error is tagdiv composer.
Anyone has the same issue?

When I select Quote in WordPress (5.5.3) Blocks the feature seems to have changed.
It used to present inserted text in large blue capitals. Now it appears in small grey upper and lower case (not in itself a problem) but in preview and live page it comes out in very small grey text, never in the red or at usable font size I have set in Theme Panel. Nor are any of the other Quote Styles looking correct – all have the text too small.
This problem only occurs with new posts. Quotes in existing articles look fine, e.g. – https://jazzjournal.co.uk/2020/11/05/heart-full-of-rhythm-ricky-riccardi-on-satchmos-middle-years-2/
Have WordPress changed something? I have changed no settings. I am using NP 10.3.6.1.

I’ve been thinking and reviewing, and I came to the conclusion that the problem is the Newspaper theme and not the plugin.
If we do not see, without the plugin, I can assign a user position to a freelancer who publishes articles on my site/blog, but I will not put it as an administrator, but as editor or author to be able to publish and send articles for review, the problem is that the option of “post setttings” only appears to administrators or positions with power to publish directly without sending for review like autor or editor user.
I need to fix this, please tell me how to do it, thank you!

I have a problem in the PublishPress Capabilities plugin, and after contacting their support, indicate to me that the problem would be with the Newspaper theme and should contact newspaper support.
The problem is,
This plugin (https://pt.wordpress.org/plugins/capability-manager-enhanced/) allows to separate the skills of a particular group of users, and in the case of a contributing user, author, he can not access the options of post settings to configure for example smart lists.

I have followed instructions on how to deactivate the Author box from posts as well as comment and reviews from the theme panel and also by adding custom CSS. However, the author standard box still showing up on the articles, it seems like something is wrong.
I’d appreciate any heads up on why is not working.

It looks like you are using a Default PRO template. All the PRO templates or the cloud library templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer.
The top bar most likely you will be able to edit it by simply opening the composer on any page: https://www.screencast.com/t/zss1GgKE
In order to see the reviews you will have to add them when editing the post here: https://www.screencast.com/t/TGY1EXZ9p and then using tagDiv COmposer simply add the element on your template: https://www.screencast.com/t/hCYE7ehv

Notice the sidebar ads/widgets and the continuous scrolling when you reach the bottom of the article.
When I try to use any other post template, it does not have a sidebar and does not continue to scroll. I’m specifically trying to use Template Style 1.
